It's a great airline. Cheap tickets and great service. I want to fly with them again to Denver.

After post below I made one more email attempt and was contacted by Xtra Airways via email letting me know someone had found my luggage yesterday. Not sure why I wasn't contacted yesterday as it would have reduced high stress in our home... and glad I kept making attempts... apparently Southwest Airlines brought my baggage safely to St. Louis and I was able to pickup today from airport from Frontier. Good luck to all those flying Xtra Airways!!

Do not use this airlines. Xtra Airline man that filed report at airport said his boss would call me the next day. NO CALL! Luggage has been lost for 3 days and I've called 6 times having to leave a message with Angela without getting even a follow-up courteous call back. Call goes to ANGELA and she does not return calls. I've sent email as well and now trying to find a 'hidden' lost luggage claim form on line. VERY POOR, SAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

On January 16,2016 my son and I flew XP 300 from Punta Cana to BWI. Our original flight was schedule for 1pm, however, it was delayed to 5pm. Surely, that was very fustrating, however, things happen. Despite the lack of apology or explanation from the flight crew, they then begin to create an atmosphere of rushing the passengers. That is not appropriate. They made comments such as the quicker you take your seats, the quicker we can get a head count, the quicker we can pull take off.... Not appropriate. The second most fustrating part, occurred when I took my son to the front bathroom and the flight attended decided to overhead a friendly reminder that the front bathroom is for first class guest only and everyone else needs to use the bathroom the in back. Very upsetting. My son is 5 years old, and had a stomach bug, from something he must have ate, and we were literally sitting in row 7, so I had to run to the back of the flight every 5 mins to get my son on the toilet so he would not have a feces accident on himself! Not considerate or good customer service. The flight attendant even thought it was ok to make that same announcement after anyone who used the front bathroom if they were not in firstclass. That stupid friendly reminder was made directly after the passenger left the bathroom. There were only 3 people in first class and they were not complaining of other passengers using the bathroom. The final incident that made this flight a horrible experience is when I told a flight attendant I have trash and he told me he would come later to pick it up. I see him take other passengers trash, I do not understand why he could not have taken mine. I have two half full cups of juice, and a 5 year old who can't sit still because he is back and forth to the bathroom. An hour later the flight attendant is handing out more beverages, he asked if I wanted anything, I said no, I have trash that needs to be picked up. He again replies I'll get it later. 40 minutes later when it was more convenient for him to collect my trash, somehow the entire cup of juice spills on me and he advocately says you hit the cup, you hit the cup, as if to explain to me it was not his fault. I assertively tell him that I've asked twice for my trash to be picked up, if he picked it up when I asked this could've been avoided, moreover, if something spills on a customer, the first response from him should've been an apology, not a justification of what happen. I u The flight crew was very unprofessional, lack customer service, and created a very uncomfortable environment. I rated a 2 because the flight landed safely!

Terrible first experience. Even their own pilots don't want to deal with them...

Xtra Airways: Terrible Experience Round Flight to/from Atlanta, GA/Montego Bay, Jamaica Pros: We survived the flight. Cons: Delayed flights causing a full day of vacation, work, and connecting flights to be missed. Mechanical issues. Rude behavior by crew. 1st flight from Atlanta to Montego Bay had loud, high pitched whining noise. 30 min in the air, the captain noted that we would have to return to Atlanta due to a warning light that came on during the climb. We were told that it was "alright." Upon landing, we were told that the warning was due to the plane's sensors not knowing that the plane was in the air. We later found out that the error dealt with issues with the landing gear which resulted in a rough landing back in Atlanta. In order to turn the plane around, the pilot made an unexpected, very sharp turn, tilting the plane sideways, placing passengers in a panic as they either looked out their windows to see nothing but sky or nothing but ground directly below them. Once in Atlanta, we were forced to stay on the plane, then were told to leave carry-on luggage and go to holding room. One older man was left to provide delayed information updates and pass out food vouchers for around 150 * passengers. Around an hour or so after we were promised feedback, they deemed the plane that was "alright" as un-serviceable and had us wait another 2 hours or so for a flight from Miami to come in. They were very slow and unorganized in arranging for people to retrieve their luggage. When the computer went down for the food vouchers, a passenger had to assist the older gentleman as no other airline personnel were available. The vouchers provided were all for one restaurant. By the time we received them, there was not enough time for all passengers to go through the line and eat before time to get back to the gate in preparation for boarding. We finally got a replacement plane and left Atlanta around 7 or 8 hours later than our original departure time and arrived in Jamaica. Due to the delays, we didn't manage to get to our room until around 10PM. On the return flight from Jamaica to Atlanta, we were told that the plane was delayed and had been diverted to Kingston, Jamaica. Publicly, they said it was due to weather, but one woman was told it was because of mechanical issues. Once we got on the plane, we discovered that it was the same one that had experienced issues on our flight to Jamaica, complete with the same captain/co-captain and a few of the same crew. One woman had a panic attack, probably at this realization, causing further delays. The flight that was supposed to leave out at 5:45PM didn't leave until closer to 10PM, placing us back in Atlanta around 1:30AM the next morning. Once landed, the pilot rushed back to retrieve his bags before any passengers could get off, and once in line for customs, the stewards/stewardesses all broke in front of us and other passengers who had been patiently waiting. They took several minutes to finish, and the customs worker had semi-lengthy discussions with them, causing those of us that they'd cut in front of to have to go stand at the end of other lines in order to go through.

Feb.21,2015 from Cozumel-Nightmare, flight delayed due to computer issue, paperwork so they said. Than sat on plane off the runway saying there was back up, lost our place in line by than weather was bad at home and canceled flight. Apple had 1 representative calling hotels for 114 people ended up in a dive. Feb.22,2015 finally flight was late again. Two of 3 bathrooms not functioning, Trays in first row were broken and unusable. Coffee pot broken. No running water. Floor of 1st row wet, they said it was condensation. Than a medical emergency occurred, luckily one of the passengers took over as the attendants seemed clueless.Clothes in my suitcase were wet. BWI said they were not notified we were coming in and had to call baggage handlers and 1 customs clerk at home to come in. Spent 2 whole days in airports and plane and slept 1 night in a dump. Thanks Apple and Xtra never again!

Disaster! Chartered flight home from Nassau, Bahamas was cancelled two days in a row. That caused me to miss two days of work. Couldn't get a part flown in on the first day. The second day the lavatory leaked and damaged some instruments.
