I have a question about booking flights on the website. I keep getting an error that tells me to leave Date of Birth empty or completely filled. This happens after filling in the forms. When I click on the the button to choose seats, an error message appears. All required fields are already filled. So I'm not sure if this is a bug on your website or something else. Kindly advice. Thank you.

I have been travelling on Malaysian Airlines frequently, the latest was from Singapore to Kuala Terengganu in Sept 16. A few hours ago before 12 midnight I booked for a trip to KL scheduled from 24 to 27 Nov 16. I have completed the online booking form but had gone directly for payment and have not chosen the seats thinking that there will be a button to press for the selection of seats but it went straight to payment. When I received the Travel Itinerary Receipt with the Booking Ref no: KYLXD and the Tickets no : 2322440933681 & 2322440933680 there was an * If I have selected the seat, it was not reflected & to contact your call centre: I called that no from Spore added 021-60378433000 and the lady took a long time trying to tell me that what I have booked was only the flight tickets and have to pay for the seats. I have been travelling often and this is the first time I ever heard booking online with full payment and if forgotten to press the button to sel ect seats is my fault hence I have to make payments for the seats. I told her that I booked early because we want the seats to be nearer the front and at the window sides. I requested the 1st call lady to check with her supervisor if I could be assisted and she told me to wait since its already 20 mins (overseas call) I ended the call. that was around fr om 1.05 am 1.25 am. I made the 2nd call and another lady answered (slightly better) but still cannot help but advised me to call 24 hrs before the departure date to check the seats numbers (*and have to pay for those 2 seats !!!) I booked early because we wants to be seated next to each other and near the window and near to the front (knee problem) this call took another 12 mins 1.30 am till 1.42 am. Till now already passed 2.15 am and I am still typing this e-mail. I am a Enrich member with the membership no as MH 317695011 but its seem that the nos had some mistakes and was informed that that was a wrong nos. We are both retirees and have many others and have been trying via the Malaysian Airlines but with this experience it ready disappointing. We will decides after your reply on this matter. I am having trouble contacting anyone at the MAS. I have tried to contact the Customer Service. They were not able to answer my query. I requested to speak to a Manager. I was told that he Manager was at a meeting and will return my call. after 3 days, I still have not received a call. I have written to even the CEO but have not received a response. What else do I need to do? It is urgent that they provide a response asap. Anyone has any idea on how I can get a response to my query. This is the first time I have booked MAS flight. It will likely be the last.

Mohsin : Salam I was booking the seat on 9th of September but the there was a transaction processing error and the seat was not finally booked. Than i booked the seat from other sources.On 11th of the September, i found one message that your transaction is successful and the amount is transferred to Malaysian airline. What i should do for reimbursement? Having same problem. I thought transaction unsuccessful.when i call credit card services MAS already charge.did they refund our money quickly. I don't want to be charge for nothing.

Malaysia Airlines just informed me that my flight was retimed and I have to fly around 2am in the morning when my initial flight ticket is around evening. So I tried calling them to change the time for my ticket but after 6 attempts, I wasn't able to get anything sorted other than just able to give my reference number and then the line just cut off. All of the 6 successful calls (not inclusive of 5 unsuccessful calls) were cut off at 1 minute and 5 seconds. I've waited it out and try again after 6 hours but it is still the same. Why is this happening? How can I change my air ticket if phone calls cant go beyond 1 minute and 5 seconds? Thanks!

What wrong with the webpage?.ive tried for so many times to buy a ticket.call to center but the operator told that this problem will be solved in two hours time.yet it's still remain the same after 7hours. I called for second times,tge operator told that he also has no idea what's going on with the page.just asked me to keep trying.

hello. i've been notified by MAS today with regards to the new time and i ask for refund. apparently if you book online the refund request has to be through email and it will take about 6weeks to maximum of 3 months to get the refund back. i really doubt that i'll get the refund back so im wondering if anyone here can share their experience getting refund from MAS. thanks a lot! and of course, i'll never fly with MAS again.

I booked a flight from LDU - KUL for 2nd Sept 2016 for two person through ypur website @ Bookong refernce no X4H71 Later was offered to be upgraded to Bussiness class in which as usual l submitted my offer price. Recieved an sms from the bank on the 30/8/16 that my credit card was charged RM 487.60 @ Approved code T03982 On the 31st August l received an email stating that my ugrading was unsuccessful. Called your MAS call centre on the 1st September inquiring about the discrepency at about 12.00 pm asking why l was charged & not been upgraded. l was informed by your staff that it was corect that l was not been upgraded from BKI - KUL but the charged made was for LDU - BKI in which l never requested for & never in my history dealing with MAS that an upgraded was offerd for MasWings. Then l requested for a down grading from LDU-BKI and to revert the charged made on my credit card. l was told that it was not possible since the flight from LDU-BKI was fully booked ii "It was a FORCED UPGRADING" Since it was not possible, I was kind enough to request for our flight BKI-KUL to be upgraded as well. She told me that it was possible to do so for a RM135per person fee & my flight from from BKI-KUL will be changed from 2100hrs to 2155 hrs. Agreed to do so, my call l was transfered to your payment department in which l was requested to pay RM 270.00 Later my call was transfer to the staff & she appologised that she forgotten to include RM 16.20 for GST and again l was trasferred to the payment dept to pay the remaining RM16.20 Upon completion, l was told that she will notify through an email for my upgradind. Total time spent on cenversation was @ 41 mins Supprisingly upon checked in at LDU airport we were NOT even upgraded at all !!! both LDU - BKI nor BKI - KUL PLEASE look into the matter & i want my refund. WHAT a time WAISTED !!!!

After 5 months , I am still getting excuses and false promises from Malaysian Airlines call center (Fiji office). Staff in Fiji call center continue to lie . I requested the phone number for Malaysian Airlines office in Kuala Lumpur and was told "we don't have it''. Staff in Fiji office laugh and chat in the background. AMAZING !! You should talk to Qantas - they have a form that can be filled in....FFP number, ticket number and copies of your boarding passes needed. They'll then sort it out internally with MAS.

I had a bad experience with MAS! ive been trying to call all the no that i get for their customer service but nobody ever pick up my call! How am i going to complaint or report my losses? i went to sibu on 21 August 2016. On my arrival at 1030am, my bag is not there!I made a complaint and report to Baggage Service Unit.They cant promise i can get my bag on the same day.I had no choice and cant wait for the bag since i had to catch up a boat to kapit with the last boat at 2pm.They dont even bother my necessities for that day! arent they are suppose to compensate me for my necessities during my lost which i dont even know how long it will takes for me to get my bag back.im went to kapit for working purpose and I had to search for a new cloth and my toileteries which in Kapit quite pricy and not so many choice and which MAS should compensate me for that because of their faulty. during my return to KL which should be on Friday 26 August 2016, MAS again pissed me off cause reschedule my flight to the next morning and made me stayed one night at sibu without any responsibility to accomodate me at their cost.i had to bear for the stay in sibu which is not in my plan.arent they suppose to compensate me on that too?

Hi, anyone know how to add more baggage allowance to a firefly booking ? I have gone to the online booking service, which states this is possible to do through the service, but when i log in the only tab are : Change contacts Edit Passengers Change Flight resend itinerary email NO tab for increase baggage ???? Help please !!!!

1).when you ring them, it's always " we are experiencing high volume _ _ _" 2). and then after long message " please use our callback service IF you are given this option " BUT the customer is either never give n this option nor instructions how to get onoto it. Peter Bellew, we dare you to try calling MAS 1300883000 anonymously and to see for yourself, how such frustration increasing turn away customers from MAS - which is such a shame ! We like it and have flown it as airline of 1st choice for ~40 years BUT it might soon get too rotten to be saved. Sigh !

I have flights booked from London to Auckland booked for December. I only booked a month ago and so far my flight times have gone through one drastic change and now a cancellation of HALF of each flight - I still have flights from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland and back, but no flights to/from London. I booked through Expedia who have been trying to deal with these issues on my behalf and they told me today of problems with Malaysia Airlines' systems and also seem to be struggling to get hold of anyone in Malaysia's contact centre. As I have commitments booked for when I get to Auckland (which I have already had to move once), I am desperate to find out what is going on and whether I should book new flights with another airline but am being held hostage by the fact that no one can tell me if I can get a refund or if there are alternative flight options. Annoyingly, the flight option that is supposedly cancelled still appears as available on the MA website (and therefore Skyscanner, etc). 'Stressed' just doesn't come close!
