Hi. Im Gener Malveda i fly last 22 May 2016 at Etihad airways from Rio de Janeiro to Manila with connecting flights to sao paolo and abu dhabi. One baggage was lost and until now the baggage claim department in manila always tell thr same status. "Under tracing". Anyone please help me to find other ways to find my baggage. I also ask for my file reference number but when i send it to the etihad website it says error.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I TRAVELLED WITH ETIHAD AIRWAYS AND WILL BE MY LAST TIME. BY FAR THE WORST AIRLINE WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE. I am from the UK and travelled to Dhaka on the 3rd April 2016 and my return flight was on 14th July 2016 which arrived at Manchester on 15th July 2016.. I had 8 baggage in total and 2 were missing. Filed a missing report at the Manchester Airport counter. One luggage was found and delivered the next day. However, one luggage is still missing. I had really valuable items in that luggage together with memorable items. All 4 of my kids expensive clothing, mine and husbands clothing. Jewellery worth £250, expensive wedding outfits we bought for my brother in laws wedding which we attended in Dhaka also a smartphone which was gifted by my brother in law for organising his wedding. plus many many more items. I have claimed for lost luggage. I have called manchester airport etihad office and have no reply and no news of my claim. They tell me to send them an email and I don't get any reply whatsoever!!! its been over a month and im really really frustrated as there is no means to contact them and there is no one available to tell me what's happening with my claim. Also have high phone bills with all the calls I'm making. never had any problems travelling with any other airlines. Qatar Airways the best airline around. I complained about my lost items at the baggage claim but they didn't give me a file reference number. I traveled to India on 29 April 2016 on EY0160, EY0272, EY0281, EY0101, and EY8266. My baggage claim was 0607 EY243726 and 0607 EY243725. I came back to USA on 13 May 2016. I would like to get my file reference number as soon as possible. I look forward for your reply. Thank you.

Etihad is the most disorganized airlines of the UAE. I travelled from Nairobi to Islamabad . At Nairobi, the electronic systems were not working and so everything was done manually including boarding pass and laggage tag. There was one hour delay in Nairobi while already inside the flight.this was never communicated with the Abu Dhabi office and so the next flight was a mess . There was no planning and passages were confused as there was no enough time and there was no one to support . My bag never arrived in Islamabad and I am sure it was just poor coordination and communication .

You Really ruined My Trip with that - as e.g. I am having My dive-Course here and My new GoPro-Package is in that bag to make pictures etc. additionally, i have Had no clothes, swimming gear etc here. On my arrival at San Francisco on 13th of May evening received only one check in baggage. One of my Checked in Baggage is missing, I have complained about this to one of your staff at Airport and filed a complaint. I have been contacting the airlines for the past seven days but the reply I get fr om them is "Sorry for the inconvenience, we are still tracing your baggage". I gave all the information required Bag Tag/Serial number, Color, Brand, Type, Most of the contents inside the bag. Provided most of the information required to identify the baggage. I am in USA for my vacation, all my clothing's and other things are in that baggage. I don't have any extra Clothing/Toiletries with me now. This is the first time I am experiencing this type of problem from one of the most reputed airlines. All the things in the baggage are brand new items including the Suitcase. This incident is ruining my vacation. Baggage Information: New American Tourister (App Lite) Trolley luggage (Full Black), four-wheeled, Less weight, Black Color, TSA Lock. Etihad Baggage Barcode#: EY243208. Baggage Weight: 23 KG Complaint Reference Number#: SFOEI10727 Please trace my luggage at the earliest, so that I can spend my remaining time as planned. Send the baggage to the address provided. When I spoke with the Airlines about the reimbursement lim its, didn't get any information about it. Upon landing in Los Angeles, I spoke to an officer near the baggage claim area and he said he wrote my complain but he did not give me a reference number either, I even filed a baggage claim online but I have not heard back from anyone.Since then I have been constantly calling etihad offices in Abu dhabi, and majority of the times my calls don't go through or the person on the other end does not seem willing to help.I am very frustrated as the contents of this bag are expensive and necessary for my business. GATIRI DAKWAK Guest : I sent an email and I am yet to receive any information whatsoever about my wallet. I have called tour numbers severally and no.body is picking up the phones. Dear Sir/Ma, I lost my wallet on the flight with boarding pass here in attached, on the 11th day of May, 2016.  I made several calls from dubai and also visited your dubai office but to no avail.  On the day of my departure I made enquiry at the etihad lost and found and was told to go to the police. I found the wallet at the police point but unfortunately they were closed fothe pick up and I was leaving at 2;30 am, the police gave me the reference number as 1341 and adviced that the airline pick the wallet on my behalf via a letter of authority. I have hereby attached a letter of authority, my passport biodata page, my boarding pass and etihad guest card. Guest : Hi, I flew from Manchester to Melbourne via Abu Dhabi on 24/04/16. My flight numbers were EY0016 and EY0460. I purchased a new suitcase on 23/04/16 while still in England and I have the original receipt. My luggage arrived on time but the case was damaged; the wheel was broken, the brand badge is missing and the front of the case is all marked as though something was spilled on it. The value of the case is 24.99 GBP. I have tried to put a claim in for the cost of the case on the Etihad website but I am unable to do so as I don't have a file reference number. I did not have time to report the incident at the airport as the flight was delayed and I had to rush to catch my transport. As per the latest update from American Airlines they have not received the bags from Etihad and they have suggested us to follow-up with Etihad from our end while they are still trying to reach Etihad. We do hope they will be able to assist you further, we're sorry we are not able to help further at this time *Gill Ninad Bodas : on 22-Apr i was scheduled for Phx-La-Auh-Mum flight. PHX-LA was AA. After that EY. I could not board PHX-LA flight because of delay but my 2 bags were checked in. AA says the bags were unloaded in LA, but they dont have any information after that. I canceled 22-apr flight fr om LA -Mum and reissued same itinerary for LA-AUH for 23-Apr. I want to know wh ere bags are now? And what is the procedure to collect them? I am right now flying to LA from PHX.
