Hi thanks for your reply. I've seen that flight as arriving and thought that it may have a turn around and be on its way back out at some time today but my flight number is not detailed as a departure at all. I was expecting to see my flight number on the boards as I've seen before when leaving LGW. Guest : Geri Chambers : My flight is not even listed as leaving LGW for Corfu! Anyone else flying there today on P7355?. Geri - showing as departing 1820 South Terminal. I'm guessing your flight will be on Airbus SP-HAD which is over Lichtenstein at present on it's way back from Volos.

I flew with Small Planet Airlines on the 6th of July to Kos, and the 13th of July back to Gatwick and it wasn't as awful as everyone has stated but I wouldn't fly with them again. Our flight was delayed to Kos by an hour, and hearing how some people have had 12hrs+ delay we were fine with it. BUT when we got on the plane thinking we were going to leave, we ended up sat there for another hour and a half while the pilot said he had 'tracking issues' and was trying to find a path for us to fly, which didn't make me feel very safe! We had turbulence and were caught in a storm, obviously not the airlines fault, but the cabin crew made you feel safe and calm. We didn't have our flight delayed on the way back to Gatwick and had a lovely flight. However, again.... more problems! We paid for extra leg room, and a little while through the flight we had a group of loud teenage girls irritating the passengers and none of the crew told them to be quiet or anything and considering we had a 4hr starting at midnight it was hard to get any sleep! I was sat in a seat where the seatbelt was taped together which I thought was appalling, I didn't feel safe AT ALL! My arm rest also wasn't secured and was flapping around during the flight, not great. Also, we were hungry during the flight so me and my family all wanted to buy some paninis, however the crew said they only had 2 paninis to last the entire flight... WHAT. So me and my sister had one and had to half it to share with my parents, Small Planet should have stocked the flight with enough food to cope, so if all the passengers wanted food they should be entitled to it. Also, when we were at our hotel in Greece we met up with an English family and they said they changed their flight and upgraded it from Small Planet to Easy Jet which doesn't really say much for Small Planet. I think we were just lucky and got off easy with Small Planet airlines and I definitely wouldn't travel with them again.

For all those poor people that are trying to claim from Small Planet and /or Olympic, there is a good article in the Daily Mail today explaining the rules etc.

Steve : Long delays You are entitled to care by the airline (phone call, refreshments, meal, accommodation, transportation to the place of accommodation) if the delay is: two hours or more for flights of 1,500 km or less; three hours or more for longer flights within the European Union or for other flights of between 1,500 and 3,500 km; four hours or more for flights of over 3,500 km outside the European Union. If the delay is more than five hours, and you decide not to continue your journey, you are also entitled to have your ticket reimbursed and be flown back to where you originally started your journey. If you get to your final destination with a delay of three hours or more, you may be entitled to identical compensation to that offered when your flight gets cancelled, unless the airline can prove that the delay was caused by extraordinary circumstances. Additionally, airlines can be held liable for damages resulting fr om delays. Might also be worth pointing out, especially for flight only customers that where the ticket has no value as in most charter tickets wh ereby there is no price on the actual ticket itself, you will only be able to make a claim for that part of the journey if you decide you still want the holiday but are making other means of transportation. Most companies will have a standard guide and have a flat fare that they reimburse which on a short flight to corfu say, you may only get £50 odd pounds back.

We recently flew small planet to gran canaria for a holiday. As many people, we had never heard of them and looked to the Internet to see some reviews. I am not the best flyer in the world and like others hated the thought of the impending disaster ahead. We had no problems at all, flight on time, staff great, plane in good condition (better then most monarch planes!) and the same was for the return flight. Only advice I can give is make sure you have pounds and not euros to spend on the flight as it is a very bad exchange rate they give. Thank you small planet, we look forward to flying with you again in the future(not through Olympic though!)

Guest : By the looks I think the problem with many of the reviews might be with Olympic and not Small Planet Airlines. I was extremely anxious after reading the reviews and people tend not to review if they've had a positive experience. Thank you Small Planet Airlines you were perfect! Thats the point - we have the same experience. Me and my friend were terrifying before flt, LGW to Larnaca and back, all flights on time, crew excellent, even 30 mins before schedule. nothing to add

I wanted to leave this review for all of those who have been reading the bad ones. I just returned from a holiday to Malta. We booked our flights through Monarch on their Saturday flights from and to Gatwick (flights P7 363 and P7364). We had no problems whatsover. Check in was quick, plane was fine, not old and the crew were brilliant. We had a English speaking pilot both ways. No delays, flights were comfortable, refreshments served as any normal budget airline. By the looks I think the problem with many of the reviews might be with Olympic and not Small Planet Airlines. We booked through Olympic, I read reviews on trip advisor about Small planet not flying from Birmingham to Larnca on Saturdays. I enquired 4 weeks ago to Olympic and raised my concerns as the internet was full of bad comments about Small planet and Olympic. Olympic assurred me everything was ok. Yesterday i was told by Olympic, the flight had been cancelled. (know trying to arrange an alternative holiday) BE WARNED OLYMPIC KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUES BUT WILL NOT LET YOU KNOW UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE MAKING IT HARD TO SOURCE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS. They should have there ABTA cert taken of them as they break certain guidlines set by it. Also Small Planet should be looked into as they can not provide a satisfactory service to the companies they contract out to.

You certainly have rights to compensation for expenses incurred, irrespective of whether you were refunded in full or not. Try filling one of these out and submit it: ec.europa.eu/transport/passengers/air/do... And take the matter up with ABTA, ATOL and the CAA - none of whom will probably be much help, but the more that complain, the more chance of them doing something about it!

Guest : anyone been able to get anywhere with compensation claim ref Olympic/Small Planet delays. I have submitted a claim to Olympic a month ago, no reply as yet, I will be chasing this up wish me luck?? Yes.....I got a reply regarding a claim and it was curt and also had no 'attention to detail' at all. We in fact walked away from our holiday when we were told they were bussing us to Gatwick from Birmingham and we wouldn't be flying until the next day! Our travel agent got us our money back for the holiday - as Olympic MUST do this if they change the departure airport from that which you booked. But I made a claim for other expenses that day...taxis to and from the airport, drinks we had to buy whilst standing in sweltering heat for a check in desk that was never going to open. Total was itemised so that they could at least choose (the taxi fares was £25 each way) - not a huge sum in the scheme of things considering we DID NOT have a holiday. Olympic said that they had already given us our money back 'free of charge'........and they would NOT entertain any claim for any other out of pocket expenses incurred. Here's the crunch though........the final sentence of the letter ...hoped we had had an enjoyable holiday anyway! WE DID NOT GO.....we returned home, unpacked, utterly disappointed and upset. In fact our summer has been spoiled by that awful experience! Needless to say I rang Olympic Customer Services to express my disgust - nothing gained there. So I have written another strong letter and will wait with interest their reply. Our aborted holiday was to Skiathos from Birmingham on July 19 - that holiday was delayed by over 26 hours and left eventually from Gatwick. So good luck everyone with your claims! Keep writing again and again - Olympic holidays are a joke!

Olympic/Small Planet have been doing this all summer, you book to go fly out of Birmingham to Skiathos and finish up being transferred to Manchester and flying out 9hrs late, we flew out on 21st June and this fiasco has been going on ever since. Also 6hours delay coming back. If you have booked with these people I suggest you cancel and get you money back.

I was supposed to be flying on P7443 out to Larnaca on 10.8.13. The flight was supposed to depart from Gatwick Airport at 0905, but was cancelled and re-routed with Cyprus Airways at 2305 from Gatwick Airport. I wanted to take this opportunity to inform you all of the appalling manner in which Olympic have treated me and to question how such a large and well established company can operate in such an unprofessional manner. On the return journey, I wasn't even informed of the change of airline or time. As I was flight only (and according to an Olympic Rep at the Airport, that's why I wasn't informed! Expect a lower level of customer service!!) I had to rely on my Dad to check the flights coming in and out of Larnaca to acertian what flight I would be on!! It is the subsequent lack of customer service on Olympics’ part, and the appalling manner in which the company are choose to operate that has lead me to complain and write such negative reviews. I honestly can't believe they haven't been repremanded, any other business would've been shut down!!

We were supposed to be flying with small planet but i overheard the rep saying that Olympic were not dealing with them anymore because they were giving Olympic a bad reputation. We flew to Corfu and back with Smart Wings on a very clean and well looked after boeing 737.The staff were very nice and helpful also. I am absolutely terrified of flying and i have to literally force myself to get onto an Aircraft so,when i heard about Small Planets reputation, i thought very long and hard wether to put myself through this journey. I just wanted you all to know that it was as good (if not better) than any other Airline i have travelled with and theirs nothing to be afraid of in respect of schedule OR the state and safety of the Aircraft.

Have managed to speak to someone fromOlympic it would appear that I am in a queue for a phone call letting me know about our flight being changed, it would appear that it's either a cancel or ammendment to my booking whatever that means the actual people who deal with this are not there till tommorow so we will see if I can ammend my booking to fly fromEast Mids instead of Manchester which I could cope with , they have flights going there on the9th so watch this space.

If the plane is too small, they must ask for volunteers first to drop out. If this didn't happen and you were chosen at random then you have a claim Checking the rules, I think trip advisor has some links also
