I flew from DaNang to Hoi chi Ming city on 20th March flight VN127 at 19.45. This flight was delayed nearly 3 hours and we missed our Emirates connection to come home. Could you please email me the reaso why it was delayed for my insurance company. This caused us a lot of stress and expense.
I have tried other addresses and no one seems to want to help. All I want is a email with the reason why.
My email address is callumnile1@aol.com
Hope you can help

My son and I flew to HCMC on Vietnam Airlines (code
share QF) ex Melbourne in early November 2013.
As part of our itinerary we had booked, via the internet, a VN flight
from Hanoi to Phu Quoc departing Hanoi on 10/11/13. We had
also booked a flight from Phu Quoc back to HCMC on 15/11/13 departing at 9.40
am.
Owing to my son having contracted food poisoning in Hanoi and being
hospitalised for 24 hours - as well as the approach of Typhoon Haiyan - I
contacted the Hanoi office of Vietnam Airlines on 9/11/13 to seek an
earlier departure to Phu Quoc. I was advised on the phone this was possible but
there would be a total of about 6 million VND payable to accommodate
extra charges and the fact that the only seats available out of Hanoi were in
Business Class. We were asked to come to the office to pay in person
which we did. We then flew to Phu Quoc via HCMC and arrived on time. All good so far and I remarked to myself how efficient and accommodating the staff were. All planes were clean and comfortable and the domestic business class service was the equivalent of airlines in Australia
However, when we arrived at Phu Quoc airport to catch our flight back to
HCMC on 15/11/13, for which we had paid, we found that our booking did
not exist. After much agitation we were told that the value of our flight to
HCMC from Phu Quoc on 15/11/13 had been assumed by the flights from Hanoi
to Phu Quoc on 9/11/13 without any advice. This was an extraordinary revelation and caused my
son and me great stress. We had no option other than to purchase two more
seats at a cost of approximately 3.1 million VND.
That the booking clerk in Hanoi cancelled our Phu Quoc to HCMC sector
without either our permission or even advising us was simply quite
extraordinary and quite disgraceful. I fly very frequently both in
Australia and internationally and this is not the behaviour one expects of a reputable international airline.
The entertainment unit in my seat on the flight
from HCMC to MEL departing did not work. It was a long flight and I
was not able to avail myself of the facilities available to other passengers.
This too was unacceptable- though the courteous and apologetic cabin
crew did all they could.
In fairness, the complaint department of Vietnam Airlines in Australia were prompt and courteous but were only authorised to offer me a $50 refund. I do feel short-changed and not in anyway inclined to fly with the airline again.
