The worst airport you would ever want to try. No humanity at all they treat white people really well but other races are treated as animals. If you are not white then they won't let you in your terminal and make you have to sit on the chair for a long period even if you flight is the next day. All they care about is your physically appearance and which group do you belong too. They should be banned and we should stop them by not purchasing anymore flight tickets. If you are not white then they would yell at you and treat you badly. They once said that tha's what we do if your passport is African so they admit themselves that what they do is target and on purpose. I just hate that type of racism, we all can help stop this by making hashtags to ban this type of racism we see is cairo egypt airline. They are as well scammer the staff in the airport I remember that i got coffee from a place in which they said that the coffee costed 75 and a second time my sister went and told her it cost 85 and it's all for the same exact order. they are scammers #egyptairline should be banned.

I informed the the authorities in Budapest airport about the loss of my bag and they gave me the reference number BUDMS11958 which is attached to the mail. Just returned from Egypt. My advise? NEVER, never visit this country. NEVER fly EgyptAir. My story is too long and complicated with more issues with this airline and Egypt in general than I could be bothered to report here. The country is full of theives, beggars, liars, criminals and disease. EgyptAir is run by liars, retards and criminals. Even as my luggage was being put through the scanner at the airport in Cairo the guy putting the bags through the scanner asked me for money! Egypt is riddled with corruption at every level. The police walk round with their hands in their pockets looking scruffy. The streets are filled with young soldiers sitting in military vehicles, clutching rifless and sneering at tourists. Egypt is poor and on the edge of collapse financially. If one more terrorist attack happens in a holiday resort in Egypt the country will become bankrupt. People will stop using EgyptAir and all the employees will become even poorer than they already are. Maybe they will even become homeless, starve and die in the streets? :) I hope so. For the corrupt managers of Egypt Air, read and understand this......I will never fly Egypt Air again under ANY circumstances and you all should be sent to prison. I wish terrible things for you, all the staffs at Egypt Air and I hope for financial collapse of your country and that your children live and die in the streets of Cairo.

I have serious problems it is Egypt air ,it is because staff in Egypt air They do not have the slightest responsibility against their customer , They do not have the slightest responsibility about time etc I leave in Dubai , and I m a regional manage for one of biggest USA company , I have a business trip to my country in Egypt and I must back on Tuesday early morning as I have urgent meeting , this is the reason I select early morning to arrive on time. The problems starting when I contact call center on 8 Feb, to reserve my ticket on 11 Feb. , one person answer me and he told me not possible and you must go to Egypt air office , I told him it is already close time @ this moment 6:10 P.M , Dubai time , when I m keeping trying with him to found a way , I offer to him to check with other , he put me in hold and lying for me and he told I checked and not possible and he told me you can to airport His word not logic even after check with other and I cant believe he check , but it same he is playing and he dont need to disturb him , I contact again and one ladies book for me a ticket. I asked for supervisor and she answer me after many try , and explain to hear the problems and she told me , I will check , and the answer after she lessening the record , this is new staff , but it same not check with right person just to close the case and he not give you the right answer , and we are sorry and we can give 10% , or 1000 miles , which is not logic and I think it bad image for Egypt air , I hope you need to look on it . Please, understand me , I m complain because of Egypt , may be other person if it is happen the same he will not book again , but I m trying to help , as this is never happen with me with other airline Today , I m trying to back to Dubai as I have urgent meeting and this is the reason I book early morning and I came early @ 2:45 and I asked different person and every one told me still not open yet , in the end after one hours , I go to counter and I asked him it is reaming 2 hours and it must open 3 hours , what is the problems. 16.11.15 Dear Sir/Madam, Compensation claim for delayed flight I am writing regarding the delay my partner and I experienced on flight MS839, which was scheduled to depart from Cairo on 10.10.15 and arrive at Johannesburg on 11.10.15. The flight was scheduled to arrive at 07:10am however it did not arrive until 11:35am, some 4 hours 25 minutes late. I am fully aware that as the flight was outside of the European Union, therefore I cannot apply for compensation under the EC Regulation 261/2004 for this delayed flight however, I am seeking £200 compensation per passenger as we did not get service promised by your airline and feel that the delay should have been handled in a much better fashion. The main reason for booking this flight was the decent price and the total flight time and connection time. According to Egypt air Customer Service Plan: Flight delays: .EGYPTAIR will provide customers at the airport and onboard any delayed aircraft with timely and frequent updates regarding the delay, beginning 30 minutes after we become aware of such a delay We encourage you to provide us with a mobile phone number and email address so that we can send email and text updates to you during your journey. Essential customer needs during extraordinary delays: Safety and comfort of our customers is our top priority. On very rare occasions, extraordinary events may result in lengthy onboard delays. We have developed detailed contingency plans to deal with situations in which an aircraft is delayed on the ground without access to a terminal gate. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your essential needs, such as food, water, restroom facilities, and basic medical assistance are met. Flight MS839 was unfortunately the most unpleasant flight we have been on. The Cabin Crew were not able to deliver accurate information on the reasons for delays or an estimated time for take off. All passengers were held inside the plane for almost 5 hours before plane took off from Cairo Airport. The first announcement was made around 40 minutes after the scheduled departure. We were told that plane was missing documentation. The second announcement came around 3 hours later, saying that some passengers had cancelled/missed the flight and their luggage now needed to be removed. There was not an apology after any of these announcements and there were no other formal announcements apart these two during the delay. Neither of provided reasons seems to be reasonable for keeping all passengers inside the plane for 5 hours on the runway. Additionally, the crew were barely visible during this period to help people or to let people know what was going on. People actually asked the cabin crew on numerous occasions what the delay was after being fed the above information/announcements but they could not actually say and had no answers. The plane was extremely hot (air condition was off), the cabin crew did not provide meals/snacks at all. Water was distributed after around 3 hours after a number of the older passengers did not feel well. I look forward to hearing from you and would welcome a response within 14 days. EGYPTAIR very bad company as they didn't respect their customer . the manager of Egyptair at Sharm el-Sheikh airport he had a very bad personality , he think that he is the top one and he tread the customer very nasty. another thing also how the flight number MS0422 which from Sharm el-Sheikh to Alexandria which depart time on the ticket at 9:45 am , but that day 23/10/2015 the airplane was up in sky already at 9:30 am. Egyptair they didn't respect their customer and tread their customers very nasty.

On Sept. 17, 2015 upon passing through the immigration checkpoint at CAI Airport, two men blocked our exit from the checkpoint and physically took my boyfriend's passport from his hand. They identified themselves as security officers, but could not present any credentials and were not in uniform. Very scared, I approached several CAI Airport employees for help. They all ignored me. One individual who was an EGYPTAIR employee, wearing EGYPTAIR credentials, intervened in the situation -- but NOT to assist us. Instead this EGYPTAIR employee assisted the men with keeping the passport and continuing to question us. The EGYPTAIR employee assisted with translation, and continued to provide that assistance even when the man asked us how much cash we were carrying -- which was his attempt to get cash from us in exchange for return of the passport he took. At one point when I said I was very nervous, the EGYPTAIR employee laughed at me. The behavior of this employee is deplorable. I wish I had asked for his name because I would have pursued this matter until his employment was terminated. I will be reporting the incident to the U.S. Embassy, and pursuing every possible means to review and publish this information for others so that they do not fly EGYPTAIR in the future. We had planned to fly EGYPTAIR from CAI-LXR during our stay, but instead we cancelled our tickets after the criminal behavior and assistance that the EGYPTAIR employee engaged in.

THE FOLLOWING IS AN EMAIL THAT I AM NOT CAPABLE TO SEND TO ANYONE BECAUSE NO ONE OF THE EGYPTAIR EMAIL ADDRESSES SEEM TO BE OPERATIVE!!! Sirs, i unfortunately was sitting on the MS704 last September 04th fr om Malpensa to Cairo,i enclose my boarding card so You can check and control. As You already know the plane from Cairo landed with roughly one hour delay,and i do not have to ask about reasons,i am a frequent flyer and i know it happens... What is unbelievable is the fact we were forced to stay and kept on board for more than 3 and a half hours,before moving from the parking area to take off, for some reasons that NOBODY explained us,(except a short communication from the cabin wh ere a "technical reason" was told with the same unintellegibile loudspeaker) without any comfort but air conditioning (a very bad smell was coming too from the ducts over my seat) and absolutely NO INFORMATIONS from the crew. What is terrible is that this total lack of informations (with the crew staying in their places not taking care to provide any infos or any comfort to passengers) was the reason for women screaming,children crying,men disputing so to transform the plane in a dangerous bazaar with what i really felt like a risk for my person,and a lady having what seemed to be a harthattache. Only when some passengers went to aware the crew,that was comfortably sitting in businness class or in their own places, an ambulance was called and a member of the crew tried to provide hoxygen to the Lady, and only when the ambulance with paramedics arrived the crew at least magically reappeared along the corridor with the beverage trolley from the galley. Is the the best service You are able to offer to Your Customers?!? I have one comment more: I paied about 540,00 euro to be back one day before (Yesterday the 7th) and forced to buy a business class seat when the economy was so overbooked to passengers with an economy ticket being allowed to sit for free in the business area... Thank You for Your promt answer,i am not shure i will fly with Egyptair any longer.

Despite being egyptian, i do not advise any human being to use this loosing company. My bag was lost and for days i can not reach any customer service. When i filed the complaint in airpprt upon arriv they gave me a number to call but the employee does not pick the phone. I went to airport again and called the number while infront of the employee and saw him looking at the phone and ignoring tp respond. Worst airline ever and I will never use again. BTW coming from UK egyptair was the most expemsive option but i used it to catch a flight from cairo to alexandria but i was stupid tp trust these guys. Loosers..

I wish if I am sharing my feedback with Egypt Air management about your service, but unfortunately I could not find any other way to contact Egypt Air management to raise my complaint except online, especially after I met one of the Egypt air Manager in Dubai office. Last Wednesday I had a very bad situation at Egypt Air, Dubai Office My name is Ahmed Abbas I was using Egypt Air for many years, but I stopped to use it after I faced very bad attitude of one of Egypt Air staff at Dubai Airport (old Man) Almost three years ago, I got good feedback about the Egypt Air service, so I decided to use it again. Honestly I was surprised of good service of Ms. Dalal and I decided to use Egypt Air for my family. It does not matter the fare is high or low. The same good service I received it from another lady at the same office but unfortunately I do not know her name The same good service I received it two months ago from a gentle man at the call center his name Ahmed or Mohamed After all, I surprised last Wednesday 12th November when I went to Egypt Air, Dubai office to book return ticket for one of my family member and to cancel the return for another ticket. As usual Ms. Dalal assisted me with a proper manner Then I went to Mr. Harth (I think is an Indian cashier) to get the refund I was not comfortable with his calculation, so politely I told him I think something is wrong, so he calculated it again and he gave me different amount. I repeated the same sentence to him, so he calculated it again and he gave me new amount which is not matching with previous one. So I told him you have three different calculations, which one I should accept and why Then I asked him to get me someone else who can calculate it better I wish if I did not ask him. Until now I could not believe you have someone is working for Egypt Air Called Mohamed who has very horrible attitude Mohamed said the calculation is ok and only AED 10 more you should get it. Then I asked him which calculation is correct and when I felt he was not happy to come or assist, I told him, with all of my respect to both of you; I want to see the supervisor or manager. It seems I did I big mistake with this request. He told me you can go to the financial controller upstairs, I requested to get the paper which has the three calculations but I appreciate if he could gave it to me or to send it to his manager. Mohamed fold the paper and throw it in the garbage in the front of me, and he said to me is not your business I wish if I did not met the financial controller Mr. Alaa . I think he is busy and does not have time for this kind of issues I explained to him the story and I mentioned that I stopped to use Egypt Air and I used different airlines like Singapore airline because of staff attitude. I surprised that he said, it is up to you instead to encourage me to use Egypt Air. Secondly I told him I preferred to raise my complaint to him instead of lodge online complaint He repeated the same sentence, it is up to you. When I was about to leave the office he improved his way little bit I surprised again when his staff (Mohamed) entered the office and repeated in the front of Mr. Alaa that is not my business to get this paper with very bad attitude Mr. Alaa was so nice to shout to him in the front of me and teach him the importance of the Egypt Air patron I appreciate if Mr. Alaa trained his staff before to deal with us I could ask for the General Manager of Dubai Office but I do not want any more surprise Before I leave Dubai Office, I mentioned to Mr. Alaa that it seems this is the normal system at Egypt Air Mr. Alaa was not happy with my comment but I apologized to him and explained to him that I prefer to be honest with him hoping that something will improve Before I leave the office, Mr. Alaa asked my mobile number. So far I did not receive any call from him, so I do not know why he asked my mobile number. Torture on EgyptAir On the 4th of May, I was travelling fr om Kano to Beirut with Egypt Air. My itinerary included a 2 hour 40 minute layover in Cairo. My flight was at 08:40. However I waited at a coffee shop till the screen indicated that the gate was open and took around 8 minutes to get there but was told that I was late and the plane doors will soon be shut. Fine. Instead of letting me on the plane, they gave the order to unload my baggage. Frankly, Im not sure which takes more time. However, I am willing to abide by the rules. I decided to take the next flight to Beirut which was the same day at 16:50. After waiting for 8 hours in the airport coffee shop, we boarded the plane but it did not take off till 18:00. The announcement said that they were waiting for a passenger who was running late. Is the policy of double standard by Egypt Air acceptable to Star Alliance? I got to my gate just in time but was denied boarding, and now we all have to wait 70 minutes for a passenger that actually never showed up. Moreover, there was a repetitive pinging sound that we heard the moment we stepped on board. Nothing was done about it during the 70 minutes we waited for the no-show passenger. It kept on going almost continuously from boarding time at 16:50 till we arrived at Beirut two and a half hours later. (Video available upon request). All passengers on board got really agitated with some suffering severe headaches, myself included. However, I am still an objective person and will give credit wh ere it is due. I salute the pilots of Egypt Air. Take off and landings were extremely smooth, and they maneuvered the plane on ground swiftly reflecting professionalism and experience. Note of attention: On the flight from Kano to Cairo, the back of my seat angled to the left which was uncomfortable. Luckily the seat next to mine was empty and I moved. (Seat # 22A) On the flight from Cairo to Beirut, the seat upright button was faulty and kept laying back during takeoff. I also changed seats later when we leveled off. (Seat # 24C)

Egyptair made my holiday misrable. Two of my baggage missing. My clothes, shoes and everything left on the bags. No contact contact details, agents at Cairo Lost and found sections are jokkery. They don't to any thing to help you. Simply say, it is on the system. I can check such information online through star alliance website under tracying baggage. They not in the position to help. The airline need to improve baggage irregularities, otherwise, not good to fly Egyptair.
