Hi, I traveled from San Francisco to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi by flight (EY182 AND then EY 204)and arrived Mumbai on 1st October 2017 evening. On reaching home have realized that baggage has been damaged. One new Samsonite bag has big dent and other American tourister bag has cracked.Both bags are hard bags. Have been trying to contact your local offices as per details given on your web site with no luck. For filing damage claim it needs PIR no and do not know what No I am supposed to put. Kindly advise at the earliest as I need to put claim in 7 days.

Hi Ashwin, if you would like to file a damaged baggage report, please find the related form on this page: www.etihad.com/en-ae/before-you-fly/bagg... or write to our baggageclaims@etihad.ae address and include your booking reference and the photos of the damaged baggage. *Max Ashwin : Hi Etihad, I flew from New Delhi - Abu Dhabi - Manchester on 16th September. PNR no. NJZVVW. My baggage arrived in a plastic packing and I didn’t realise something was wrong with it until I reached my room. The suitcase had its lock broken and half the zip was left open. The open side of the zip was also broken. This was not expected from Etihad after so many claims of hospitality and service. I did not file any complaint with the airport since this issue was not noticed until I took off the plastic covers hiding the problem. I’d like to claim for the damage. Please advice.

Hi Aggarwal, Are you referring to a delayed baggage issue? As the last operating carrier on your journey was American Airlines, we would have to advise to retry contacting them for more information as they will be the only ones able to trace your luggage and arrange its delivery. We have heard so much good reviews of Etihad and that why we chose Etihad for our trip of our the lifetime to Toronto, We arrived Toronto on March 25 2017 but one of our four lugguages never arrived. It was freezing cold when we arrive and have to spend money to buy jackets etc . Etihad agreed to settle it on 6 May 2017 but as of today we never hear from them despite our repeated emails Please help us to speed the payment as soon as possible Irregularity Report YYZEY13150.

Hi Etihad, I flew from New Delhi - Abu Dhabi - Manchester on 16th September. PNR no. NJZVVW. My baggage arrived in a plastic packing and I didn’t realise something was wrong with it until I reached my room. The suitcase had its lock broken and half the zip was left open. The open side of the zip was also broken. This was not expected from Etihad after so many claims of hospitality and service. I did not file any complaint with the airport since this issue was not noticed until I took off the plastic covers hiding the problem. I’d like to claim for the damage. Please advice.

The flight was delayed by a very long time , i missed my connecting flight to Boston from JFK and was first booked to an AA 199 but i got that moved to an earlier flight B6 918(jet blue ) to Boston. Now the entire itinerary was booked from kolkata,India to Boston via Abu Dhabi and JFK . My baggage(one checked in) was supposed come right through to Boston as told to em by Etihad employee in JFK when asked if i have to collect it at JFK for customs, they said no and it could be collected directly at Boston. The baggage tag is :0607 EY639623. The bag never arrived in Boston. Jet Blue said the bag was never loaded to the jet blue flight by etihad. I have tried calling every Etihad baggage office but no one picks up and goes to voicemail. I left voicemail in the new york office but have received no response. Please help !!!

What's more frustrating is that my hotel has been trying to locate bag through rep at airport and the Etihad agent has not provided any news on lost luggage. I have had to purchase meds, toiletries etc that was in that suitcase out of my pocket. Other items needed that I cannot replace here I needed for my stay. Bala: Yes I today received my bag completely intact. I must appreciate all the efforts made by Etihad to get my bag back. There were at least two emails as well as response on other platforms from Etihad about my baggage and that they were making efforts to get it. Infact there was a call from Airport as well about locating my bag. I guess a loss of baggage happens due to various reasons but the subsequent handling and support has been great from Etihad and I commend the airline and their staff. After making some phone calls it appears it has been sitting with the Etihad baggage team in Heathrow Airport and hasn't been passed along to British Airways to get sent to me. I don't understand how this could happen, I have been offered no apology or compensation and I am very frustrated by this whole issue. My Baggage information is TXLBA14783, please contact your Heathrow team and get them to prioritize giving it to British Airways, I leave Berlin in 3 days and don't want to have travel any further without clothing and footwear.
