So I wouldn't hold your breath about getting your money back.I have done refund in totally 6 tickets since Mar13. I have been waiting over a year. there is no any respond from Aerosvit. Unluckily,Thailand Bank allow to refund within a month after payment but I knew about aerovist bankrupt around 6 months after my patment. I have sent formal refund document to Siam Commercial Bank and call them for help but they don't care and they just said it is overdue. this is worst thing in my life. I booked a return open ticket for my brother from New Delhi to Kiev through a travel agent in August 2012. He availed one time service ain August 2012 and the return open ticket was valid till march 2013. In the mean time, in December 2012, aerosvit airlines got bankrupt and his ticket was cancelled by airlines itself, i applied for a refund in Feb 2013 after contacting their customer service. they told me that i'll get my money back in 30days, now its been about 11months, still waiting for refund. Could you please let me know that will i get my money back or not. I would be very thankful to you.

I lost 382 GBP after booking a return ticket from Gatwick to Kharkiv through Opodo. It was booked on the 21st dec 2012 and the airline announced it went into administration a week later. Surely they should not be allowed to take people's money a week before they go into adminstration. Opodomasked me if I wanted them to request a refund which I did and the flight still went ahead on the 21st fen 2013. So why carn't they refund me my money if the flight still went ahead? Can anyone advise on how I can get my money back?

I was disappointed but i did it. but then they cancelled it again and they said they r bankrupt and they never give my money back!!! now when i go on line on their side i see just kitchen goods... it makes my more * *** You are too late with refund..... It happened to me same in Jan 2013... Flight cancelled & etc.... I did call my Bank ( credit card ) and cancelled payment &.... I go my money back.. all !!! Keep in mind - Bank what you dealing with must be from USA or Germany but NOT from Ukraine !!! At this time I think it's too late to file refund any way.. 30- to 90 days there is window** to do so.. hi guys, Im in the same position as you. i booked via an agency called bravofly and then they cancelled my flight. i bought a new ticket for 1,000 Euro and it was in january. The agency told me that i would get those money back during 6 months, but now it has been 9 months since... lets kollekts signatures i guess? or maybe we can sue the company? what are the chances? someone is a lawyer here?

You can go on their website and find a claim but, honestly, I have filed two of them and have even obtained the claim number saying that I was entitled to the full refund and that it would be processed but I have received no further response past that point despite many follow ups. Lost £750 through this company. They cancelled our flights a week before we were due to go travelling and said we would get a refund but by the sounds of what everyone is saying, its unlikely to happen. The horrible thing is that apparently our flight was still going on so I don't know why they even cancelled it :-( Never again!

Last time I had a chat with AeroSvit on May 29 2013... and I was told that they stopped doing any refunds... But there is no indication that i was ever started.... and they told me that they have no idea when they'll resume to pay customers back... My take on the conversation that they don't have any plans to do so... Unfortunately...

Their website is down again, and I guess it is now down for good. It seems like they used to hire their hosting from UkrTelecom, who is now hosting another site in the same IP address 213.186.119.42 (www.deshevle-net.com.ua), while the original virtual domain for aerosvit.com has been simply deleted. When attempting to access www.aerosvit.com, I get an error on the missing virtual directory and the deshevle-net icon instead. Oh well...

My flight was canceled in 2011 when the company was operating. I had to pay for a hotel and take another flight next day. Long months after that, I received a letter stating they decided to compensate me by paying my hotel expenses plus EUR 250. They asked my bank account number which I provided. During the whole process, they always insisted that the refund request was sent to the office in Riga, who actually made the bank transfers. However, I managed to find the phone number in Riga and they told me my refund needed an authorization from Kiev. I called at least twice a month ever since (summer 2012) until the company went bankrupt in the beginning of 2013. If I didn't get my money back with a flight canceled in 2011, I'm afraid everybody else is out of luck too. I was originally given case number 83076 and later 137560.

I have requested refund my and my family ticket (totally is 6 tickets) since end of Jan'13 per request no. 10653,10654, 10655, 10656, 10657, 10658 but didn't get any update on my refund status until now. I try to contact Aerosvit many ways and times. only one way I can get response is just only automatic email reply back/ Online call center also response as same as email. I have no idea how to follow up my payment back. pls let me know if anyone can get refund from Aerosvit. That would be very appreciated.

I did submit request for refund through the Aerosvit website on 06/08/2013, but we haven't gotten any response yet. As an Expedia customer, we purchased those tickets through Expedia. For this matter been an Expedia customer, I'm requesting the full refund from Expedia, but not from any other company. Moreover, it is your right to sue and open a case against any company you are working with and who lies to you and to your customers.

June 7, 2013 12:30PM (local time), we were ready to transfer using the flight I booked through Expedia.com. We tried to find a company named Aerosvit where we had our reservation to check-in, but an information airport service in Boryspil airport told me that the Aerosvit company got bankruptcy and nobody was responsible for their flights. So, I was really disappointed. We were in a strange foreign country. We didn't know where to go. Thankfully, we met people who helped me out. As a result, I would have to buy two railway tickets (I could email the tickets by request) and we got to Lviv the next day in a dirty low class train (June 7, 2013 at 12:30am local time) Just letting you know that all flights that Aerosvit got before now are managing by International Ukrainian Airlines, but they are not responsible for the previously made reservation with Aerosvit. The company Aerosvit exists here in Ukraine only on the paper. The airline company doesn't own any aircraft and nobody is responsible for previous reservation that have been done before. In order to fly back to Kiev, I would have to by a new ticket through Ukrainian International Airlines that flies now from Lvov to Kiev using the same timetable and schedule that Aerosvit did before.

I also had 2 flights to the US cancelled at a cost of over $1800 NZD. I can't find any information at all online about how to go about claiming a refund now that the website has gone down, but there must be some kind of avenue for dealing with this kind of thing? It's a huge amount of money that people have lost in a puff of smoke. We are also waiting for our refund, without getting any information fr om Aersosvit. The flight was cancelled and we didn't get any information about it. When I sent an email they wrote back like this... "Good day, The flights have been cancelled. In order to get a refund, fill the application form in on the main page of our web site." Does anyone know how to get in Contact with them, they should pay back 911 US Dollar. Our flight was cancelled 3/2-2013 and we had to buy two new tickets to go home which was even more expensive. I am waiting for refund which over 3,000$. I asked for refund from the airline since January and they responded that I will receive my refund in next month. But until now, nothing response to me. The head office in Thailand was closed, and I cannot contact the main office in US also. Worst airline I ever met.

These are flights that we were forced to take this week for EURO 2012 due to a lack of airline competition in Ukraine. I know you know this but service was truly awful, all flights were late, gate changes made without explanation, no explanation for late flights, horrible attitude by staff....etc., etc. Bottom line...we demand all of our money back as compensation. We are willing to go all the way with this claim. We have access to the best US-Ukrainian lawyers. No excuses. When service is lousy in civilised countries, the at-fault party has to pay compensation.

I wish to submit a claim incurred because of the delayed flight AEROSVIT VV 132 (JFK, US to Kiev, Ukraine) and AEROSVIT VV 131 (From Kiev to JFK, US). This delay along with poor coordination by Aerosvit staff resulted in one night spent at JFK (23 hour delay) and an 21 hour delay in Kiev. In coordination to this, I missed one day of my vacation and one scheduled work day. I demand compensation for the money I spent on my wasted vacation day and for the money I lost from my missed worked day. (+ $$ SHUTTLE FROM JFK TO PHILLY) There is also a moral compensation I should receive with knowing that I was riding an airplane that had arrived broken and left with a brief fix. I am more so absolutely appalled at the treatment I received on the flight home. Instead of letting the passengers know that the plane would be delayed 21 hours and giving us a place to sleep, Aerosvit told us the plane would take off every hour for the entire day. Aerosvit failed its duty to me as a paying customer and passenger.

An interesting and epvcridtise post. I hear these stories every single day, an i don't even work for an airline or the airport industry.The experience you went through definitely should not have happened, nor to anyone else. As far as today's society dealing with such disorganization from a major airline and airport, which have been in business for countless decades, is very unacceptable from business itself. People purchase a service and expect to receive for what they pay for, or nonetheless, a bit more if the company in question cannot meet the original deal, but the lack of customer service and unable to resolve the situation in an suitable fashion created by the company like American Airlines just gives the customer less hope and more troubles to consider that company (AA) again.Sorry to hear about your chaotic day and i do hope you continue to fly with a travel agency and airline who have their * together from start to finish and satisfying the customer. After all, they have a business or job because of us travellers.

We would love to help you, and pay expensive plane tickets (look at how those expensive tickets in Poland, on LOT airlines, over the years have boosted that country's economy), but YOU HAVE BURNED US SO MANY TIMES -- and we are of your own blood, though born in faraway countries -- WE WILL NOT SUPPORT YOU for much longer. Clean up the stupidity on your only "official" airline, listen to the customers and make them feel good, and ESPECIALLY TALK TO THEM when they are worried, upset, hot, hungry -- and you will see incredible increase in profits and reputation. Just sayin'. (But then again, what do we from the diaspora know... you always think we are SOOOOO stupid.)

Awful communication with the costumer.I will never use it again.I ordered ticket online a week ago, but I can not still get the booking confirmation.therefore I need to call Ukrainian office, I m located in US,they have 8 hour time difference.so I have to wait for early morning or late night just to make a call.the company can not give such information with online support, and New York office can not help either, I still gave to call Kiev..like nightmare ..they charged my card,I still do not have ticket...awful This is about me.....Absolutely same * ....

booked to flyrom kiev to Gatwick turned with flight confirmation clearly staing date and time day2nd June 11.05 to be told no you fly tomorrow computer says so. When we pointed out that our flight was today ,we were told in a very surly manner You cannot change your ticket. actually we did not want to change our ticket We wanted to keep the ticket wehad booked ! Still in Kiev two taxi fares down and an extra days parking at Gatwick .subsitute the v for an h in AeroSvit and that will be about right

THEFT FROM SUITCASES IN KIEV AIRPORT I flew London Gatwick to Almaty Kazakhstan via Kiev in Ukraine on Aerosvit yesterday (2nd-3rd April 2011). VV 226 and VV 429 ETKT 8705104128610 I was travelling with 6 colleagues. Each of us experienced THEFT from hold luggage during transfer in Kiev. Cases were opened, money and jewellry stolen. On my bag, it is clear that someone moved the zip tags with padlock to the very end of the zip runner. Then the zip was forced open at the end behind the lock. The zip tags were then moved to the other end and the broken zip opened up. Afterwards, the person were able to re-zip and close the open zip back to the other end. It appeared untouched until close inspection. In my suitcase I was carrying a second smaller case. This was opened and not closed again. My belongings were in a mess. It was obviously searched. They did NOT steal the DVDs, coffee beans, cheese, PSP games or baby clothes. There was unfortunately money in a trouser pocket. This left me with a broken zip. Furthermore the case was damaged. It had obviously been mishandled. Material had been ripped and the extending handle was broken. I know that another collegue had money and a SIM card hidden inside a purse inside a leather case inside a smaller bag. This money was taken. Other thefts from colleagues included jewery, a camera and money. It is clear that there is a problem with airline staff or the ground staff at Kiev.
