Hello, I am not satisfied with the service given by Lion airline. We often faced with delayed flight and this is very unacceptable. Just today (10/1/18) on my way back from Medan (Kuala Namu) to Penang with the flight of JT 013*, we should be on flight at 16:00 WIB but you guys delayed it to 18:00. My nephyew was waiting for us there and he was not free because he had a meeting later. Not just that, they didn't inform about changing the room number which caused everyone were rushing. As a passenger of Lion Airline. I do hope that you can change YOUR ATTITUDE in caring your passenger. IF YOU SAY ABOUT ANY OPERATION PROBLEM, then tell me why must be every single time when I am using your airline service? Don't make it into a trend thank you so much. I fly Thai Lion Air almost every month since 2015. Now departure times have been changed and they don't want to give a full refund even though they can sell ticket for a much higher fare during holiday period. I am denied to talk to a supervisor or manager. Had enough of Thai Lion Air. I used to be very happy with them.
Thai Lion is very unprofessional and had very uneduxated staff who couldnt read a medical certificated where we can to carry injection in nice pack ans denied us boarding because that lady couldnt understand. Worst worst staff impoliet and did nothing to help us. We were a frequent flyer and even though we went through this incident. Never never travel.with this stupid airline.
Lion Air lost my luggage during the flight IW 1831 from Labuan Bajo to Denpasar Bali on the 14th April 2017. I completed the Property Irregularity Report at the airport, but I do not have any news.I called several times to the different airports but they cannot answer me. It is NOT POSSIBLE to loose a luggage in a direct flight and NOT TO HAVE ANY NEWS ABOUT! It means that Lionair does not have any tracing for the boarded luggages?!!

Thai Lion Air - I didn´t feel safe at all. May 17. 2016. Flight no. SL 601. Trip fr om Udon Thani to Bangkok and return to Udon Thani, later the same day. From Udon Thani the plane was delayed 15-20 minutes. Ground crew was handling the call of passengers very poorly, it all seems very unorganized, which may be the reason for the delay - i don´t know. The take off was was done with very very high speed and for a long time before actually leaving ground, and then proceed like a raket - straight up. From Bangkok - the same took place. From terminal tree busses were filled with passengers. The last bus was not there on time so we waited about 10 min. before it arrived. All passengers in bus, and then wait another 5-10 min. in bus before the driver finally returned. All passengers in plane, and it was full. Ready to take off. Fasten seatbelt. An old male passenger just got out of his seat, and ran to toilet just before taking off. The crew complained him because he did not luck the toilet door. He got back and the plane started to go down the runway. You could see bad weather on the way - when you looked out of the window to one side of the plane the sky was * grey / black. When you looked to the other side of the plane the sky was crystal clear light blue with a strong sun. Down the runway with full speed, and for a very long time.... so long that I felt soon we are going out of runway, and with a very very high speed. You could feel the plane moving from side to side, like the pilot did not had full control of the plane. And finally the plane took off like a raket straight up in the air. After a few minuts you felt the plane dropped quite a bit, and then continued straight up like a raket. I felt something was very very wrong ! Me and many other passengers looked very nervous, and hold on to our loved ones and the seat in front. An older woman started to pray. I thought of a old friend of my parents - he did the same process when taking off in his private plane, very often when he worked as a professionel photographer and pilot. He always wanted to rush home to his wife. But one day it went wrong - very wrong and he crashed a few minuts after taking off. There was a "hole" and a very strong wind going down in the air. He died right there. Back to my trip from Bangkok to Udon Thani - We finally came to cruise attitude and the ride was calm. Passengers started to relax. Half way to Bangkok the captain said something in thai. Long talk but i don´t understand thai. Later there were a few words in english witch nobody could hear - poor quality and low voice. We finally arrived close to distanation and started to decent. After some minutes the plane put wheals on ground but again with a very high speed, and plane moving from side to side. Same like when arriving in bangkok. I felt quite nervous - will the plane crash ? Speed of the plane came down and we arrived at gate - safely. Passengers started to get up. But nothing happened. After a few minutes the crew announced in thai, that because of heavy cargo, the passengers could not leave the plane before some cargo was removed - for safety reasons. It took 15 minutes wh ere passengers could look at ground crew unloading the plane. Then finally we could leave the plane. I have been flying for many years, and in many different countries, but never in my life have i experienced anything like this. The trip really felt unsafe !!! So for my part and for the safety of my family - never again - Thai Lion Air. Everything looked and seemed unorganized. Regards

Worst airline , even before 20 minutes to flight they did not let me sit in aircraft meanwhile there was announcement by them as final call for people who were traveling with that airline in same flight . They did not provide any vehicle to me to reach to my aircraft and later they said you missed the flight, worst attitude and bad customer service .they straight forward refused to replace my flight or refund me , I had to cancel everything of my plan due to ter worst services and it cost me to stay one more day on my own expenses and had to buy ticket too , so I would suggest not to travel with this airline , even I am still wondering about my luggage .

My advice is avoid Lion Air - I and many others have been ripped off from their unethical treatment of customers and Lion Air have a shocking Health & Safety record. We booked return tickets for our family 4 months prior to departure last year for Jakarta to Semerang and return as part of our New Zealand to Indonesia trip. Unfortunately we had to cancel 3 months before departure - Lion Air would only refund 50% of the full ticket price we had paid and advised us there was a 50% cancellation fee - what a rip off and exorbitant charge! 2.5 months of questioning/ asking for what costs such an early cancellation incurred were met with non-replies/ stalling/ 2 line non-descriptive replies. No wonder Lion Air is in financial crisis - a text book case on how to rip off/ ignore/ poorly treat and lose customers. DAMAGED BAGS, DAMAGED LUGGAGE, THEY DON'T CARE!!! Just flew from Chiang Rai to Bangkok, and I would not suggest Lion Air to anybody (unless you are okay with having your baggage mutilated). Both our bags' handles were broken and the bags were full of scars. Customer service was pathetic and tried to give us a 200 baht compensation. We have 3 more flights in schedule, thanks to Lion Air staff who throw your luggage around carelessly, we now have to buy new bags and repack in a rush, or try to wrap and patch and hope our bags survive the next flight.
The worse airline ever I flew twice with this airline, both times a huge delay the second time over 5 hours, and when I arrived I had to see that they handled my luggage very bad and the metal body of the luggage have been broken at the first flight with one luggage and at the second flight one month later with the second luggage. I complained and gave to their office both luggages. They delivered one luggage kind of repaired and with just a fingertip the repairs part was broken again. This happen three times! And after the third time giving back the luggage no reaction anymore. from the first luggage no sign at all anymore. Unbelievable!

Guest : I have had an email from Lionair saying my flight has been cancelled. They have not replied to any emails. Hello, I am trying to book tickets from Kravi to Bangkok, I tried many time, but I can not finish even first step. It keep saying ,,Travel insurance is not applicable for non Lion Air flights'' what thats mean?
I will not book a Lion Air flight for my family and I again as we booked +4 months in advance and had to cancel booking - Lion Air refused to refund 100% of booking and charged an exorbitant 50% cancellation fee despite us cancelling +4 months before the flight dates. Very unreasonable and despite numerous emails refused to give reasonable justification for such a high fee + 4 months out from the flight dates. Beware as quite unethical/ unreasonable in fee charging - my family and I will never use them again as very poor customer focus/ quite unreasonable.
My wife and I took Lion Air from Jakarta (CGK) airport to Solo (SOC) few days ago on Flight #JT 0536. Both of us have been travelling using airplane for more than 30 years; only this time we had unpleasant experience. The time we boarded the plane, air-conditioning was not on, just fan, while the plane was sitting on the tarmac in about 90F or about 32C sunny weather. I asked the flight attendant if and when the A/C will be turned on. She mentioned that it will be on the time when the plane is taking off which was another 45 minutes from boarding (about 25 minutes delay). The air in the plane was so stuffy and many people were fanning themselves with anything they could find. After the plane took off, the A/C was still not on. When asked, the flight attendant mentioned that it would be turned on when the plane reached the cruising altitude. Plane was flying with no A/C for about 30 minutes after took off, and when it was turned on it was so low that I still had to fan myself in order to get some air for another 30 minutes until the plane landed. I thought I would not make it to Solo without having to use the oxygen available on board. That might be the last time I took Lion Air travelling anywhere. I certainly hope that no one has to experience what I had.

Dear Lion airline, Monday the 3th of August I tried to book a flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai online for me and 3 other friends. When I realized at the end of the booking, when I had to pay that I forgot my Code of my Mastercard I didn't entered the code and decided to go to the airport and book it there. When I arrived this morning at the airport in Bangkok I went to your ticket sales point at the aiport of Bangkok, explained the problem and I booked and payed the same flight I intended to book the night before on my phone. The girl gave us the tickets and we arrived in Chiang Mai Around 12:10 pm. When I arrived at my accomodation I charged my phone and I just went online to check my mail. In my mail I saw a conformation of the flight that I intended to book on my phone but didn't book. Instead I booked the same flight in the airport of Bangkok. Because of the 2 mails you sent me, one profile regestration and one trip reminder, I think there could be a double booking. If this is the case, what do I have to do to get my money back? I booked Thai Lion Air Udon Thani to Don Mueang. Much later I received email saying the flight had been cancelled and they put me on the next one later in the day. That flight is still on their website and they are still selling tickets for it, so will buyers be told after purchase, that it is cancelled? Is this some kind of scam? I had to buy a Thai Airways ticket as the enforced change meant I would miss my connection.
if you a foreigner or a transit flight ... don't use this airplane !! this airplane is strictly for people who could handle delay until 5 hrs ... :) and don't expect any refund or feedback from them ... it will be impossible .... :)

Yeasterday i talk to lionair again, they said first they will talk to the transportcompany, later same day thay say they will wait for next transport to Tulungagung. When they did not now..so today i got a friend to pick it up and take it here. When we open the bag several object was missing, cash, samsung pad, suvenirs, and the lock was gone. But they had put strips on the zippers. So now i will call them tomorrow and ask them what they will do about it. Will contune to tell you what they answer and what will happen.
do not fly with this airline company ! We had a trip some days ago from KL to saurabaya tru jakarta, Yes delayed. Why maybe they was waiting for other passanger, becourse it come on four passanger on after sitting 30 min in the plain. and then the flight was already 40 min delayed. And yes the seat was chanced and several discussion with passanger and crue. After take off i did not see any crue in plain and the cockpitdoor opent and closed many time. Maybe the female crue like the captain more than the passanger? After landing in surabaya yes a suitcase was missing, suprise. They call us after four hour and told us to come and get it at airport, but we was almost in tulungagung in taxi. And i was not interested to sit four more hour in a taxi, and pay for it. This was at 01.30am and i told them to send it to the adresse we gave them in the missing report. Day after they call us and say the suitcase was sendt. So they did the day after that day, after 3 days we call lion air and ask for the missing suitcase, now they say they will call back. You thing they have call back?? If we see the missing suitcase or money for it, I DONT BELIVE IT.

Assalamualaikum wr wb. In the last month 2014, I ever have a problem with lion air. When I gonna to Bali from Jakarta. I wait 3 hours for delay. Ok I accept abouit it. But, when I gonna back to Jakarta from Bali (denpasar) I late a few minutes for check in. I can't to join flight.Though I know that the aircraft has not flown. Thanks lion air for your service. Slow and Bad service totally especially fr om the duty managet at terminal 1b soekarno hatta on 18 feb 2015 X I fly from singapore to jakarta, and they make me paid "airport tax" thats supposed to be starting in 1 March 2015. But now is only 17th feb, wh ere is the logic in that?? Then my connecting flight jakarta-bengkulu in 17th feb 2015 was delayed from 12.50pm to 6.45 pm. It Will reach bengkulu approx 8pm. And as my hometown was another 4 hours drive from bengkulu, and have to go through the mountain roads, i am Forced to stay overnight in jakarta and changed my flight to the 8am of 18th feb. The office and counter staff told me when i check in for my flight they will give me something as they make me stay overnight and have to reschedule my travel. The morning come and the duty manager denied there is such a thing at all and even give me a stare!! You make people travel plan failed, promised me and yet cannot carry it out and add it with such an attitude. My family is not taking another lion air again. Super Bad service!!!

I really not recommend anyone to take Lion air. The staff awareness to your satisfaction is really really bad. They not take care of your luggage properly. Really not recommended.
It turns out that I am not the only victim of this airline. My flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore was cancelled and what the airline did to inform me was to send me an email in Indonesian (not English) and the content was just like this: "Yth VU TRUONG GIANG NGUYEN Penumpang Lion Air Keberangkatan dari Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - Singapore, Singapore tanggal 07 Okt 2014 JT 0157 Berubah menjadi dengan JT Untuk Informasi lebih lanjut Anda dapat menghubungi 021 63798000, Terima Kasih." I got skeptical and had to call their hotline to confirm. They told me the flight route has been terminated. I had no choice but to book my last-minute flight with another airline, then visited their ticket office to demand a refund. The counter staff promised refund within 1 month. One month passed and nothing. I made several calls to their hotlines just to receive repeated answers that the refund is still being processed. Asked again and they said 90 days to process the refund, NOT 1 month. I even emailed all of their customer service emails and as I guessed, all of my emails are totally ignored. Now it's only 10 more days to reach the 90 days they said. Still no sign of my refund. Am I considered lucky to be scammed only SGD90 and only booked a one-way ticket? This is the worst airline in the world.
LION AIR, is just a typical SCAM !!!! They got the money from my account , but i never had the ticket ..i tried to call their help desk no answer, after several times , a lady "apparently at home" answered but didn't speak English at all , and eventually she simply hang up.. 100% money lost.. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM , do not recommend to anyone....

why can I not use my USA credit card when purchasing a ticket?
Lion Air Thai took the money from my bank and declined my plane ticket. I bought a round trip ticket yesterday, and payment was made immediately after. Bank account verified the transaction completed. One day after, I receive an email stating my payment has been declined. I never received a plane ticket and I never receive a refund. I sent email the next day, no response from Thai Lion Air. I called the Thai Lion Air office and waited 14 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Finally, the response on phone is my payment has expired. What does that mean? The money was deducted already! Long story short - Lion Air Thai scammed me out of 2,500 baht, and pretended nothing ever happened; I bought another round trip ticket from Airasia. Don't get suckered by this airline. You will be lucky if everything goes well and you get your flight tickets. Lion Air Thai is too risky, and no customer support. Proceed at your own risk! I'll never do business(fly) with this airline again...
The worst ever. Received an email that my flight is cancelled from Jakarta to Bangkok and back. Called and was given the round about. Absolutely incompetent. Told to go into the head office for a refund that will take over a month to process. How do one be proud of working with such a bad company all around. Never again will I ever consider Lion Air.
I bought tickets through the website www.lionairthai.com issued them at Maxim and Anton, but after finished booking website change Anton to another name (MUFVUL). It looks like a bug on website, but company no want to change passenger name. Be Careful using website for buy tickets. As for me I will no longer use the services of the airline.
My first time and never will I try again. 1) I'm definitely at airport on time 2) at the check in I get a boarding pass printed out I see on it my name and a seat number. 3) then for some reason my boarding pass is not given and a staff comes to "help" I think he's helping to get me to the gate 4) then I'm told they can't get me on the flight and to be wait listed on the next one (which I can board 30 mins before departure) but for some reason I can't get on my own flight? - conclusion: sounds like they sold my ticket to someone else - they refuse to show me my boarding pass before as well
My 9yo daughter and I returned to jkt from Sing with flight no JT 157 on july 12, we checked-in quite early so we can get front seat, and we got 6E & 6F. But when we boarded to the plane, we found out that our seats have been given to other passengers by the flight attendant, named Sila septiani. And she suggested us to sit separately. She said 'It's okay' How come it is okay, so what's the point of checking early, and a flight attendant can move all the passengers as she like in lion air? So dissapointed flying with lion air
We booked a return flight KUL to BKK with Thai Lion Air. first, the flight time was changed. Then, A few days ago, a staff from lion air called to say our flight has been cancelled. No explanation was given but we already had accommodation booked and were meeting family that meant their offers would not work. They duly said we would be refunded within 45 days. I have sent multiple emails and tried to call them. Nothing. I will not fly with this airline again.Please reply.
We don't even have a chance to experience on their flight. However, it is a hassle already when Lion Staffs and Lion Manager names Rama take our unfortunate become their fortunate. We booked the air tickets online for our family's 5 days holiday trip to Singapore and Malaysia. Our unfortunate was one of our member passport only valid 5 months from the expiration date. And under their regulation, they need at least 6 months in order to board. They were happy to charge both way tickets 90/90 percent from all of tickets after ask us to wait 6 hrs at the airport and also ask us to wait 4 days for their result if they would or would not charge the way back. We are 100% sure they have sold our seats to other passengers already. We lost 900 USD over 3 tickets that not even printing from their machine. Despite bad Lion airline service, all of our booking with Lego Land resort in malaysia and Marina Bay Sands Singapore were cacelled without any charge after we explained to them the reason we did not show. They were understand our unfortunate event and would happy to serve us the possibly stay in the future. We would not recommend Lion airline service.

I've managed to secure a 2-way flight in November 2013 for a flight to Thailand, coming 12 Apr. 2014. The flight was confirmed, and I've made full payment. Today, Lion Air emailed me saying my return flight is cancelled and next available possible option is to travel back on 18th April when I'm suppose to return on 14th Apr! Who is gonna pay for my hotel and food? Called to the customer service for 3 times. They told me I can op for an earlier flight back which will take me 8 hrs instead usual an hour flight! Now I hope my flight to Thailand won't be delayed. That will be a full blown and killer for this trip. DON'T EVER FLY LION AIR. NOOOOooo. No matter what offer of how much cheaper it is, so not worth going through and possible killing your trip. Good luck guys!
Absolutely the worst! Avoid completely. I tried flying on Thai Lion Air and they tried to cheat me on the fare. After 2 months there is still no resolution. Their staff is totally useless and rude. Thai Lion Air has recently attempted to compete with other LCAs in Thailand like Air Asia and Nok Air. With this kind of customer relations, they should be out of business quite soon... and good riddance.

My husband's flight from Jakarta to Singapore was supposed arrive at 8am (Singapore time) and at 830am he had not even boarded the plane yet! He had been at the airport since 4am for check in and the only thing the ground staff could tell him was "stand by boarding" and that was for nearly 2 hours! He had been at the airport for 4 hours before finally boarding. The only 'compensation' they received was a piece of hard bread as a snack. His flight to Jakarta had also been delayed. After so much feedback about delays, it seems like nothing much is being done about this issue.
Your sister company Malindo Air is not standardize in terms of the selection of staff. WHY there was no other races in this company? Are you electoral races? I hope you can eradicate this problem as soon as possible. You can achieve a level of excellence when overcome this problem.
None picks up the phone in 'supposed to be' 24 hours customer service, regardless the timing, both AM or PM.
whenever possible dont ever use lion air. Very likely you'll get delayed or your baggage get lost! if you have time to burn and only have carry on baggage then its fine, otherwise DONT.
Please help Yesterday I July 6 after arrival Lion Air from LBJ-DPS received 3 bags. It was written protocol at the airport in Mataramu and since no one answered and not answering the phone. We are on vacation in Indonesia to Europe and now we have nothing (medicaments, diving equipment ....) and is very uncomfortable for us when we do not know what will happen next. It's unbelievable when the largest airline in Indonesia is not on their regular passengers take care of them or at least send a message. In the last over ten years, I have flew to more than 30 countries with various airlines, frankly speaking, lion air is the worst ever. My suitcase is seriously damaged during my flight from Jakarta to Singapore, their customer service replied only two months after I complained, and collected my suitcase for reparation. Although I emphasized again and again, my suitcase must be returned to me without further damages. And finally my suitcase came back complete DESTROYED! After over four months negotiation, they agreed a compensation plan of giving me a new baggage, and sent me a photo for approval. However, when their compensation baggage arrived, it was totally DIFFERENT from the photo they sent me, and it was terrible! Not to mention the frequent safety problems that happened with their aircraft. It is clear that lion air is a completely unprofessional and irresponsible company. Good luck to you and your belongings if you choose to fly with them. Btw, the original damage on my suitcase, a knife-cut hole in the front and the broken handle, was not an accident. I questioned the check-in staff of lion air at Jakarta airport about the airport tax, and they were apparently very unhappy being questioning. It is believed that the suitcase was broken deliberately and maliciously for this reason.
Flight supposed to depart at 9am. But was delayed and airline staff told me wrong boarding time, causing me to miss my flight and wanted to charge me extra for their mistakes when i requested to be on the next flight. The next flight was 4 hours later but at boarding time, airline staff informed of flight delay again! For another two hours!!!
I experienced bad service with lionair On my flight fr om sumatra to jakarta we had 45 minutes delay. My connecting flight to kuala lumpur was short due to leave and i was told to check in the flight despite not sure that my baggage would make it in the new plane also operated by lionair. I did no eceive any assistance wh ere my bags ended and once in kl i had to file a report for this irregularity. Lionair has not been able to reply to any email sent by the kl team of baggage office team that is expecting the baggages in kl from jakarta! The phone numbers of lionair are all ringing but no operator picks up throughout the day. The website is showing 'server' error anytime tou try to contact them in the contact us page. This has been one of the most unprofessional and awful airlines i ever flow with. Im not even sure tgat my baggage will ever make it back. Their recent crash in balinese water, amphetamine found among their pilots, website that do not accept foreign credit cards along with delay and missing baggage all point to one direction: dont fly this airline.
the seat was the most narrow seat it was uncomfortable . lot of delays .the flight attendant is not having attention to the passengers
Lion Air are * - what other so called leading airline company doesn't accept credit card payments from non-Indonesian issuers. And they are so useless they don't actually tell you that anywhere on their web site - but when you have been through all the hoops you get "Sorry. We were unable to get an authorization for your payment. Please verify your credit cards details and re-enter them below. " and you keep entering all the information correctly and still you get the same result. I complained last year and was promised it was being sorted. Bollocks!!
