I think you can contact the emirates support and explain the whole scenario to them, They might be able to help you out and if even knowing all of it they're denying the whole thing then there's something seriously wrong here and you should take this into consideration next time.

How did you get on with Emirates in the end. Just wondered if you have got a final resolution ? We have had one passenger denied boarding on a fully paid first class ticket half way through a 2 leg flight returning back to the Uk. Both passengers were on special assistance accompanying each other. We were given one restricted non upgradeable business class ticket to the same restricted destination which was not in the same class of travel at all with no option despite pointing out we weren’t flying that class. We are regular first class flyers with gold cards. Very disappointed with Emirates, as basically given the price difference between first and business it’s has cost Emirates basically nothing but ruined two peoples flights as they didn’t fly together. Having been downgraded once by being denied 1st boarding and been put in business Emirates have down graded one of us yet again by issuing the wrong class ticket ! Unfortunately it appears there is little sensible business management functioning at Emirates. So they are loosing their loyal customer base who now choose to simply fly with other carriers instead.

John Clifford : As a frequent business class flyer with Emirates myself and my family travelled to Dubai in January 2022. Chauffeur drive from my home to the airport turned out to be a Birmingham City Council taxi. I have never experienced this before. Despite Tristar being called three times prior to the the journey, to explain we had four adults and six large pieces of luggage in our party, the driver looked bemused, stating he could not fit six pieces of luggage in his vehicle. I had to organise it for him, which took a matter of minutes. The journey started and progressed with severe shaking to the vehicle which was raised with the driver. Ultimately, a tyre blew out on the taxi on the M42, ten miles from Birmingham airport. The taxi had no spare wheel. The driver clearly had no knowledge of motorway protocol, suggesting my family got back inside the taxi to stay warm, as opposed to stand behind the crash barrier. When I photographed the driver badge and a bald tyre on the taxi, I was challenged strongly by the driver, who told me I had no right to photograph his car. His aggression was robustly addressed. Myself and my wife spent almost thirty minutes on the phone advising Emirates we were at standing at the side of a motorway in 3C temperature. A few days after arriving in Dubai I raised my concerns, with photo evidence, to Richard Dewsbury and Sir Tim Clark, both senior executives of Emirates UK via email. An email reply received, was in my view dismissive, offering to close the matter with an offer of 25000 air miles per traveller. My reply indicated I was not prepared to be bought off for even 2,500,000 air miles per passenger, that I was not interested in compensation and that I was more concerned about my family being driven in what I considered an unroadworthy death trap! The response to this email was that an investigation with Addison Lee confirmed the taxi was roadworthy. My response indicating this could simply could not been the case, resulted in my email and/or domain name being blocked ! On arrival back in the UK I instructed my IT Manager email Emirates to re air my concerns, as my emails were continually being returned. The reply received was that no further compensation could be offered. My reply to this stating I had never asked for compensation simply bounced, again. All I can say, having been a frequent user of Emirates business and first class travel over many years, is that I am appalled at the way customer concerns, particularly given the concern related to a severely unworthy road vehicle, are addressed, something, which unless I had experienced it, I would have struggled to believe. I have raised my concerns with the CEO office of Emirates in Dubai.

Hello everyone I just graduated from university and I have no experince. Only I made obligatory internship in two school and I added my cv. I get invitation mail from Emirates but someone who working here said that it has to be experience in customer or hospitality service at least one year. I confused because If I go, my travel expenses will be high because it is not in my own city. I would be very upset if I was directly eliminated because of this issue. If anyone has experienced the same or similar situation, can they share own ideas also workers in Emirates ?

It's a shame for Emirates to have such an unprofessional approach towards my broken suitcase upon receipt after my flight from Dubai. Same was reported and after several email they agreed to settle with an 80percent depreciation for a 4 month old suitcase. When I claimed the whole amount following their erroneous calculation they requested me to handover suitcase to their representative to which I agreed but before I even could drop the suitcase I got below response "Following our correspondence I note that you handed your baggage to our team in Mauritius for assessment." "The reports indicate that the damage to your baggage is due to normal wear and tear. Despite careful handling, {minor dents, scratches, scuffs, nicks} can occur during transportation. Such damage is not covered under the airline's liability. Additionally, DPR MRUEK10364 was created to assist you with your insurance claim. Please collect your baggage from our staff at Mauritius airport." The baggage wasn't even handed over ... Obvious abuse and unprofessionalism. A pre planned response for someone claiming their dues due to the obvious negligence and look at their unprofessionalism ...wooooooow.

In an Emirates flight a passenger (already in the aircraft) has been offloaded before departure. There was no security protocol to check all his cabin baggage has been removed ("Positive Passenger Baggage Matching" only for checked in baggage). Is this normal? What if the guy had left a bag in cabin? Is there any specific and mandatory security protocol to be followed by airlines?

Travel comfort, exceptional service. Flying home with Emirates in Business Class was a truly enjoyable experience from the moment the expert driver met you at the door to check-in and service in the Emirates Lounge. Exceptional on-board service and friendly staff are of a very high standard. Clean, neat cabins in toilets and comfortable seats for an extraordinary return trip on such a long journey. Baggage claim at Brisbane Airport was a different matter as bag unloading was a delay and it was frustrating early in the morning to say the least.

In March we (4 persons) have been on vacation to Thailand and we booked via a travel agency tickets at the Emirates from Amsterdam to Bangkok. Because of corona the flight back on 31 March has cancelled and changed into 24 March. But the Emirates cancelled the flight of 24 March. On 23 March there still was a flight back to Amsterdam, but the Emirates refused to rebook us. Back in Amsterdam (with another aircompany), Emirates also refused to pay us back the return flight. It's a shame! Better to choose another aircompany next time.

Is there a special method of redeeming Skywards points? I've tried so many times to upgrade from economy to business class but each time I'm given different reasons as to why I'm unable to do so. I'm beginning to think this is a ploy that you accumulate or purchase points only to be unable to use them.

I traveled with Emirates from Bali to Lisbon last August. My luggage were damaged and some of the personal things I had inside (8 bathing suits) were lost. I already made the complaint but Emirates decided only to exchange the damage luggages. The bathing suits value wasn't refund because they claim that I had no receipts for it. They perfectly know that people rarely keep receipts of bathing suits when know it will be used in holidays... I'm sorry that a company with the reputation and prices of Emirates treats its customers like this

Three hours later they said they found one with a cracked screen. They still didn't bring it to me so i don't really know if they have it or if it is broken. On the 31st January the cheapest Emirates fare for Birmingham (UK) to Harare (Zimbabwe) and return was £628. The cheapest fare for same flights on the 1st February shot up to £785, which was booked and paid for thinking this increase was permanent. Then today, the 2nd February, low and behold the price dropped to £648. What an underhanded stunt to pull !!!

I am absolutely shocked and disgusted with Emirates. We live here in Australia and are Emirates Skywards Gold Members but I sincerely doubt I will ever use this airline again. We are originally from England and our family members still live there. They visit us frequently and we return to the U.K. regularly but because of this incident we will encourage them now to use an alternative airline. The reason being that my Mother, Lillian Pearson, flew from the U.K. in September to visit me. She flew business class and the fare was £3895. Sadly during her visit she died. The distress obviously has been immeasurable. One of the tasks I had to carry out was to cancel her return flight, which I did so via the agent she used to book her original flight. Now I fully understand that there would be admin charges to pay for the cancellation however I would also add that I am 100% certain her seat would have been re-sold. I have just been notified that Emirates have agreed to refund only £580 for the return leg of her flight back to the U.K! I think this is disgraceful and quite honestly totally lacking compassion.

As an ex Emirates cabin crew I can safely say the company is just winging it, From experience the cabin crew with problems get passed on from department to department to the point of many crew suicides, as the quality of management employed are just there for the money and therefore don't care about the actual job. In regards to passengers having problems with lost baggage and airport staff giving wrong information to their so called "frequent flyers" this is because so many uneducated people from low profile countries are employed at very low rate and seem to be careless and not care about responsibilities they are given, due to being paid so little. other airlines such as asian airlines, turkish airlines and even BA have had cheaper flights and a more friendly and helpful attitude towards their passengers.

EMIRATES CAN BREAK YOUR LUGGAGE FOR FREE!!! My carbon bike ( competition , not a cheap one ) was broken on a travel with emirates, I made a claim , and they told me that I cannot get any compensation as I signed a form saying that is a fragile material and I signed a form releasing emirates from any responsability in case of breaking. Looks fine except for one thing: you cannot travel with the bike unless you sign this form . So in other words: either you allow them to break it or you do not check-in the bike. They offer the crazy non-practical approach of sending it on cargo!! ( come on guys... you know this is not easy at all ) . leave the bike X A Lady called Pushan from customer service denied to give me her worker number and denied to give me any information about superiors that I can write to ( come on.. you have no superiors?? ) BE CAREFUL WITH EMIRATES AND BROKEN LUGGAGE!!!!!

I got food poisoning on the A380 flight from LGW to DXB on 6 Nov 2016. Flying First Class! I had eaten nothing else all morning and alcohol was not involved. Emirates response was entirely inadequate - I was not even after compo but they essentially said I was lying, despite my pointing out that the cabin crew knew how ill I had become. Spoilt the first four days of my week off! Normally love this airline but not happy with this outcome.

Anyone else irritated by the way Emirates rig their system online to now allow Skywards members to upgrade if the ticket is bought through an agent. No wonder they're a wealthy airline.

EMIRATES ~ VERY POOR SERVICE - WORSE THAN BUDGET AIRLINES ! We just flight back Hong Kong by A380 from Bangkok beginning of June 2016, Emirates provided very poor and rude service, food supplied but did not supply any beverage; when requested but we got a very rude answer there was a box of water in the tray (very small one). The Flight Attendants were only busy on chatting and enjoyed snacks during flight. These did not only happened in the flight of EK384; same thing happened in the flight of EK385, but drinks would provide when requested ~ better. We took EK385 Economy Class to BKK stay for two days, then transferred Finnair Business Class to CPH from BKK and flight back Hong Kong by EK384 last week. Hope Emirates maintains the most basic service to ALL ECONOMY CLASS passengers, not only provides excellent service to the passengers of First / Business Class; Economy Class passengers also paid. Please RESPECT the job !EMIRATES ~ VERY POOR SERVICE - WORSE THAN BUDGET AIRLINES ! The information is fine but you can’t imagine how difficult is to go through all the process and how badly you will be informed. For the time that you finally are sending your things, you will be paying 50 % more to the original quote, because the information they provide through phone and emails, is changing all the time “because of the policy of the country you are sending the items”. Emirate cargo is bad and they know that for the time you are sending the things, you will pay because you need to finish with it. For me was a big disappointment after all the advertising that Emirates Airlines is so great and customer oriented.

Guest : I have witnessed this manay times with Emirates and when you complain the just ignore you completely. They are the most arrogant airline around and need a good sorting out Stu : Emerates air and ground staff are rude and arrogant. I watched them speak to Chinese tourists like animals. Who do they think they are! I had the same experience. The staff were the rudest, the food was the worst, the delay was the longest and the price was the highest. I am not going to fly with them unless there is absolutely no alternative.

What has happened to Emirates? Are they under "new" management with the aim of only making more money? Reward flights are a joke. There are no more "rewards" as a "reward" flight fr om Glasgow to Perth will cost you 85,000 miles plus 648 Euro's wh ereby a normal ticket for the same distance will cost you 886 Euro's. The "reward"? Only 240 Euro less. A few years ago a "reward" flight meant you only had to pay the airport tax. Is this the reward you get for being a loyal client? Don't even think about using your miles to upgrade your flight. There are never any upgrades available. It is high time that we as clients use our buying power and do something about this attitude of Emirates. Start flying other airlines.

MSI GE60 2PF & Emirates international flight Hi Guys, I own a MSI GE60 2PF laptop and next month I am flying economy international with Emirates and I was wondering if anyone can help me... I dont think I could cope without using my laptop for gaming during the 14hr & 7hr flight..... therefore..... does anyone have experience using a MSI GE60 2P or similar onboard? do I need to purchase anything for it to charge or can I simply use the sockets provided and its all good? Grateful for any help, Eddie

Please Mrs Imane...to forgive they say is divine. I believe the lady may have been in a sad and unyielding state on that flight day, not willing to listen to anybody due to her anger and agony...putting her out of her job will definitely cause her much sadness, just as she did to you and it will lead to similar occurrences to another and yet another that will only create a chain of sadness. Come to think of it...if God had spared your child and judged her because of what happened, now that you're determined to revenge her, what do you think will then happen to your child? its an assumption anyway, but think about it...There must be a balance in everything in life, no matter how long it takes.
