Dear I have contacted MAS at 03-78433000 4 times this morning... the conversation would be cut off to rate the service after 20 minutes of call... i was unable to complete my request and enquiry because waiting time to get a consultant to answer was already 10 minutes... sigh... i am really speechless... please help and call me at 012-2677101

Guest : Guest : I tried to redeem my enrich miles for flight tickets, something really funny happen whereby the payment cannot get through with a message: "1 error We are having difficulty accepting the credit card details provided. Please validate and try again. This may be due to an invalid credit card type, in which case please provide another one (4613 - 25657)" I don't think there's anything wrong with my credit card because when I try to book the flight with full payment (without mile redemption), it smoothly went through. It seems that the system intentionally blocked the miles redemption. I called MAS customer service many times and their answer was simply "system down" and nothing resolved even after 3 days. They suggested redeeming the miles for flight tickets through phone call but it cost extra RM300 than the online redemption. This is so ridiculously frustrating! Anyone else having issues trying to get through to them? ALWAYS IS THE SAME ALWAYS HAS BEEN Faced this issue for over a year and have informed them directly on the line with the Global Contact Centre, as well as via FB Messenger, and the website feedback (under the 'AskMH' menu). Often the pre-recorded message stops after about 13m25s and it goes silent, but you're actually still in the queue and make get picked up. If not it tends to cut you off or revert to the beginning around the 25-minute mark. Also, once you do get through, if they put you on hold or mute for more than a few minutes (esp during periods of high call volume), you will also have your call automatically cut and put through to the Customer Satisfaction Survey. In the last 6 weeks, agent after agent has promised a call back, including their 'customer call back' staff, but none have done so. And the last agent I was speaking to today said that they aren't allowed to call us during high call periods! But obviously, they haven't been in a high call period permanently for 6 weeks 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Yen1988 : Hi has anyone bought an Economy Flex ticket before? I would like to know if there's any issue when you try to change your flight or getting a refund. The Terms & Conditions on the website is very vague. I'm curious if you really able to rebook as many times as you want without a fee OR you really able to get your money back after cancelling your flight. Yes, you can change the dates as many times as you want BUT you will always end up having to pay extra "fare difference". This happens even if the current ticket prices have dropped. So, beware.

(1160) Called after so long of a wait, they said its because there is an infant. For domestic can just put initials. For international, book as usual BUT without infant, and pay. Then after that is settled call them or go to their office to add the infant (with payment of course).

Guest : I am trying to book extra baggage of 10 kgs but continously getting error - We are having difficulty with the credit card details provided. Please validate the credit card information in your profile and try again. (4620 - 23020) Used multiple cards but still it isn't working, please help out and none of the malaysian airlines cc no are reachable I would advise going into their sales office personally to sort it out. Don't think their website is working properly and no one seems interested to pick up the phone at their end.

This has got to be the worst airline ever. Been trying to book a ticket for days now through their website and payment via credit card keeps getting rejected with the error 4613-message saying they are having difficulty accepting the credit card details provided. From the looks of the other messages, this appears to be an issue with MH's online booking system. All calls to their number are never picked up which leads me to the conclusion that MH is not serious about staying in business. You'd think after being bailed out on so many occasions that they would learn their lesson but I guess I was too optimistic.

I am facing the same problem.. keyed in everything then when time for payment to go through "internal server error"... if MAS wasn't my only flight option I would have gone to another airline! what a hassle just to book a ticket.

I am trying to book online in Malaysian Airlines for the route Dhaka - Sydney. I completed up to stage 3 (services) without problem. At stage 4 (payment), I am facing problem. When I click "continue" after giving all details related to my credit card, nothing happens at all (as if I did click anything!). It doesn't say about any problem with the card. Nothing!! We booked a return trip from LHR to AUK for the 10th February returning on the 9th June. Our return journey was cancelled by yourselves, because of Covid 19. Our travel agent informs us, that they cannot contact you, and haven't received the refund. We have now been waiting 16weeks. Look forward to hearing from you, this is now urgent as we have had to pay for 2 flights. Thankyou

MAS is not taking our view seriously. All they offer is a travel voucher which you can only use for the passenger the original ticket booked under, and need to top up fare difference!
