Hi, I'm looking to book flights on EVA Air (London to Bangkok) for Nov 2023, but the entire seat availability at the rear of the plane is unavailable for seat selection - does anyone know when this section becomes available? Thanks Simon

This is not the Eva Air carrier' site here, but the discussions on the services of the Eva Air. If there is no flight information (e-ticket number / reservation number, date , destinations/ origin / name), noone is able to reply without the correct data and the full data. In order to get the correct reply, kindly attach the reservation / booking number and produce air carrier / date / fllight number / airports / your name. Requests on refund must produce full name, reservation / eticket and email address in attachment. The reply can be handlled within 48 hours - 144 hours by free staff in English. Regards. aryan{at}vivaldi.net - for private and full requests with e-tickets only.

Hi, My name is Mathew Ryan and my seat cushion on my flight to Thailand had very little padding on it and my buttocks was very sore during and after the flight, it hurt very bad. Would you please give me a seat that is comfortable for me to set in on May 1st when I fly back to America. A good seat with a good cushion or a upgrade that will not cost me extra money. I like flying on your airplanes and the service is very good. Please help me to have a nice flight home on your airplane. BR/8VDQKN Thank you for your help. Eva airways out of Taipei offers horrendous service for frequent travelers. Apparently they have had high turnover in staff at the TPE hub and the mangers are all junior. They will offer no concession nor any benefit for Star Alliance status. Gold, 1K, etc. NONE WHATSOEVER. They will also enforce a 7KG total luggage limit (absurd for an international flight). If you need to fly them in other parts of Asia, they are not bad. Stay away for originating any EVA flights in TPE. Take Cathay or Singapore airlines. AVOID EVA out of TPE. J Miller

Eva Airlines discriminates against DISABLED AND HANDICAPPED passengers! I will report them to the ADA! This is by far the worst airline I have done business with! I bought my aunt a ticket LAX-MNL. I wasted hours of my time on the phone with employees that do not care. They are extremely rude and they have lost my business permanently. I will tell everyone I know.

On July 23rd I flew business class from Chongqing China to Toronto Canada, connecting through Beijing China and Taipei Taiwan. The flights from Beijing to Taipei and Taipei to Toronto were on EVA. While the in-flight service and product were great, the EVA agents in Beijing nearly ruined my trip and made the entire experience of flying EVA miserable. After speaking with a clueless agent, the supervisor insisted that I would need a visa to transit through Taipei enroute to Canada. However, Taiwan allows travelers continuing to a third country on the same day to transit-without-a-visa (TWOV). The agents insisted that I would have to miss the flight and go apply for a visa in order to transit through Taipei (I am a Canadian Permanent Resident). This is clearly incorrect and caused me a great deal of frustration before my long flight to Toronto. Only after begging the supervisor was I allowed to travel to Taipei and onward to Toronto. My husband flew the same route on EVA several months ago and experienced the exact same problem in Beijing. EVA should re-train the agents in Beijing so that this doesn’t happen to other travelers in the future. Clearly there is a lack of understanding on visa/passport rules and regulations within EVA’s Beijing team. Even checking EVA’s own website (www.evaair.com/en-us/flight-information/... would show that my documentation allows me to transit Taipei without a visa.

I have to write a brief story of my experience with a representative of EVA at Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysai. I was departing fr om Kuala Lumpur after my 2 weeks vacation In Malaysia. My first flight was Malaysian Airllines to Singapore and later connecting EVA air to Taipei and Toronto. When checking in, Malaysian Aur crew gave me such a hard time, I was in tears. I was traveling with my 80 year old father in a wheel chair and a 5 year old son. I went to the first counter wh ere I was refused to be checked in as the transit in Singapore to Eva was 1hr and 15 mins. They wouldn't accept my luggage and told me I have to change my ticket. I begged them to just take me and not to worry about my connecting flight as I will make sure I make it to the fate in time, saying this, the check in person said I'd had have to pick up my luggage in Singapore airport and re check in with EVA Air. At this point I was ready to break down. I knew I wolfht make it on time if I collected u baggage and rechecked them again in Singapore. At this point I was ready to change my tucket. I needed to find out if EVA would change my departure date and time. I was told to go speak to a Rep on the 4th floor. In the office there, I was treated by a wonderful lady named Sherry, who was a station supervisor/master. I explained her the whole situation. She was shocked and very apologetic. She came with me back to the check in counter, told them that they had no right to refuse me and that the baggage should be transffered automatically to Eva air in Singapore. She took full responsibility of the baggage, if the baggage was not made in this flight, she told the EVA takes full responsibility to send it on the next flight. I was perfectly ok with that. I want you to please commend shetty on her service to EVA Aur passengers. She provided me with a service I had never gotten before. She is s kind, compasate person with a very high level of service. I am a frequent flyer, I will never take Malaysian Airlunes after this experience.

They NEVER pick up the phone or have an email address where I can write in for enquiries. All they have a message is that "this call will be recorded" - they should play back some of these and do a review of their service.
