I will never use this airport again. Granted, it was nice and clean, but the parking manager is an * . Hear is the story:
I go home on Christmas break for an intention of only 10 days. I decided to just use long term parking for this venture. My wife was pregnant and just entering her third trimester as we travelled. While on vacation my daughter decided she was going to be born a full 2.5 months early and I wound up having to stay 20 days longer while she was in the NICU before having to come back to work. Of course parking fees were an unbelievable $400, almost as much as my plane ticket to California.
After a long process of getting a parking refund request filed and 3 different employees reassuring me that I could get most of the money back; this greedy * says, "While we can empathize with the issues you were dealing with, your request is not a result of an error by RDU in policy or practice. As a result, no refund adjustment is possible".
I call * * on that statement and also Frank Dickens (parking manager) needs to look up the difference between empathy and sympathy. Because if he could truly "empathize" with me, he would truly understand how hard it is to loose half your paycheck to * parking fees.
I mean, seriously, you guys don't make enough money at an airport to refund 2 thirds of the parking fees I never intended on, especially given my extenuating circumstances. It's bad enough I got all these sudden medical bills without you guys * me over on top of that. So thanks again RDU and more specifically you Mr. Frank Dickens, you really are living up to your name, * !
Because of this response I promise I will never use or allow my family to use RDU airport again and I am going to give Fayetteville Airport my money instead. I don't care if it costs more or not, they are closer to me anyways and way less hassle If I could give you guys 0 stars I would..
