There is a catch when you try to check in online with Air transat.
It will ask you for number of bags.
Once you mark down 1 bag it will automatically charge you excess fee of 90$. Even if your bag matches the size and weight .

I had gone for the Air Transat interview and had made it. After I had successfully completed their requirements, which were to get a physical check and uniform fitting finished. It had taken the company a month to notify me whether or not I have been successful, in which I was. They then proceeded to inform me that there were two scheduled classes that I can attend and to notify them before a certain time. I did all that was asked of me. I have not heard from them ever since and I was supposed to start my training on March 20th, 2023. I am very upset by how they didn't even send an apology or another date to attend. I feel very upset at the fact that I have worked for two different airlines that NEVER 'ghosted' me like Air Transat. This is extremely unprofessional and I would not even bother going through their long hiring process again. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!

My sister and I have traveled on your airline and we were both disgusted at the filth in your toilets the food I would not feed to a pig and the service of some of the hostess was obnoxious even the smell of your chicken and pasta was sickening and you lost me 9 days of my months holiday refusing to give my daughter the money she spent that I paid her back and on the home trip it was just as bad and my wheelchair in hold was stinking like urine when retrieved as it was lost on arrival we had no help at all but was ignored or given wrong Information we were totally disgusted and I have sent post out on my Facebook to warn others not to fly with your company

Airline should be investigated and/or regulated closer from consumer advocates, service is nin existing , flights close before their planned departure leaving passengers stranded .
Review and reconsider booking with this transat airlines buyer beware

Had a family vacation planned foe Nov 23. My husband had a minor heart attack on Nov 21 so he was not allowed to fly. We had to advise airline of the situation but i was still going to go on the trip. What does Air Transat do: They went and charged me an additional $290 for traveling as a single. We shouldn't have been so honest and just went to the airport and telling them I had no idea where he was.Then my husband would have just have being a no show and I would have save $290. richer. We were aware that there would be no refund from Air Transat for my husband which is fine because we had Travel Cancellation Insurance. But for Air Transat to charge me an additional $290 and keep all of my husbands fare as well is pretty bad. If they really needed to charge the $290 then they should have just taken it from my husbands fare.
So they got $1800 in pocket for my husbands fare, plus my $1800 plus an additional $290. For Shame, For Shame

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! No one returns my calls ! My luggage and my husbands is missing now for two days and no one has contacted me! I guess getting a lawyer or contacting every media outlet is the way I will have to go at this point

Letter in post to say booking or seat reservation not recorded for flightTS0822 return from Vancouver to Gatwick, Full flight, difficulties getting seats,worse still missing the flight or being separated,sorted,then our upgrade to Economy Extra in doubt,agreed at last minute.The food was minimal,hate to think what the non extras got. The cake/bread given before landing was awful. Stress levels very high!!!!!!!!.

we had a bad experience the air hostess started shouting at us and our 2 year old and grabbed her legs and pushed them down under the seat pointing at her and shouting she had not slept and was cranky but not the right way to go about it made a formal complaint nothing from air transat
