I booked a ticket on 6E 389 from guwahati to chennai. it has one stop in Bangaluru with a layover of 35 minutes. Do I get off the plane once it lands in Bangaluru and again go through a security check?

Hi, I am a frequent flier on Indigo. The route I fly the most are always full in Indigo flights. And their prices are always sky high in this route. THe route is fr om Bangalore to Bhubaneswar. The only factor behind the sky rocketing price is there are no other airlines operating in this route. Its not a decision that I am writing but this is the major public opinion I hear from my fellow colleagues / passengers. If you search on the Indigo portal about the cost of a flight within 1-2 duration from the current day of search to popular routes like Mumbai then the cost will be almost less than 50% than that of BLR-BBI. What public is failing to understand is, despite of the fact that this route is always booked but still the prices never climb down. not even during the times wh ere crude oil / barrel in international market have fallen down to their knees. Secondly, the most complaining part in Indigo we hear is about the cabin crew. "the primary purpose of the 'cabin crew' is to ensure your safety during the times of accidents whenever they happen". But in indigo flights it seems like the cabin crews are on loose to sell out the merchandise. let it be the pathetic sandwiches or boasting about their no time service or their number of flights they have reached. common, don;t you guyz understand about the customers need. they need some peace. some rest not ur * selling on the time. let it be ur company slogan or the pathetic sandwich you sell. I bet indigo that you do a customer survey in the route BLR-BBI, then you understand how much the customers hate you. dont misinterpret the fact that the customers are travelling on your flight means they are really happy. the day they have a second choice then you see the results for your self.

Indigo airlines india is the worst airlines in the entire world. They dont have good staff. All the staff have been trained by indigo to cheat their customers. All they need is to loot the money from the customers. They find all the possible ways to cheat. I advise all the new airline companies not to follow the system of Indigo. My sincere request to all new airlines not to recruit any body from Indigo. I am waiting for the day eagerly when they are going to be bankrupt and leave the business. Please guys dont * your time and nerves by flying in such a disgusting and horrible airlines in the entire world.

As the Indigo airline is growing older, its staff is getting arrogant and started thinking that they are above customers. This airline knows just to boast about their achievements and is a big zero when it comes to customer satisfaction. I had to board the flight 6E166 from Bangalore to Ahmedabad on 16 Nov 2014 and had to throw away part of my luggage as it exceeded by 3kgs. I had two tickets and and had lighter cabin bags, but the lady at the counter was so arrogant that, I had to repack all my luggage and throw away part of it. The same luggage I carried from Kochi on a Jet airways flight and there was no fuss about it. I had similar experiences with Indigo flight earlier too. These guys are just interested to take every extra bit of money from customers. They server cold food and you always need to pay extra for it. The seats are so cramped that any tall person has to sit like a rat. Never provides any reading material. Over and above you have to tolerate the arrogance and high headedness of every staff especially the ones sitting at the boarding counter. I won't fly this airline ever again if there is an alternative. They are smart to get the right schedules, hence people have no option but to travel by it even if they don't like. Pls don't fly this airline if there is another one available. The fall of any business starts when pride gets into the heads of people running it. Indigo won't be an exception.

I had quite the experience with Indigo airlines headed from Kathmandu, Nepal to Delhi, India. So much so that I felt the need to write a well detailed blog as to why I wouldn't take Indigo again. My first and hopefully last negative review I will ever post - but so necessary to share with others looking to fly Indigo! giveforgranted.com/2014/09/indigo-indi-n...

YOU SAID IT RIGHT. THE WORST AIRLINE OPERATING NOW".......... Guest : I have never had a more miserable experience than with Indigo Airlines, and I am telling you even if it's the cheapest flight find another airline. They are an absolute disaster fr om top to bottom, and have no concern whatsoever about their customers. Really the only thing they care about is money, and they will do anything they can to scam you. I could tell from the first time I talked to them that customer service wasn't their priority but I had no idea what was to come. I arrived in Delhi about 2 hours before my flight was scheduled to take off from Delhi to Srinagar. I wasn't familiar with the Delhi Airport (which is huge by the way) and had to wait to deliver a bag of English books I had brought for a poor school in Kashmir to a man affiliated with the school. Despite this, I was still able to switch terminals on time to wh ere my Indigo flight was located. In fact, I was in the correct terminal almost an hour before my flight was scheduled to take off. There was a long line, which was expected, but I pleaded with the Indigo staff to let me get ahead, explaining that I had to have my bags checked 45 minutes prior to the flight. They outright ignored me, and when they did pay a little attention they told me there was nothing they could do and I would be fine. Anyway, I still managed to arrive at the check-iin desk about 46 minutes before my flight. The lady working there ignored me for a whole minute or two and then took care of someone else standing nearby until it became 43 minutes before my flight. At which point the lady working at the desk turns to me and tells me I'm late for my flight and she can't check the bag in for me. I was a bit taken aback and explained to her the situation. She said she didn't care and there was nothing she could do. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I immediately go over to the "Customer Service Desk" to find a group of several other customers complaining about the same exact situation that happened to them. I finally get to the front of the line, am still about 35 minutes before my flight is scheduled to take off, and explain to the girl working there. She says, "Sorry I can't do anything about that. We have no flights until four days later and you will be charged as a no-show and will have to purchase another flight." I have flown all over the world and for several years and on a million different airline companies, but I had never seen anything like this. I pleaded with her, begged her, told her that I had no place to stay, knew nobody in the country, and had to be in Kashmir to meet this guy who was taking me to this poor school that I was going to volunteer at and bring supplies to. The lady merely told me she didn't care and then proceeded to completely ignore me. When I asked for a manager she said there was none. When I asked for a complaint form she said I had to look up how to do it myself. When I finally gave up, about 15 minutes still until my flight was supposed to take off, she wouldn't even help me get someone to let me out of the airport terminal. As I have said, I have flown a lot and have never missed a flight in my life. I will never forget my Indigo experience but not for good reasons. This is a company that doesn't care about you, simply put. They are interested in one thing: money. And guess what they got that from me. But they will never get my service again. Good business model to build on.

Indigo airline is NOT an airline you want to fly especially international. Big marketing and no basic standard service. Guess it is run by frauds. This means not safe.

I flew using indigo airlines yesterday (12 may 2013), the checkin process and all done by 1910 hours i was waiting to board the flight which was supposed to take off at 2040 hours, we get an update @ 2015 hours that the flight has been delayed by approx 2 hours and will now fly at 2210 ( it eventually flew at 2230), i made my way to the counter asking them to let me know the reason and if they can reimburse my meal coupons or give teh meal to me on ground (already booked in advance for eating in the flight as it is my normal dinner time) as i am hungry and as they have delayed the flight for more than 1.5 hours i might as well use the time finishing my dinner ( i got the strangest most arrogant reaction from the ground staff saying we will do no such thing as it is not company policy, i guess delaying the flight is company policy but not ensuring that the customers are taken care of) on demanding them to cancel my on flight meal and reimbursing the same so that i can eat the same they refused the same and said even that is not company policy! ! I moved from the counter and got y dinner and came back to the counter at the time of boarding, and asked the manager to give me the number of the Gm of customer service and was refused any access to the mail id or contact number i asked him to compensate me for the meal which i will not consume on the flight as i have already had dinner he said i can't do that but you send a mail to our customer service department, i said it is not fair that i should follow up with your company for compensation for services not consumed because of their faults. he said that that is what i have to do and he will do nothing else i lost me temper and told him that the quality of customer care and handling of their airlines is becoming worse everyday to which he in the most aggressive manner threatened me that do what you can and dont mess with me i will get you thrown out ( i wonder for how long such attitude will let them survive)
