To Dr. Norehan Haji Hussein -- Sorry to hear of your students problem. Emirates and Somon Air don't have an agreement and as such the luggage does not get transferred automatically. You have to pay Emirates $85 (or thereabouts) to get the luggage transported to Somon Air flight. This is a tough situation if you are no prepared for it. I suggest he considers taking Fly Dubai next time.

A student of mine left KL to Dubai and from there to Dushanbe on SOMON AIR. In Dubai, he called me at midnight seeking help that the Airline demanded $84 (US Dollars) to have his luggage checked in. The student had less than 20 kg in his luggage, and no US dollars. He was in total PANIC and the ground staff gave him a hard time instead of explaining to him the standard procedure. The student is a native Tajikistan! For heaven sake, this is the airline own countryman, and still they were not being helpful to him.

Hi, please advise why the on line bookings and summer schedule gives contradictory time of flights .not possible to book on line ticket with such information.
