This is not the LOT carrier' site here, but the discussions on the services of the LOT air carrier. If there is no flight information (e-ticket number / reservation number, date , destinations/ origin / name), noone is able to reply without the correct data and the full data. In order to get the correct reply, kindly attach the reservation / booking number and / or produce air carrier / date / fllight number / airports / your name at least. Requests on refund must produce full name, reservation / e-ticket and email address of the passenger in the attachment. The reply can be handlled within 48 hours - 144 hours by free staff in English. We are anxious to fly with LOT Polish Airlines. Booked through third party and waiting for confirmation from LOT PA for a Fall 2017 trip; Chicago to Bucharest, Munich to Chicago. We aren't sure how to get confirmation of flights and seat assignments requested. The airline has great reviews overal and we look forward to a different travel experience. JD

This is the thief airline. During the change of the flights in Warsaw my luggage was opened and 4 items of expensive make up were stolen.I will never use this airlane

Alla and Alex : IF YOU CAN AVOID LOT, PLEASE DO!!! This is the worst airline ever: On September 28th at 8pm my husband and I were scheduled to depart from Toronto and travel to Israel (scheduled to arrive Sept 30 at 4am local time) with one scheduled stop in Warsaw. We arrived at the airport for 5pm to check in. By 8pm no announcements had been made in terms of any delays but our flight was not being boarded. The flight crew was 15 minutes late. When travelers started making inquiries it was announced that repairs (presumably mechanical) were being made to the plane and it would be delayed for at least another hour. Boarding was not announced for our flight until 11 pm, once the flight was boarded we spent another hour in the plane waiting for the flight to take off. Sometime midway through the flight, it was announced that the plane was having issues with its transponder and that an emergency landing was being made in Iceland (around 8am local time). Upon arriving in Iceland, no food or hotel vouchers were handed out, and no information was provided as to next steps for at least an hour. Between my husband and I, we spent no less than $70 on food, coffee and water while waiting at the airport. Food vouchers were not provided until 2pm - about $15 per person which was not enough to buy much more than a drink and sandwich with the astronomical prices at the airport. Information about the flight to Warsaw was not provided for 3-4 hour after landing, with no definitive instructions as to when another plane would be available. Because of these issues we missed the day that we planned to spend in Warsaw and also the connecting flight from Warsaw to Tel-Aviv, Israel. Once we finally arrived in Warsaw we were thankfully given hotel, taxi vouchers and boarding pass to Tel-Aviv through Moscow. In Moscow we spent roughly another 4 hours at the airport and another $100 between the two of us for food (no vouchers were provided). From Moscow we finally caught a flight to Tel-Aviv, arriving in Israel 20 hours later than expected - 12am local time on Oct 1. On the 30th we had a scheduled day trip across Jerusalem ($120/person) that we missed because of these delays. Overall we were extremely disappointed with the service received - 3 lay overs instead of the scheduled 1 - and the lack of communication between the airline and travelers. We missed 2 days of our trip and spent over $170 in food during the layovers in 3 different countries; however, this does not even compare to the stress caused by these delays to ourselves as well as the family and friends that was expecting to receive us in Israel and took time off from work. Lot refused to pay any expenses!!! I strongly suggest not using this airline!!! The mechanical dificulties can be in all ailines in a world, The one thing that is bad is you haven't got vouchers but because of the technical dificulties, the flight was only delayed. I bet if the flight will be canceled, you are so much * . I VERY LIKE Lot because it is the airline of my contry - Poland and the pilots (I always am talking with them) are ALWAYS super! So if you think something worse about LOT, just think about and do not insult it.

The one correction: This information has some mistakes. LOT doesn't use 737-500s and 767-300s and it looks like the main hub of LOT is Krakow John Paul II, but the main hub is Warsaw Frideric Chopin so I think it has to be put as the first.

This is the worst airline ever. I flew with my 16 month old son and my fiancé from Poland back to Chicago... The flight was ten hours long.. As they were passing out food they denied my 16 month old a five dollar meal because they said we should have bought him a seat if we wanted him to have a meal.. If we didn't not buy him a seat he doesn't eat... I was so upset.. We spend about 3200 on round trip tickets and this airline denied a baby of a five dollar meal.. And the polish flight attendant said she's mad cause we won't giver her baby food and the other flight attendant said "good"! I will never fly this airline again !

Last year my mom was flying trought Lot airline from Belgrade to Chicago. When she came to Warsaw her flight was delay for believe or not 2 days! I decide to give them another shut and few days ago i was flying from Chicago to Belgrade. That was absolutely the worst flight experience that i ever had. First awal they was doing much better job then year ago when my mom was flying and delay was for only 2 hours. When ever you try to talk to LOT staff they was very rude and unfriendly, i was feeling that they are paying me to fly. Airplane was outside and waiting for passengers, but staff outside was laughing and basically making a party for themselfs while everyone else was trying to find out what is going on. Than we were finally start to boarding into the plain. I was thinking worst is past and now finally i am going on my trip. But actually that waiting was the best part of the trip. Staff in the airplane was much more ruder than staff outside unless you are Polish. First one Polish lady is took my seat, staff started to blaim on me why am i standing and why am i trying to sit on the seat that i paid for. Than they found another seat for me and i finally got seat, not mine but i was siting. During the trip nobody from staff was asking me or any other person who is not from Poland do we want do drink or eat anything. If u ask tham, they are looking to you with so * facial expression that you just feel uncomfortable. As fact one amployee was coughing on all food and drink that he was serving, i understand everyone can get sick and not feel good, but why they are leting guy to serving a food like that. Of course when i came to Warsaw my other flight for Belgrade was gone. Then it was drama at airport how to get a new flight. After spending at least an hour waiting for very small line of maybe 3 or 4 people in front of me i finally got Austrian airline for first time. That was different storie and everything was just fine and very profesional. So guys avoid LOT airlines unless you are Polish or you do not care will you come on time on your finall destination.
