Dr Mohamed Abdul Kader : I have had the best experience with the customer care service of the Qatar Airways, Doha office in a refund issue recently. After the cancellation of the return tickets of my wife and me Finland -Kochi due to the Omikron travel restrictions, I contacted the customer care staff on the phone to settle the refund. They behaved excellently and I got the full refund within a week.

Has anyone flown to the UK with Qatar Airways recently? Fully vaccinated visitors to the UK currently need to to take a lateral flow test by day 2 after arrival in UK. When you flew to the UK with Qatar Airways, did they require proof that you had procured these tests before you boarded the plane? Thank-you for your time. Best Regards, Disraeli.

I flew from LAX to CCU and back in November 2021 The flight started late from LAX and I had a short halt in Doha to change flights.It was stressful.I asked for help in Doha airport but everyone said go ahead and noone helped,So was on my own, somehow managed to catch flight. Return back missed the connecting flight as again flight started late from CCU.They put me in another flight via Dallas which was again delayed . My overall experience wasn;t good.Flights getting delayed .Checking out bags in Dallas to check back bags in was a hassle .I called the air hostesses multiple times to get water most time they never showed up.

I traveled from my home country to Canada on July 31, 2021. The ticket price has been tripled compared to 4 years ago, but there was no social distancing in airplanes, all seats were full of passengers. I really do not know why the tickets have been increased when there was no difference between this flight and the one I boarded 4 years ago. I do not recommend this airline at all.

Hi all, I have booked a ticket on Denmark to Philippines. My first name however mistakenly includes my title "ms" at the end. Instead of "FirstName LastName" it is printed as "FirstNameMS Last Name". So this does not match my passport. Has anyone here had this issue? Should I cancel and re-book my tickets to avoid issues at the border control? Please advise.

Hi on dec 24th I booked flights with Qatar to Australia for myself and my daughter when I receive e tickets I noticed that my daughters name had an e in it her name is tracy noble and tracy was spelt with an e in it (Tracey) so I contacted Qatar they said as it was only 1 letter it would be ok then I received another message to say that because there was another airline involved they couldn’t do it I checked my e tickets as it was Qatar that booked it I found I was flying back from Brisbane to Sydney with Qantas so I contacted Qantas and they said as long as the name was same on passport it would be ok they also told me that Qatar were the ones who could correct this so got back in touch with Qatar they said no I had to cancel Tracy’s booking and rebook but I can’t afford to do this why can they not help me with this issue it’s 1letter in her name I really hope you can assist me on this issue my daughter’s 50th birthday gift her name is tracy noble mine Brenda ridgeon flying out from Manchester 9 November to Adelaide then return 4th December from Brisbane ref P6XAMY email.bridgeon33@hotmail.com I really hope you can help me regards Brenda

I was flying hom to the United States and I had a quick layover in the UAE. My cellphone was broken and would no longer hold a charge or even turn on any more even if i charged it for 2 days. I got chosen for a random securiity check and they asked for me to turn on my phone. When I told them that I couldn't, they told me that I cant take it with me on the plane and they would be confiscating it. The good news at the time was that they would be holding it for me in Qatar's Lost & Found temporarily and then sending it to me. When I got home I had a confirmation email from that they have my phone in their possession. I am thankful that they sent that because now they cannot say they don't have it. Awesome. It has been a week, no phone and no one is responding to any of my requests for information. I need the phone so that i can turn it in for replacement under insurance. Any ideas? anyone ever had this problem?

I would like to take this with me in the cabin as it is a fragile part for a musical instrument. Will this be allowed? Second question: I am allowed two pieces of checked in luggage.
