DO NOT USE MALINDO OR THAI LION AIR! They will lose or steal your luggage and then all emails you send to them will be ignored, telephone calls you make, they will hang up on you, if they even answer at all. They are both companies that need investigating and shut down if things do not drastically change!

Have paid for Business Class Tickets and to find there is no business class lounge avaliable, 7 hour wait for flight, after discussion they gave a $30 ringit voucher per passenger which is * as a packet of m&ms cost $23-50 ringit.. We use Malindo all the time and never again

I booked my ticket to Hanoi from new delhi, yesterday, and now after receiving ticket from Malindo India Team via email, the ticket have my name VINAMRAMR Gehlot, but I have a proof(invoice of the ticket) that has my name Mr. Vinamra Gehlot on it, the airline have mixed the Mr. with the first name, is this normal? I have tried calling the airline, they don't respond at all, and the phone is always busy, so is that typo in ticket allowed? would I be able to take off with the plane? the plane is scheduled on 27october,2016. Also, the malindo air .com says they were not able to retrieve my information, so, should I trust the ticket? because the official site has yet no confirmation, am I part of a really big scam here? pleassse help!!!!

My whole vacation had to be cancelled because they delaywd their flight and never rebooked our flight or arranged an alternative travel. Lost almost USD 2K on bookings because of their unprofessional approach and management! Worst airline, stay away from it

I felt very disappointed when I've given my honest feedback to Malindo Air so they could at least acknowledge their mistake and improve their customer service. Now after a week still there is no response from them and I came across so many complaints on their facebook page which are left unattended. They only respond to general complaints, which are very generic responses or perhaps one specific template. There is no human touch to their customer service. Below is my email which I sent through their website feedback form & also submitted through their facebook page. Flight no. OD131 Ticket Ref no. 8169178213885 ----------------------------------------- Hi Malindo Air team, I would like to escalate & lodge a complaint against your customer service. Ive made 2 calls and also visit to Subang Jaya airport, total of 3 touch points just to change the date of my sisters flight ticket. All of 3 touch points have given me a different & incorrect information & the way customer service personnel has handle the call was rude and no professionalism to facilitate the customers. Ive made 2 calls & the details are below: 1st Call: Date: 25/08 time: 3:07pm spoken to Mira and she has told me that Ive to pay the difference which is 298+30 = total 328 to be exact and I can pay credit card details to make the changes. I told her that will call back as I need to confirm with my sister. 2nd Call: Date: 25/08 time: 3:38pm spoken with Rosana and she has told me that Ive to pay RM700+ to do the changes, when I inform her that my brother is at Subang airport and they are asking for RM476 to make the changes. She said if they are asking lesser might as well do it from there, is it the way to speak with your customers? While providing a wrong information. We finally paid 476 to Malindo Air counter at Subang airport and complete the assignment. It is very painful to see that we rely on Malindo Air to travel and they deal in such a manner. Kindly listen to the call and improve your customer service and if you are unable to track the call, I have recorded calls which I can send you. Why I am taking the pain to write is because this is a return flight from Pakistan to Malaysia. We arent flying on our national Airline PIA and chosen Malindo Air to seek a better service and also when we check online Malindo claim to charge no fee for changes in date & the reference of website is: www.malindoair.com/lk/no-date-change-fee... Hello, I was wondering, I was in a process of booking a flight ticket to KUL but suddenly my internet went down, so the site had to refresh. I had to book all over again and as I was in the payment section it mentioned my previous booking, the one before my internet crashed, and it asked me to check again with the previous booking or else my bank account will charge twice. The problem is, how do I cancel the previous booking when I haven't even finished the booking?? Need help asap thankyou

Malido are the WORST airline I have ever encountered. Messed up our flights chronically resulting in us losing out on lots of money and despite many attempts to contact them, not so much as a receipt of message. ABSOLUTELY DISPICABLE SERVICE. STAY WELL AWAY

Malindoair Customer Care line i.e. 03-78415388 and its customer care email i.e. customer_care@malindo.com or info@malindoair.com is the worst customer service I had experienced. I have been calling so many times to seek assistance but ALL nobody responded or a human being attended my calls. They let the voice machine attended with its stupid messages continuously without any regards or concern of its customers need. It is really suck !!!!!

I had a problem of not getting any email confirmation after booked the ticket last month and decided to inbox them through their FB page. Fortunately, they replied my message in FB on the next day and later that day I received emails. Thank God at least their FB page is active. Just to suggest, if you can't reach them through Customer Service number, inbox them directly through their FB page.

Need to upgrade your phone Customer Services. Has been waiting for long time, almost 25 minutes and no answer. Has called back few times and still no answer. Need an upgrade on customer service. Number 0378415338. My suggestion, Malindo Airlines should hire more people to Customer Service Dept to give better services to their customers as you all are becoming one of the top Airlines in Malaysia.

The time I booked is 5.05pm on 9 Jan 2017, but was given 3.10pm . I requested the ticket to change to 5.05pm without any additional payments. Regardless any argument who is making the mistake, I am sure my request is reasonable since the travel date is still 5 months later, and there are still available seats on the 5.05pm flight to date. Yet after calling the call centre and emailed the official request letter and supporting documents (I will arrive at 11.20am and intend to depart at 5.05pm same day) to provided email customer_care@malindoair.com, no acknowledgement nor reply received till today. It is frustrating customer service no longer services customer. Okay maybe lip service. I had also encountered so many times of delay not arising from bad weather or faulty planes (but because they cancelled the earlier flights so that all passengers can be grouped into one later flight). Yet customer cannot do anything to hold them accountable. Customers are now always at losing end.

Malindo Air has promo tickets of RM18 on sale. Guest purchased ticket for confirmed date/time of travel and a couple days before date of travel, the airline will retimed travel time to a later flight and it is the last flight!!! The fact that guest chose and purchased ticket for their chosen time of travel is meant that they have to travel at that date/time. This has not happened once BUT TWICE. Is this a promo gimmick fr om Malindo Air wh ereby guests are enticed to purchase promo tickets and hoodwinked to choose their own travel time and subsequently moved to a later travel time and Malindo Air puts up the earlier travel time for sale at a higher price??? Guests can check your seats availability online and can see that original travel time is altered by 10 mins but at a higher price!!! This is the last time guest will travel on Malindo Air and that includes all family members ! Your airline that started well building up our trust BUT UNFORTUNATELY we do not trust your promos available online....better do something to regain our trusts!!

I travelled from Penang to SZB Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 16 July 2016. My flight detail was MALINDO AIR Flight Number OD 7177 CONFIRMED Departure: PEN PENANG, MALAYSIA 3:20PM Arrival: SZB SUBANG, MALAYSIA 4:20PM The wheel chair services was also purchased for my use since I am 83 years old. My ticket purchased included sms of RM2. Upon check-in and also when I was wheeled in by your Malindo staff, there was no information of the flight delay. There was NO sms sent to my daughter's handphone nor the person who will be receiving me at SZB airport since I have included said person's name on the wheel chair services docket. Neither of one received any notification of the flight delay and flight only arrived in SZB after 620pm!! To help you improve your services to maintain our trust, and earn the privilege of being our airline of choice each and every time we fly, we would like to know what exactly happened and why no sms was sent if flight was delayed, etc. It is indeed of grave concern that there is NO communication to your clients!!! A feedback has been sent to your 'Malindo Air customer care twice and NO FEEDBACK!!! This is not the RM2 sms issue but the principal of having the sms service - is there something wrong with your customer care???? You can also suspend your Customer Service Tel No:03-78415388 as we are kept listening to the recorded advert of your services!! Buck up!!

I cant check-in online and my flight is 8 am tomorrow. How am i supposed to get there in time..if the check-in can only be done 48 hours to 4 hours before departure? And yes..i live far away from KLIA. Called the Call Center for 6 times now and no one answer it.

The worst worst worst experience ever. Guys seriously my dad and mom came for 4 weeks holiday, its been months the bag hasn't been found yet. No apology, no email, no claim whatso ever. The holiday ended up being our worst nightmare ever as we didnt had clothes, all our important documents jewellery including other costly accessories are all gone. This flight has made us pay in big deal please everyone we had been in big pain. Please don't * ur money more than that * your time and energy on this airline. Its not at all cheap as we had lost triple amount of money.

Because of delay from Malindo in Hong Kong My wife and kids are struck in KLIA because the delay caused missing of connecting flight on Malindo to india. No malindo staff have attended to them They just close the counter and left in KLIA with no assistance provided No one knows if they have any other arrangement or not Suspect two kils aged 5 and 6 and my wife have to sleep in the waiting area for 48 hours or more without a bottle of water being offered to them yet, No one answers the phone in Malindo Shameless attitude from Malindo

I will be filing a lawsuit against Malindo for refusing my wife a flight because her passport was in validity, but prior to purchasing the ticket we called an operative on the phone and asked them if it was ok to fly with them we were told yes as long as we stay at the same terminal which it was ao we purchased the ticket. Months later they changed the terminal so when we got to check in my wife was refised and they called her a flight risk even though we had evidence of her passport renewal in Manila and return flight tickets but somehow shes still a flight risk and was refused. After spending 2000 dollars or more on flights to go to Manila that week i emailed Malindo several times but not one response back. I learnt later that airlines shouldnt accept purchases of the passport is in validity anyway ao when i take Malindo to court where i will be suing them for several things. They are pretty much up * creek.

Wow. Malindo airline. Stop hiring all the rude ladies at the ticketing counter. And ask the boss not to off on Sunday, at least turn on the phone. Besides, do not allow the whole finance department to off on Sunday. All these combos and funny policy add up to ridiculous customer service. Asking the customer to pay double the price again for the ticket they already purchased is stupid enough already. Just like the Bomoh using a block of ice to solve the haze issue. I face palm so hard I accidentally broke my nose. There's no point telling you what happened at the counter because you won't believe it. Just wait when next time you go to a fast food Restaurent and the cashier tells you to pay double the price because she's unsure if the payment has been processed. This sounds absurd enough to you? There's worse. Imagine she didn't tell you the status of the transaction and asked you to pay double the price for no earthly reason. Simply for the sake of the flawed procedures in the system governed by the retarded policy. You don't just open an airline for fun. You manage it properly. Who am I you may ask? A poor person who's rich enough to rent a bicycle and cycle from states to states than taking this * again. Waking up at 5am is not fun. Dealing with poor customer service is not fun. Missing the flight is not fun. Canceling all the schedules on the other end is not fun. You know what's fun? Writing all these to let others know how messed up is the Malindo airlines system.
