Azul damaged my suitcase and will not take responsibility. I complained at the airport when i reached Vitoria and a pretend report typed I was told it would be sent to me by email. never happened so I did an online report which stated numbers I should contact and they do not work at all. If this Airline is covered by regulations, what are the regulators doing about this * airline and why is this airline not providing correct customer service numbers for English Speakers!!???

Azul is profiteering off Hurricane Irma. It's impossible to get into Florida right now - 7 million people are in exile and the roads leading back into the state are packed and often not transversable. Airlines such as American, Southwest and Jet Blue have canceled all incoming flights until Friday. Yet Azul Airlines still expects passengers for FFL to Sao Paulo to be there at the Fort Lauderdale Airport on Wednesday. Apparently Azul believes the passngers shouldn't have evacuated per Rick Scott's orders with the Category 5 Hurricane coming at them. Now Azul plans on profiting: for every passenger who's unable to get back into Florida for the outgoing flight (and for those instate who are be stuck without power, or flooded in, or in the hospital), Azul will charge a $300 "no-show" fee, on top of not allowing passengers to refund or change their tickets. Yes, you heard that right - Azul will not only keep the money and, perhaps, sell the extra seat, they will also charge the customer for not being at the Fort Lauderdale airport on Wednesday, within hours of its opening. Call after call to the airline on behalf of our elderly father who left the state before the hurrican hit and had his retunsflight on Southwest canceled yielded 0% result - Azuls' customer service explained to us that if he's not on the plane he will be charged a fee, regardless. They seem to think is of secondary importance. They know they stand to profit form other people's loss and misery - to them it's a huge plus. To anyone ever planning on flying to Brazil and on behalf of every other decent competitor (most of whom have made concessions to accomodate passengers during this troubled time): PLEASE DO NOT FLY AZUL AIRLINES. THEY PUT THEIR PROFITS ABOVE THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY AND WELL BEING. Thank you.

I broke my foot in a fall yesterday and my flight leaves Bello Horizonte to Sao Paulo (5 hrs delay/w luggage re-checking) then to Ft Lauderdale Airport. I need your assistance in re-booking a direct flight from Bello Horizonte to Miami at a later date due to the injury being tender at this time. I would also need wheelchair assistance for boarding and at Ft Lauderdale airport upon arrival. I arranged transportation to be at the Airport in Bello Horizonte personally to try to work this out with your staff. Can you please notify a supervisor so I can get their assistance in Bello Horizonte today.

Please send this request to AZUL - My Reservation locator 6Y2EZB I bougth an round-trip AZUL Airline ticket FLL to Brasilia.........an expensive one. First time flying AZUL after almost 1 million miles in UNITED & AA. We already flew FLL to Brasilia via Viracopos ...fine ...excellente service aboard and a nice Airbus as a plane.....we are now in Abadiania, Goias in a spiritual healing with brasilian John of God at Casa Dom Inacio. Preparing to go back on January 7th , I found that the return is Brasilia - Guarulhos - then by car to Viracopos to take AZUL flight to Fort Laudardale. We should have the tickets issued to return: Brasilia - Viracopos - Fort Lauderdale. I called AZUL here in Brasil ..did not helo.....I took a taxi to Brasilia airport in order to get some help from AZUL counteragent ...did not help. AZUL reps advised to contact the Travel Agency that issue the ticket - OneTravel - which I contaced by chat and eMail. That travel agency told me that in order to change the return via Viracopos Airport I should pay over $2000 per person ......so my wife and me = $4000......that is insane David. ( I have the OneTravel response eMail saved ....just in case you need it ) Could you pls help us to re-arrange the AZUL reservation to fly Brasilia - Viracopos - FLL....not via Sao Paulo Guarulhos ? The AZUL locator is 6Y2EZB. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year, Jose Luis Altuve Duarte

We have tried booking flights from ft lauderdale to Rio through United Airlines. Azul has been impossible. No contact information in U.S. And United Airlines has no idea how to work with Azul reservation systems. So far, not a good match for United.

They broke off a wheel from my luggage and tore a large hole in the luggage by the hole and refused o pay for the large case they destroyed! They will cheat you if damage occurs! I suggest you fly TAM instead. They only gave me a credit of R$300 instead of the full value of the luggage which was US$200! I had to spend R$429 to replace luggage same size an same material! Just booked a ticket. Cannot view their choose a seat page. It is garbled and doesn't translate to my Mac. Have tried to load it several times. Everything else on their site had no issues. Only this portion of the transaction. We will see how the flight goes.

We are landing in GRU. Is it 50 miles to VCP? Our destination is PFB. How do we get from GRU to VCP? Are there ground transfers available? chartman@whitestartours.com

I am Canadian and the same thing happened to me. I was charged twice for the flight and was told I would be reimbursed within 30 to 60 days (which in the first place is a very long time to be without your money). It has been 75 days and no word from them or refund. If you do not have a Brazilian credit card to pay for your flight, they will flag it as irregular and charge you again when you arrive at the airport and say they will reimburse you for the first flight but they will not! Terrible customer service and not going to over well for tourists at the world cup...

TERRIBLE!!! Payed for my flight and they told me they refunded my money one hour before the flight. Payed twice and still haven't received a dime from them! Been trying to get it back for 3 weeks, might not happen! Take Tam, much better!

We could not recommend Azul as they took a double payment for our account and now we have been unable to contact them to correct this error. We have left two messages on their complains website message section and still have not received any reply. There is absolutely no help for foreign traveller - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE NOT BRAZILIAN
