Hello, can someone help please! I have booked a space for my 7kg dog in the cabin for both flights with a stop in Istanbul. I ordered the soft bag that they state on the website 23*30*40, however the bag is small and my dog wouldn’t be comfy :( has anyone travelled with dogs around 6-7 kg? What size bags did you buy? I tried to change her to hold, but they have no more space! I am surprised that the bag needs to be sooo small :((.

Marcin : They have total mess in these airlines. I'm trying to fill my my passport details for few months. Every time I get error: Error-BOS-93007. No one knows what does it mean. Level of English on their hotline staff is terrible. And I can't do the check-in. I have to pay extra on the airport. Were you able to get this resolved? I am getting the same error!

I originally liked this airline, but a few things have happened that made me have second thoughts. For one thing, I paid over ˆ100 to have seats assigned on my return flight (the only option if you want to sit next to your partner) only to find that they put us in randomly assigned seats for over 16 hours on the two homebound legs of the journey. They have not replied to my claim - aren't airlines obliged to honour their paid seat numbers?

I recently travelled with Turkish Airlines from Saudi Arabia, Jeddah to London ( transit in Turkey, Istanbul) and my flight was delayed by 18 hours in Jeddah. The reason for this was technical difficulties with the plane. I was given a hotel room for overnight stay and provided a meal. I submitted a compensation claim with Turkish airlines and initially they stated that they are not part of the EU so they don’t have to pay any compensation. After doing some research I found the the SHY regulation which is a Turkish regulation that is there to protect Air Passenger flights. They’ve gotten back to me and stated that ‘We are unfortunately unable to meet your claim. The regulation issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Turkish DGCA) in the year 2012 required us to pay compensation as a result of the delay you suffered. However, we cannot pay compensation for such irregularities starting from April 05, 2017 due to the "motion for stay of execution" adopted by the court.’ Is there anything else I can due to pursue compensation from Turkish airlines for 18 hour delay? This is typical of Turkish Airlines, they make everything not to pay and their customer service is terrible. For me ; Hi I booked a round trip and then I changed my mind cancel the outbound trip and requested a refund, it was done by the automated process when you call this number +90 (850) 333 25 38 (CS) it gave me the wrong amount (192ˆ) of the initial ticket 516ˆ so i called again the person I had on the phone told me that it’s a mistake from the automated process that I will receive all the amount i then requested a confirmation email from what he said and he started saying something else, this is when I understood that something was wrong then he hang up the call. I called the 3rd time the CSR representative assured me everything but when I asked for confirmation email he hang up the call. I called again and they stated transferring from one service to another. Turkish Airlines It’s a very bad Airlines with mal practices people complaining everywhere I will advice my relatives not to fly with them. It’s more than a month and i haven’t received anything from them.

We haven't traveled yet but booked our flight with seats reserved with extra payment. With one leg changed by airline itself, we found that all of our reserved seats are gone. Called customers services and customer relation services but I found them helpless and very slow. Seems to be not caring staff.

I booked a flight with this airline for me and my wife from Lagos to Heathrow on the 3rd of March my wife flies but I couldn't fly because my visa is not going to start until the 30th of April so I call the Airline to change the date they told me they happy to change the date for my I just have to pay £54 I have been trying to pay this money since 4th of March but not succeed with it every time I create feedback form they will until the date of me flying expired then they will say we sorry we can not get back at you without time manner. They make me go crazy and depressed. I always call at least 20 times a day all they always tell me is that they have sent highly urgent response to the department. Nasty vindictive bullies. Messed around with our paid for reserved seats on economy return leg KUL-IST-LHR after I wrote unfavourable but accurate comments on Trustpilot about the appalling standard of seating, food and service experienced on outbound leg. They were aware my wife is disabled. Two days after my comments appeared and three days before return leg received email stating that for "operational reasons" our seats had been changed. For KUL-IST to 53A/B the rearmost and most cramped seats in their B777's with no seat recline. My wife would have to walk the entire length of the cabin to reach them. For IST-LHR they separated us, me in row 38 wife in row 40 of an A330-300. At KUL their agent lied by saying the flight was full and we were allocated the last two remaining seats. When I pointed out I had purchased and reserved seats in June 2022, 9 months ago ,she could not explain what "operational reasons" had caused the seat changes. When I told her she was lying and discriminating against a disabled person she changed the seats for the KUL-IST leg to row 11 just beyond the business class cabin but said she wasn't able to alter the seats for the IST-LHR leg which was another lie. I decided to deal with that in IST. The TK employees in IST that I spoke to all used the same "pass the buck" comment - change your seats at the gate. Arrived at the gate and asked why my disabled wife (sitting in a wheelchair) had been seated separately. The same lie as in KUL was trotted out - flight full We had last two seats. The TK guy on the gate can only be described as an arsehole of the first order - it doesn't matter your wife's disabled - it doesn't matter you bought your tickets 9 months ago - I told you the plane is full. You calling me a liar? Yes. Take the bags off we'll fly another airline. You can't have your bags. Fine - I'll inform the UK Civil Aviation Authority flight TK1979 is carrying unaccompanied checked baggage that might pose a security risk. Seats 21J/K are available says the a-h driving his pen viciously through the boarding cards as he scribbled the seat numbers. Liars, rude, aggressive totally disrespectful of their customers. Who in their right mind would fly Turkish Airlines?

Turkish Airline is a nightmare right now. I booked London - Riyadh - London and suddenly they changed my return date from 18th April to 19th April, however the flight for 19th April was not even correctly booked, Riyadh to Istanbul was on 19th April and Istanbul to London was on 18th April, connecting flight one day before my main flight! After many calls and feedback cases they resolved the return for 19th April and it allowed me to allocate my seats. Was hoping that all happy ending now however after 5 hours I can see that my return flight is completely disappeared from my booking and currently I am chasing again Turkish airline. My departure from London is on 11th April, I desperately need my return to be sorted prior to my departure from London otherwise I will have no access to internet in Saudi arabia.

Turkish Airlines sucks. I will never fly them again. Booked Business Class tickets from LAX to Tanzania. On the way back, our flight was delayed and as a result, we missed our connecting flight from Istanbul to LAX. The next flight was not until 24 hours later. The Turkish Airlines Passenger Rights document (posted on their website) indicates that when a passenger is delayed for more than 5 hours, the passenger is entitled to a refund on the ticket. I’ve asked twice and keep getting the run around. When I attached a copy of their own Passenger Rights document with the language highlighted, the answer I got back was nonsensical garbage: “The regulation issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Turkish DGCA) in the year 2012 required us to pay compensation as a result of the delay you suffered. However, we cannot meet your request for such irregularities starting from April 05, 2017 due to the "motion for stay of execution" adopted by the court.“ Making up nonsense just to get out of paying what they owe by their own rules and regulations. They also screwed up our business class seats on both flights and we ended up in the bulkhead seats, which is not what we selected. Never. Again. Turkish. Air. Step up and do the right thing.

Turkish airlines chop my money that i have paid for ticket for Italy, i paid 600 usd to change my start journey location, they changed ticket but they started to drive 2 hours after the time that was wrotten in the ticket (for no reason) so i missed my airplane to Italy, they said that only where i can go is my peevious location of travel, being rude with me and askin me why u had a reason to travel to Italy?!?! Thiefs and bastards, them never give me my money nor ticket, when i camw into their office, status was ( refunded )... lies. Worst airplane company ever.

The WORST airline in customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a flight with Turkish airline 7 month ago, they lost my baggage and just offered 700 USD as compensation, however the value of their offer was much less than my luggage and belongings they even haven't paid me this amount after 7 months. Each time I send an email or call the customer service they just feel sorry that I have this issue but they never took responsibility to solve it. They updated my status as PAID which is a lie!!! It's simple, if you paid you must provide me reference and documents otherwise you must compensate this damage as soon as possible! Your business is depended on customer satisfaction, why you keep ignoring your customers????

Anyone booked online with Turkish Airlines and been given the wrong flight details? I received an eticket for Aug. 6, but when I tried to check in I was told I had been booked on an Aug. 4 flight instead. I didn't get an eticket for Aug. 4. (My first assumption would be human error on my part, but can't see how that is possible given the tickets.)

I want a rebook from a different departure airport but Turkish airlines is saying they can't intervene because I bought the tickets through a travel agency (mytrip). Be Aware ! After covid we are trying to book the flight with credit and they are trying to make money by saying that economy is not available. However we can see online that it is available and our other friend book the ticket in economy class. Try to avoid this airlines

Booked business class flights from Edinburgh to Saigon via Istanbul 2023 with Turkish Airlines. I've tried to find out if I will have lounge access at all airports there and back - I can't find details on Website or Ticket and on Twitter they advised me to check a tool on the Turkish Airlines website which said 'No Lounge Access', which may be the answer but just wanted to check if anyone on here knew better :-) Thanks, Jonno

They do not have online chat, but only provide with a feedback form, where I've filled in my complaint. Worst company ever! I had the same problem, If you have booked online at turkish airline the best thing you can do is sent an email to turkish airlines of add your home country, in my case Amsterdam. My flight was cancelled, i tried online, called them several times, filled the feedback form till a friens of my suggested to email them. After 2 day I received in stead of money 30.000 miles which I used to book an award promotion business ticket (15.000 for.one way) from amsterdam-ISt-dalaman airport. You only pay tax about 80 or 90 euro for one way.

On April 7, I was a passenger on flight TK872 with my husband and my 14-year-old daughter. We checked in our luggage and we got seats 31 E,F, G. When we got on the plane, they changed our seats and we were each put in 3 seats very far apart!! We protested and a manager put us back together. On the plane the cabin chief Ms. Semai (Tremener?)threatend us and said to sit separately if not she will call the police to get us off the plane (while it wasn’t our problem and it was due to disorganisation in Turkish airline)I had traveled a lot with Turkish air but the non-respect of passenger rights for an airline that claims to be mondial class is more and more common and I advise you to travel with real companies that respect your rights.

I have been scammed by this airline to the tune of $6000 for two business class tickets from Chicago to Cairo. My cruise was canceled so I canceled my flight. Now they refuse to honor the tickets. There are other circumstances but I have it in writing. There is no other way to describe what happened to me than fraud.

We are currently stuck at the airport due to the snow storm. No information given to when they will reschedule us. They keep on asking us to wait and sit. Huge lines at airport for customer service hardly moving. Many arguments break with customers were they show disrespect and lack of customer service. They did not even offer meals for kids or hotel. The only hotel in airport did not offer rooms till mid night and single bedroom rate was ˆ400. I'm on second day with lack of sleep and no Idea when will I go home. Shame on them if they have any.

Turkish Airlines have no respect for elderly people. I saw elderly people crying in the Istanbul airport because they were denied flying from Istanbul to London because of typing errors on passenger locator forms. We the passengers tried to explain that at least the they have got their forms, any errors could be sorted in London. The airlines refused and the aircraft left without them. That was really disgusting scenerio to see. They attract passengers with their law prices but you suffer in your skin once you arrive in their hands. Never again

Guest : Hi, I had a reservation booked with Turkish Airlines and I called to convert my ticket to an open ticket. However I did not receive an email or any proof that I have an open ticket. Is this normal? Does anyone have any experience with TK and open tickets? Hi, similar thing happened to me. I didn't receive anything. They ask for the previous ticket number. When I called them later to re-book the ticket, they said I must pay 200 euros !! This equals to the penalty of cancellation! so what is the point of having an open ticket?! THIS IS A FRAUD. and they don't refund the previous money at all. TK is sure disappointing.
