I was a passenger traveling to Auckland with my husband and my toddler. The security guy very obviously conducted a racial profiling and started checking us publicly. I took the humiliation with a smile but the mental man did not stop there, my child started crying and when my husband mentioned was this necessary? He went berserk and started threatening to detain. Like really ? For what? I have never felt this discriminated ever and that too this obviously. Needless to say will never come to the country thanks to his actions. I wish you could take some action against such ill tempered staff and move forward in this world.

In March I booked a Premium Parking Space for the week commencing 17 September 2016. On arrival no Premium Parking Spaces were available and I understand this was not an isolated experience. UK Trading Standards need to investigate this airport for advertising and selling a service it cannot provide!!!

I came to Anchorage for my nieces wedding in September. I flew in on Labor day and lost my enhanced drivers license that I need fore a cruise. I called and left a message for the lost and found and asked that they return my call. Due to the holiday I knew I couldn't hear back on that day. I called again on the next day and left another message and asked to have that call be returned. I explained that even a call to say they did not have my lost license would be appreciated. I never received a call back. No matter what time I called I never got an answer. Everyone else at the airport was very friendly and kind. But the lost and found either needs help or a more considerate person to return phone calls. I still have no idea if they found my license.

I arrived in Berling via Tegel Airport on August 17th. My bag did not arrive. It has been 3 weeks today that I still do not have it. I have not been able to contact anyone though hours of trying. The airport only responded to confirm a delivery time that we agreed upon... for yesterday. Very Frustrating!

I just got back fr om Punta Cana. I was traveling with my boyfriend, we were there for a week on vacation. I was selected for a "random security check." I went through security and they scanned my hands, apparently something showed up. They told me to have a seat. I asked what they were doing, and they said they were pulling my luggage to be searched. I was fine with this, knowing I had NOTHING in it. After 30 minutes I was escorted to a little room and asked for strip down for a search. I was completely searched by two women, who were asking me questions in Spanish, and could not understand me. The entire time I was completely naked while they poked and prodded me, and repeated they couldn't speak English. I asked for someone who spoke English, and they just kept saying they didn't understand. After this, I was lead back out to the waiting area, where I sat for an hour, they escorted me back to another room, where my suitcase was on a table. They had not even searched my luggage, yet, but had decided to strip search me, as well as pretty much do a cavity search or my person (digging in my mouth, telling me to bend over so they could see other areas, etc.). Mind you the entire time, NO ONE spoke English or could understand me, or at least they kept saying they couldn't speak English. Yet, they kept asking me questions. They searched my luggage, and found nothing, except for a bag of my prescription pills (blood pressure medicine, migraine prevention, and birth control, along with two bottles of vitamins.) After they packed everything back up, they sent me back out to wait.. My boyfriend and I were both asking them, how much longer this was going to take, because we had gotten to the airport three hours before our flight, and we were approaching the time our flight was about to leave. He kept telling them we were going to miss our flight, and they still told us nothing. They pulled me into a room again, this time with six people, one girl who spoke English. They asked me why I was in the country, where I worked, what my job was, how long I had been there, why I had all of the medicine in my bag, what they were for, and wh ere my prescription was (In the U.S. we give those to the pharmacist and they give us the bottles with our names on them.) I explained this. They kept for for another 20 minutes asking me the same questions over and over again. It was a horrendous experience. I kept asking them what they had found that had warranted them doing a strip search BEFORE checking my luggage that had obviously come up with nothing. And why it took them three hours to get me a person who spoke English. They eventually let me go, only to have to be escorted to our plane, which they did hold for us, due to they were holding me. The girl that spoke English finally said that my birth control had left something on my hands and they had set off an alarm. When we got to the states my boyfriend Googled what the machine was checking for, and apparently it checks for explosives? I still have no idea what they found or why they kept me for over three hours. I just know that I felt and do feel completely violated by the fact that I was strip searched and they touched my body, without even checking my luggage! It seems to me that would be the last effort, not the first! I had already been through the detectors and everything else. Our vacation was amazing, but this experience was awful.

O.M.G.... This has to be one of the tightest security airports in the world !!! Went on vacation to Shanghai but had to connecting flight in Bejing first. Being my first time in China who knew we had to go through security just to connect to our Shanghai flight because a use it was still China Air. Well , when I saw airport security wearing combat boots I knew I we were in for it. They searched the contents my bag thoroughly and dumped most of the contents in a bin..My little bottles of allowed alcohol was confiscated because it was brought from duty free and was opened. I did ask but knew not to get into any confrontations cause I wasn't going to go to jail in China...
When you are wand you step up on a block and a person of the same sex will wand every..and I mean every part of your body no exceptions !! When they finish you might ask why didn't they buy you a drink ?? I was kinda traumatized that I walked away from the security area and left my very expensive purse with all my id's, passport and money..While waiting by a store for about more than five minutes the female from security ran up to me with my purse and said , You left this .....OMG !!! Sishe..... (Thank You) ...Now onto Shanghai...I feared coming back through Bejing Airport but I had no choice..After our ten days it was time...Well, it takes at least 1 1/2hours to get through the airport including Customs and Security so be very patient....cause you have no choice....Once we finally cleared everything we waited at our gate. Beautiful and very confusing airport.Extremely clean !!! I had to admit when our flight was announced I couldn't wait to leave China...we began boarding for our flight but wait...Here we go again Security searches you again asking "Do you have any water " ? and checks your bags... If buy any liquids in the airport you are not allowed to consume them on the plane.. I must admit the TSA needs to retrain with the Chinese !! All I can say " God Bless America "

I am writing to you regarding one way flight SOFIA- BARCELONA -AMSTERDAM for 22.08.2015, with flight N: VY7637 and flight N:VY8300.
On the domestic terminal 1 during transfers from Sofia-Barcelona to Barcelona -Amsterdam I lost their my personal belongings, which I bought from Sofia Airport - white bag with blue inscription Sofia Airport. It contains an open bottle of mineral water, boxes of cigarettes AQUA BLUE, Murati, David Gold, box of candy, black cardigan, etc.
Upon my arrival in Amsterdam, was left that my luggage is lost also! My luggage is black suitcase n: 1C654201, with personal belongings, clothes and shoes .

Our flight - Hong Kong Express Airways UO1755, was scheduled to leave at 6:50am on July 31st. We arrived at the airport the night before to make sure we were on time for our flight. Long story short, after arriving at the gate on time the next day, we were told we were too late. We never heard our names called or a final boarding announcement on the way there. We asked the man at the gate, Horris, to see his supervisor. After about an hour, his manager, Jimmy, showed up and adamantly told us that the airline had a strict policy of closing their gate exactly 20 minutes before departure. However, at gate 525 next door, Hong Kong Express UO 273 was accepting passengers for up to almost 5 minutes before departure. We told Jimmy that we were there on time and asked him to review the security cameras. He dismissed our request and just said that we needed to buy new tickets at full price. If we had a problem, we should call the police. So we told them to call the police. We thought that the police would help us resolve the issue. We were wrong. They told us that they had no right to look at the security cameras and referred us to Hong Kong Airport Authority. HKAA said that it wasn’t their problem and told us to talk to the airlines. We spent the next ten hours being pushed from one department of the airport to the next. The response everywhere was clear and unanimous: “not our problem, here is a number, do it yourself.” The authorities talked with the airline staff at great length, while very few asked us what happened. When more officers came, they only talked to the bosses of the airlines. Worse than that, nobody – not the police or the Hong Kong Airport Authority - wanted to see the security footage to see who was telling the truth. They also complained that I was arguing in English, saying that this was Hong Kong and we should be talking in Cantonese. I don’t speak Cantonese. And even though many of them could speak English, they kept trying to use my wife as a translator. My wife, who speaks Cantonese, was caught between looking after our baby and trying to explain our situation to whoever would listen. Finally, Hong Kong Airport Authority said that our tickets were no longer valid and that we needed to leave the security area immediately, and the police said that if we refused they would arrest us for obstruction of justice. We asked them if they could at least review the security footage. They said that they would, but we wouldn’t be allowed to see it for “security reasons.” Minutes later, we were escorted out of the security area by a dozen or so officers, about half of which were armed with machine guns. Finally, the HKAA officer came back and said that the footage showed that we were 10 minutes late. I asked him whether or not he checked to see if the other passengers on the neighboring Hong Kong Express flight were late and allowed to board, and he said that he didn’t check. My wife overheard another officer in Cantonese saying that the videos on their cameras weren’t clear and that they couldn’t see anything. I suppose that if the authorities show this level of irresponsibility, corruption, and ignorance, how could we expect them to be fair?
Also, while we were running around, it was interesting to observe the demographics of the people complaining and having other problems at the airport. No Hong Kong citizens seemed to be having any problems. There were a few white foreigners that were arguing at the counters. There were more brown foreigners and mainland Chinese that were having issues with airport and airline personnel (they were speaking in Mandarin or other languages). However, there were many black foreigners that seemed to be having problems at nearly every place we went. I don’t know what country most of them were from. I don’t know what their issues were. I’m not even black. But just from looking around, there seemed to be clear discrimination against certain groups of people and preferential treatment given to others.

I am a Nigerian,who travelled with RwandAir on the 21 of this month from Dubai to Kigali,unfortunately there was a delay on our flight from Dubai for 12 hours and that made us miss the connecting flight to Lagos on the same day. On our arrival at the Kigali international airport at about 11.30pm rwandan local time,we were advised to join the Ethiopan airline to Adis-Ababa and then back to Lagos. We identified our luggage before they were checked in in the Ethiopian aircraft.Unreaching Lagos from Adis-Ababa we discovered to our utmost surprise that our luggage were not in the aircraft. We haven't seen our luggage. The question is: are they in Kigaali or Adis-Ababa? We need our luggage now. All I have personally at the moment are in my box and in my travelling back. Please do act very fast. Thank you for your co-operation

London Heathrow airport is one of the busiest airports in the UK. Thousands or people come and fly from Heathrow airporT. I have read a news report about Heathrow airport that management is planning to expand the facilities at Airport due to the increasing number of travellers. There should be good car parking facilities just like airport parking luton for the passengers.

Izhevsk airport cancelled a flight for me and my wife on 31/05/2015 at 13:45, without any warnings whatsohever. The end result of this was that we lost all the subsequent flights and had to pay an additional 250 eur to make this change. Even worse was when we arived to Domodedovo airport on next day. Because my visa expired for one day, I had to renew my visa for 25 eur and lost another flight which cost me another 125 eur to reschedule, not to mention the fact that I lost one day's work, spent a lot of money in making calls and all the nerve wreking issues of taking care of all this stuff with people who don't speak English. Yes, that's right, don't expect English speakers in Izhevsk airport, and you are lucky if you find some in Domodedovo airport. Total loss= 400 eur (not counting calls expenses to make airplane reschedules and one day work). I will only return to Russia if my wife really needs my presence, other than that, no way!!! Would not recomend going on hollidays.

One of my brand new luggage was damaged by American Airlines baggage handling staff on the 04th of January 2015 on my way from Las Vegas to New York (JFK). I spoke to a baggage handling supervisor Shelly Anne on the same day at the JFK airport. She was nice enough to refund $400 to me by cheque. But i had to purchase a new bag and send the proof of purchase the Deborah Darby who is the Damage/Pilferage Coordinator JFK airport terminal 8. I bought the bag in New York and did as Shelly Anne asked me to. I live in Australia so i scanned and emailed the receipt of the new bag and also my boarding pass and ticket details to Deborah on the 12th of January 2015 as soon as i came back to Australia from New York. My first email to Deborah in regards to my damaged luggage was on Monday the 12th of January 2015 and Deborah responded to that email on 07th of February 2015. I responded to her on the same day (07 Feb 2015) for her very late response and i have not heard from her ever since. I wrote to her again on Wednesday the 18th of March 2015 to remind her about my cheque (still waiting for a response). The service i am getting from American Airlines lazy staff like Deborah is shocking. I have tried to contact Deborah Darby (Damage/Pilferage Coordinator JFK Airport Terminal 8) numerous times but she DOES NOT respond or acknowledge to any of my emails. I am disgusted and highly disappointed in her inefficiency and poor attitude towards work !!! Deborah is useless and AA should consider recruiting someone else willing to work and do their job well as the Damage/Pilferage Coordinator. People like Deborah are a liability to any company ! I will not hesitate to do anything and everything to get my cheque for my damaged luggage and an apology for such poor and low customer service from your incompetent staff, Deborah Darby. I will never use American Airlines again nor will i recommend AA to anyone i know. Worst Airline Service ! You deserve a gold medal for poor service !

I have some amends to make.
First of all, when packing to return home, I suddenly found the stand in my stuff. So it hadn't been confiscated. I don't know what the form was about, but the young man wasn't guilty of over-zealous confiscation. The stand was not on Suvarnabhumi's list of prohibited articles either, I checked.
Secondly, as I write this second report from a lounge in Suvarnabhumi on my way back, I am aware that the place isn't at all so bad as my previous impression. Perhaps because this time I am transferring from a domestic to an international flight rather than vice-versa, and the international pier is much more customer-friendly. I am travelling back using an "Economy Outward Business Homeward" arrangement and am now enjoying the hospitality of Thai Airways' Business-class and upward lounge (Royal Silk Lounge D) and am truly impressed by their hospitality. You can get WiFi, a light meal and drinks for free, all in a relaxed and quiet "Hotel Lobby" atmosphere. The Science Fiction architecture and subdued background sound from the vast tubes behind me that the airport is made of provide exactly the right atmosphere so that (for instance) the clicking of my laptop keys doesn't annoy my neighbours in the eatery.
Also I would like to make a special mention of the young lady from Thai Airways who, after we had failed to locate my flight on the board before I entered the terminal, made a special point of looking it up (departure after midnight so not yet on the departures screens) and deftly following me all the way through security just to give me the gate number. I hope she gets to be CEO of Thai Airways!
And then the security. This time the staff were quite impeccable. They accepted my offered carry-on items with a smile, and a "Happy New Year" would you believe, waved me through and congratulated me on my rudimentary attempts to speak Thai to them. They run away with my current top award to security checkers for treating passengers like human beings and not prisoners lining up for porridge. (Currently leading Koh Samui and Paris Charles de Gaulle in close equal second place with Amsterdam Schiphol a very poor third.)
So the moral of the story is of course, not to judge by first appearances. Suvarnabhumi is a huge place and I think each section also has its own atmosphere and culture. I have overall had a wonderful holiday in Thailand and I wish the country and its airports all the very best for the future.

Don't use Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports for departure. Both airports use body scanners without any censor. Moreover the operator sees you as well as your nacked body at the same time!

It was a really good airport, I spent 3 days at MIA waiting for a flight to Lima and the airport employees were very kind. For me is a good airport the only bad thing is that the only terminal in the whole airport that is presentable is the concourse D, only used by AmericanAirlines.

I will never use this airport again. Granted, it was nice and clean, but the parking manager is an asshole. Hear is the story:
I go home on Christmas break for an intention of only 10 days. I decided to just use long term parking for this venture. My wife was pregnant and just entering her third trimester as we travelled. While on vacation my daughter decided she was going to be born a full 2.5 months early and I wound up having to stay 20 days longer while she was in the NICU before having to come back to work. Of course parking fees were an unbelievable $400, almost as much as my plane ticket to California.
After a long process of getting a parking refund request filed and 3 different employees reassuring me that I could get most of the money back; this greedy bastard says, "While we can empathize with the issues you were dealing with, your request is not a result of an error by RDU in policy or practice. As a result, no refund adjustment is possible".
I call bull shit on that statement and also Frank Dickens (parking manager) needs to look up the difference between empathy and sympathy. Because if he could truly "empathize" with me, he would truly understand how hard it is to loose half your paycheck to fucking parking fees.
I mean, seriously, you guys don't make enough money at an airport to refund 2 thirds of the parking fees I never intended on, especially given my extenuating circumstances. It's bad enough I got all these sudden medical bills without you guys fucking me over on top of that. So thanks again RDU and more specifically you Mr. Frank Dickens, you really are living up to your name, DICK!
Because of this response I promise I will never use or allow my family to use RDU airport again and I am going to give Fayetteville Airport my money instead. I don't care if it costs more or not, they are closer to me anyways and way less hassle If I could give you guys 0 stars I would..

disappointed with Edinburgh airport as all airlines cancelled flights to sardinia ,Sicily and other cities to Italy ,germany or France ,only boring ones to Spanish resorts are left,we want to book a short city break in mid march but there are no interesting ones just the same ones all the time ,looks like Edinburgh became non entering zone for airlines even eastern european cities in Lithuania etc have more destinations so really people from abroad are disappointed ,any plans to open new routes????

The new terminal-2, constructed with an estimated investment of $894.3m, has an annual passenger handling capacity of 40 million. International flight operations at the terminal are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2014, while domestic operations are scheduled to begin by 2015.
