Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples within their TSA attendant systems that can harm the welcoming experience for turist. I've experienced that when one of them threw my passport on purpose without apologizing. It's very disturbing and disrespectful. I didn't bothered to report it but I'm sure that person won't stay too long at her job with that sort of "education". I'm a Jew and would never treat anyone like that regardless of my military, security background, or personal beliefs. There's no excuse.

Well your comment is so untrue. I've been in this airport and i can tell you that this is one of the best airports i've ever been in. The security is pretty hard I'm agree but what did you expect? Israel need to have a hard security to avoid problems. More than that the airport gives you a easy opening to Israel with his tourists service. Israel is amazing!

This is the worst airport I have ever traveled to or through. I am a world traveler and spend 90% of the year abroad. As a U.S. citizen I understand that airports need security, I thought the first time OK I just got the luck of the draw. But 4 years in a row I have been treated like a criminal every time I come through this airport. The security has no respect for the people traveling through here and helping keep them employed. They are rude and have a smartmouth.my recommendation is do not go to Israel it Is not worth all the hassle or headache and if you do go then go 4 hours before your flight.

I have a return flight from Athens to TLV which arrive b4 midnight. My flight back home is the next day. Can u tell me the airport opening and closing time as I intend to sit there and wait for my flight rather than check into a hotel for just a few hours unless there is a hotel in the airport itself which I don't think so. How about the business class lounges. What time does it close or open.

My regards , as an AGL expert , I prefer two parrallel runways , a terminal building in between , the view is not clear enough , i think you have only one approach (landing) direction , My best wishes
