Appalling airline with appalling customer service. They misplaced my luggage and wouldn't answer any calls or return emails. Do not travel with them.

The call center agents of Middle East Airlines are very rude, if customer is asking questions they will just hang you up and drop the phone. they are no respect and no manners >:( very pissed off ... especially this lady on duty this time August 02 2017 (5:10 pm) ...

Worst customer service!! Lost my luggage on a business class ticket, ruined my entire vacation!!! Gave me false information if any.......this was the worse experience, they still haven't found anything and don't really seem to care!!! What a disgusting airline!!!

Bad customer service..flaying from Canada to Beirut they lost my baggage.. I never have with me .. waiting for 3 days in Beirut they never give to me my baggage.. when I return to USA they told me they going to send me ,waiting 10 days they never did.. they are lies..I NEVER Going to fly with MEA. Bad service..

We traveled from London to Jaddah via Beirut to perform religious Umrah in Saudi Arabia. Overall, flights are satisfactory but Beruit airport needs to have a lot of improvements to raise its standards. On the way back, we have a 7 hours stop over during night time. Non smoking policy was not adherent fully and we have spotted 5-6 hidden smoking spots (usually nearer toilets) in airport. Interestingly, smoking smell was a continuous disturbance in mosque and in Church. After a lengthy discussion with MEA staff, we have been provided a snack voucher at 5pm in morning. We were told to go to Cafematic and we were offred only one on the 2 sandwich (no veg options) and a drink. It is difficult to take sandwich in the morning and when when we tried to change it with fruit or other healthy option, our request is strictly turned down. When we tired to buy some stuff in airport, British pounds are not accepted (Only US dollar and LL) - I will think twice to travel via this route in future. Flights are OK

The worst experience ever on an airline. I took my parent for a trip to italy With mea because i want them to travel with our national airline .beirut-milan the 23rd of sept , one bag didnt arrive we received it on the 26th in rome . On our way back rome -beirut on the 1st of october we had to walk in the rain to reach the plane and above all we received our bags wet inside and outside , all our belongings are wet . I have an urgent question
My wife has a flight tomorrow on MEA from Beirut to Frankfort then on Lufthanza to detroit . She has a syrian airport with J2 visa to USA , will she need a rransit visa to Germany?
