Have done engineering work for years on A300. Last one was deliverd around 2005 (if i remembered correctly). So the basic deisgn is about 30 years old (with 2 major updates to A310 and A300-600) but the interior could be quite new. I stopped working on them for about 5 years now but then the majority of the old planes go into Freighter.

had no idea this plane has been flying over 30 years! The American Airlines last flight of a300 Miami-San Juan on utube made it look like a new aircraft. WHere do tjey go now- into freight service for underdeveloped countries?
