That's not 149/189 First-Class passengers, it's 149/189 passengers in Single-Class configuration. 2-class configuration (131/145) reduced number of seats due to larger seats in First-Class, fewer of these larger seats, greater distance between rows in First-Class, and the addition of bulkheads between classes (and additional galley equipment to accommodate the extra meal options/bar stocks for the passengers up front).
