Very Bad. Because of their incompetence rescue dogs flying to Sweden from Santorini were left at the airport and had to return to the shelter. How traumatic for dogs and guardians and the waiting families !!!! Lack of care all round ... FLY WITH SAS AT YOUR OWN RISK !
Appalling airline. Ignorant, couldn't-care-less staff and managers, unwilling to help stranded passengers with accommodation at any turn after THEY cancelled a flight..." we have offered you an alternative flight..." yeah - 5 hours earlier!! ..."or you can take the next day's flight"...with overnight accommodation at our expense. Abhorrent. Awful. Avoid.

August,9, 2015 SAS overbooked me and my daughter on SK 1624 fr om Dusseldorf. We were checked in but were stopped at the gate! SAS checked in and took our suitcases at the same moment and we have never seen those suitcases again... From this moment on SAS did not provide any help, service, food, overnight facilities or anything else! The only thing the handling agency did was offering another flight to Stockholm with Air Berlin. Thirteen hours delay before our final destination! No help whatsoever in Stockholm wh ere we arrived late at night.! So far even nobody had the idea to say:"Hay, we are very sorry. Can we do anything to repair the damage done?" Although we filed complaints several times SAS simply does send an automatic reaction stating that they are busy and nothing else! And they call the complaints-department CUSTOMER CARE!!!
I have tried to call SAS at 1-800-221-2350 to make reservations for eleven people. Unfortunately the phone line keeps going dead after I press for customer service.

I WAS THEN TOLD TO WAIT IN BRUSSELS OVERNIGHT TO CATCH A MORNING FLIGHT TO GOTHENBURG ON 20TH JULY ARRIVING AGAIN LATE. YOU PEOPLE HAVE WAISTED HALF OF MY HOLIDAY AND MY SON HAS HAD TO TRAVIAL DOWN FROM OSLO TWICE TO PICK ME UP. THE COST AGREED BY YOUR COMPANY TO PAY FOR A HOTEL IN GOTHENBURG WAS WASTED AS I DIDNT ARRIVE IN GOTHENBURG TO MAKE USE OF THE RESEVATION. I HAVE NOW BEEN INVOICED FOR THE HOTEL I DIDNT USE. IT HAS BEEN MOST FRUSTRATING OVER THE WEEKEND AS YOU DONT SEEM TO HAVE ANY STAFF ON DUTY ANYWERE OR AT ANY TIME. I made a reservation in September for MaY AND NOW THEY TELL ME I HAVE NO RESERVATION EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A RESERVATION BOOKING NUMBER AND SEAT ASSIGNMENT. tHEY SAID MY CREDIT CARD WAS DECLINED AND THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL. I CHECKED ALL MY OLD EMAILS AND NEVER RECEIVED ONE. also I CALL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY SAID THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE CHARGE. cALL CUSTOMER AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME. I AM SO MAD!
Have a very similar experience with SAS, flight Brussels-Stockholm. The attendant sat down with a friend/passenger and started complaining about her employer. Passengers had to wait for service while the attendant took about five minutes to finish her chat. Awful. I fly a lot and this was by far the worst. Plus I had over 1000 USD worth of stuff stolen out of my bag that I paid 150 USD for. Never again.

I have been trying to contact you for last week to cancel and rebook new flights due to emergency hospital treatment to our daughter meaning we needed to change flights. As a Norwegian..i have travelled with SAS many times... They are almost bankrupt... They are overpriced and has really bad service... They take charge for absolutely everything! And the planes are getting old! Within 2025 there wont be any SAS i think...
