Dear Mary, We're sorry to hear this disappointment and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Do you have a case reference number at all to take a look into this and contact the officer accordingly *GW mary joseph : I just want to share one of the worst experience i have ever had on board with Etihad Airways. I was traveling from Dublin to Cochin via Abu Dhabi on 01.01.2016 on EY 280. As i arrived Cochin i was missing one of the two baggages , authority from Cochin asked me to submit my baggage tag and gave me a reference number 16612. after two weeks of searching they confirmed that the item was lost ; mind you all this time i was contacting the office not them. Now they have offered me a compensation 850 Dirhams ( Rs. 15000 ) compensating of my lost valuable wirth 5500 Dirhams ( Rs. 100000 ). Please tell me is this the way you treat your customers ? Etihad should know one thing you can never compensate for what i have lost, Please do needed if you think you treat your customers well.. thanks

I just want to share one of the worst experience i have ever had on board with Etihad Airways. I was traveling from Dublin to Cochin via Abu Dhabi on 01.01.2016 on EY 280. As i arrived Cochin i was missing one of the two baggages , authority from Cochin asked me to submit my baggage tag and gave me a reference number 16612. after two weeks of searching they confirmed that the item was lost ; mind you all this time i was contacting the office not them. Now they have offered me a compensation 850 Dirhams ( Rs. 15000 ) compensating of my lost valuable wirth 5500 Dirhams ( Rs. 100000 ). Please tell me is this the way you treat your customers ? Etihad should know one thing you can never compensate for what i have lost, Please do needed if you think you treat your customers well.. thanks

Today was my first experience with Etihad, and surely will be the last! One sincere piece of advice: AVOID ETIHAD at all costs!! I had 13 hrs layover in Abu Dhabi, and they didn't even provide a hotel room. Plus the food on board is unhealthy and tasteless..

Hi! We traveled from Toronto to Sydney, with the stops being at Dublin and Abu Dhabi. We arrived to Sydney on Monday, February 1st. The flight from Toronto to Abu Dhabi was with Aer Lingus. We had 5 checked in bags, one of them being a surfboard worth about $1000. 4 bags made it, and the surfboard did not. I've been in contact with the local Sydney lost baggage service, but as of now, they still have no information on the missing surfboard. File reference number is SYDEY23589. What is the policy on how long before we can start a claim process and would the value of surfboard be compensated? Thank you.

We will follow up with our baggage team in order to get your baggage back as soon as possible. Thanks *FT Sara Heller : My flight from Abu Dhabi to NYC (EY103) was cancelled on account of weather. The airline put all the passengers on another flight the next day (EY2103), which was then delayed twice more. Eventually the plane took off and arrived in NYC. Upon arriving in JFK, I found that only one of my bags had arrived. Over two hundred people on my flight were in the same position, and formed a line to report their lost items. As a result of the massive airline delays, I had to leave the airport immediately, and couldn't wait in line for the hours it would have taken to report my lost baggage. As a result, I have no file reference number for this missing bag, but I have the tag and the bag number. I would really appreciate a response, as the airline has thus far been extremely unhelpful. Thank you!

We will fast track your miles claim and give you an update. Thanks *FT Bernard : Etihad, everything but the miles, I flew with my wife and children many times in 2015. At every Etihad boarding counter I asked specifically to put all the family miles(3 plus me) on my Etihad account. “Yes, of course, ok, it’s done” said the Etihad crew at every different place and occasion. End of the year I had +/- 5000 instead of more than 50 000. After several try online, several mails, a lot of time spent to complete different registration, they wrote to me: “all your request has been fulfill”. As I had clearly mention name, guest no, flights for all my family…, I thought it was done. But how could I trust them after all… I checked and saw that AGAIN, they didn’t give any miles for my children and wife on their account. After several months and emails, they finally put some of the miles but I lost almost 50 percent of them due to the 6 months delay. They answer that it was to be fair (LOL), so basically my mistake was to have trust their official crew words and even official written email. I don’t understand their strategy as they are ok in most of other field, but watch for your miles!!!

Our luggage was delayed for 2 days, it took 3 hours to file claim, which required us to buy new clothes and other essential items. we did received our 4 bags, after 2 days. we have requested for delayed baggage compensation and submitted receipts of clothes bought. awaiting Etihad customer service response. When I arrived at the airport, I got to know that my flight was delayed (cancelled) for unknown time period. I was not communicated for the delay. We were provided with a hotel accommodation near the airport. What follows after this was unexpected and undesired. I am a Oneworld member and travel to India quite often. I never had such a bad experience. First, the flight was delayed, I understand that the flights get delayed. But I can't understand why the Etihad staff was not treating the guests properly. I know it was not their fault that the flight was delayed but it was also not our fault. We paid the price for the flight and the staff is being paid for their services. The staff was totally unable to handle this situation. I request to etihad to tell their staff to treat everybody equally as customers. I noticed that the customers who were yelling at the staff in English were better off than the ones who were politely asking the staff in Hindi. I felt so sorry for this whole situation. It was horrible. Second, we were sent to the hotel and were told that there will be alternative flight booking for us. Then I got an email that my flight from Delhi to Abu Dhabi has been rescheduled (more than 12 hours of delay). But I got no information on my rest of the flights. When I talked to the customer care, they told me that they also don't have any information on this and I will know about my rest of the flights at the airport. When I arrived at Delhi airport, I got to know my complete flight details. Delhi to Abu Dhabi (more than 12 hours delay already) Abu Dhabi to Vienna (7 hours waiting at Abu Dhabi) Vienna to Stockholm (3 hours waiting at Vienna) I had no boarding pass for this flight, and was asked to collect it at Vienna. Total 8 to 9 hours of flight was now more than 30 hours flight. With this horrible flight details, I could not expect more wrong. I was not even asked if I am happy with this itinerary. The staff should have contact me before booking these flights. I had experienced flight delays, flight misses. But I have always been consulted about the alternative arrangements. But here with etihad, I had a very bad experience. When I took my boarding passes and headed for immigration check, After waiting in a queue (of more than 10 people) when it was my turn, I was stopped by the immigration official telling me that this flight number (to Abu Dhabi) is not available in their system. I was asked to contact the Etihad staff. I stopped other people who got the similar flight number to save them from the inconvenience at he immigration counter. So I was doing the job of Etihad staff there. This was pathetic. Finally, Etihad staff fixed the issue. Further, I am vegetarian and I told the staff at Delhi to book vegetarian meals for me for all my flights. Later I found out that this request was not entertained, when the staff served me non-veg meals. I was lucky that I checked the served meal and changed it for a veg meal. For my last flight, I was without the on-board meals. At Abu Dhabi, I asked the Etihad staff, if I could have access to the lounge so that I can sit peacefully during 7 hours of delay. But they simply said SORRY SIR, WE COULD NOT PROVIDE YOU THE LOUNGE FACILITY. This all inconvenience caused a lot of stress and fatigue during this journey. Indeed, I was on bed for 2 days after the flight. I had to ask for one extra leave at my work. So there was a loss of work also. I wanted to write to Etihad to ask for inconvenience charges but I could not find on their webpage wh ere to apply for this. Is there anyone who could guide me.

I got the file reference number as BOMEY19839, but if I log that in to the system it can not find it. Yesterday night I got call from person names Abid who said my bag will be delivered to my house today by 10 am and took my address etc. Today when I called just now, no one has any idea whats going on. The bagged claim lady "rishibala" who gave me the above file reference number is not picking up phone. The other person I talked to today said she is not there as he pass expired. what is going on? Can a bag be traced ? I am totally frustrated I am here only for a week and 2 days in by bag is still not there. What should I do. .

The Etihad number on the form is also never answered. I am sitting for over a week without my luggage now and have absolutely no indication of wh ere the luggage is. I will definitely not fly with Etihad again with this type of after sales service!

Guest : Etihad misplaced my luggage on the 26 of Decemeber and it still has not been returned to me. There customer service is absolutely atrocious with not a single employee willing to help. All there customer service numbers lead to voicemail and no one returns your call. I cannot believe I'm dealing with this sort of service in 2016!!!! FCOAZ28491 Flight EY0440-08 Tag : EY131514 The service of Etihad Airwaysis absolutely inappropriate - they should be punished legally for this kind of services. No any custom service at all at any airport and you should call them for the hours spending the millions to find out some information. Traveling on Budiness class on the ticket 6079712568413 they have lost my the one and only suitcase on the flight fr om Abu Dhabi to Rome EY 0440-08. The bad was not simply loaded in Abu Dhabi. After 24 hours I have received a message that the bag was found and will be delivered to the airport of Tivat today in the evening with a flight YM8110 to Tivat (Montenegro) wh ere I should stay for 2 days. The airport has refuse to make any home delivery so I was obliged to travel 2 hours in taxi to pick up my suitcase. When I have arrived to the airport the suitcase has not arrived and they did not load from the connected flight in Belgrade!!!! I have no any warm clothes with me and tomorrow I should go to Moscow!!! You should refund the costs of the ticket and refund all my expenses for the lost language! What a * service in Business class - what are you doing with the suitcases in Economy I am just wondering!!!! The worst company for its service! Noany feedback fromall their mails. I have arrived from Ho Chi Min to Rome on Business on the 9th of January. In Abu Dhabi connection they have lost my only suitcase. Till now they did not deliver anything and did not sent any feedback. I think it is not just a lack of Service it is really criminal as they have stolen my bag and do not want to answer to me. Who can protect the passangers? Since they have the money - they do not care! I have arrived in a t-shirt! Real * company!!

I was travelling fr om BOm-AUH-DUS on 10th Jan in flight numbers 9W 586 and AB 7461. I was informed by the ahs people in Dusseldorf airport that my baggage will be delivered to my address in Berlin by Tuesday. But I have not received it yet. Moreover, when I track it online, it shows the message "ITEM LOCATED, PENDING CONFIRMATION". I tried to call on the phone number provided on my missing report. However, it says either it is out of business hours or the line is busy. I have tried to call on that number several times through out the day, but I have not been successful in talking to them even once.
