On Monday, 19 February at approximately 7.00am I had a long hour stopover for my return flight to the UK. We did not board for over 5 hours, so decided to a go to a resort 20mins away by Taxi. The immigration officer slammed down her passport and said “I will not allow you”. I showed her the documents allowing me to leave the airport. Annoyed by this. she then abruptly asked, “where are you going?”. I explained, that we were going to a local resort to look around. She replied, that we do not have time and was saying that it was Monday and that the traffic would be too bad. I pointed out that the resort was only 20mins away. She rudely interrupted and said “I know where it is, I am Filipino”. Just to clarify, I asked if the traffic was going to be really bad and she recommended that we stayed in the airport, we would. Annoyed by this, she just said, “are you going out or not?”. I politely repeated, not if you recommend us to stay. She rolled her eyes and threw our arrival cards on the floor. I picked them up and told her that she was very rude. She really didn’t care. I went to look for her supervisor to make a complaint at the transfer desk. They did not know who that was. I asked for her name. They did not know that either. But, they did give me a passenger feedback form. So, I went back to the immigration desk and calmly and politely asked for her name. At first she became aggressive and refused to give it to me. I very calmly explained that she was very rude and that I would be making a complaint, so I needed her name. Eventually, she let me see her pass. I said, thank you. Dollette then left her immigration desk, knowing full well she had acted inappropriately and followed me back to the transfer desk. She tried to tell them a pack of lies and that we were rude in Tagalog not knowing that we would understand what she was saying. However, she told us, “I am not talking to you”. Dollette continued to lie and manipulate what had happened to those that were not there. You have CCTV. Please review this.

Tell those trolley drivers to slow down inside the terminal, Boss. .They are maniacal. Is it' about passenger safety or speed egos running wild? Perhaps the next injured person will be best qualified to answer.

Absolute disgrace and I was in the new terminal 3....i have to ask how they have the bare faced cheek to charge you an airport tax of 550 peso for using it , hell they should pay us....there is very poor AC, no business lounges available yet there was only one set of toilets working when I was there (October 12 2014) and overall considering its newly opened the design and the the build quality looks like its 30 years old already, its a very poor design with probably all the money that was supposed to be used slipped into somebodies pocket and I just wonder where all the 550 peso are going just now, there arent many airports in the world left that charge you an airport tax and the ones that do are usually 3rd world robbing theiving so and so's......so I guess its welcome to the Philippines hahahahahahaha

Valuables were stolen from my luggage at Manila international airport. LOCK your luggage, 4 mens watches all new, 3 tee-shirts and chocolates were stolen from my suitcase. Terrible to find our when I got home that I had been robbed, my luggage was boarded on a later flight to singapore which was obviously time from the robbers to steal from my luggage. Avoid this airport or lock your luggage!!!

It all depends which cuortny you are from ! If you are from the US, Europe, Australia, Japan and primary ASEAN countries, it is not necessary for you to have a return air tickets, if you declared as a transit passenger (because you don't hold a return ticket unless you had purchased a air ticket for flight to another cuortny departing from Singapore). However, the immigration may request you to show them your cash or financial status before allowing you a visitor visa.I am sure you need to go home after your visit, so why don't you purchase a return air ticket, which is much cheaper than aone way trip.
