January 28, 2026 Dear Airport Authority: This is an addendum to my letter titled "If you see something, say something" which I sent it out a few days ago. Furthermore, my view is just an opinion and observation which has come to my attention lately. Consequently, it felt incumbent upon me to share my experience and thoughts with you, and others. I appreciate you considering my input and feedback. I have reason to believe that some minor changes at the infrastructure of the airport will help and benefit airport and passengers alike. Just for the record, I have no vested business interest whatsoever other than purely altruistic motivation. I travel a lot and it has come to my attention that every time I am somewhere around the world, I always see people praying on the floor, me included. Please allow me to illustrate my point. Also, by no means, I am not trying to tell you what to do. I'm only shedding some light on a public issue of grave concern. Also, it is about being righteous and politically correct. The fact of the matter is that opening an OFFICIAL MOSQUE exclusively for Muslims demographics to pray in an international airport terminal is simple, doable, affordable, and very cost-effective. On top of it, it is sustainable, very low-maintenance, and above all, the financial return is huge. Much, much, bigger than a Starbuck, Dunkin Donuts, or a Pizza Hut, just to mention a few vendors. But it has to be OFFICIAL MOSQUE because as such the airport may advertise it on its webpage and hence target the Muslim audience. Think about it for a moment. First, from marketing point of view, it is a very good idea and financially very lucrative because business opportunity at the airport will increase tremendously. Imagine a plane full of passengers landing from Indonesia, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi, UAE. Human traffic will grow exponentially. Remember, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, and as of now there are TWO BILLION Muslims(!) on the planet earth - and growing. Imagine that! Now if you designate a room as a mosque, Muslim passengers from around the world will most definitely choose and gravitate towards your airport rather than your competitor's airport without a mosque. We live in a cut-throat competitive world. And it's all about money. You, and all your colleagues know it better than me, and anybody else. Very true. Second, Muslims will have a designated place to pray in peace and, most importantly, AWAY from other international passengers who have unfavorable outlook on Islam - not to mention phobia. This is true too. Third, some passengers may feel extremely uncomfortable seeing Muslims pray on the floor here and there and all around the terminal. Providing a little mosque in a corner somewhere and away from the public eye will most definitely reduce anxiety and or distress some passengers may feel. And this is true too. What are your thoughts? Idriz Ajeti xyzirdi@yahoo.com PS. Those who are interested to read the first letter may do so by going to Face**k and typing the title If You See something, Say Something/Idriz Ajeti.
