The following are the horrify events occurred in chronological order (the times fr om 9:30PM and beyond are approximated): 6:00 PM: We arrived Delhi, India airport to check-in for our flight to Dubai. 9:00 PM: The staff at the gate counter announced that flight would be delayed. 9:20 PM: The time we were supposedly to leave. 9:30 PM- 12:00 AM: The staffs made series of announcements at approximately 30 minutes intervals that the flight would be delayed. The passengers begin to surround the gate counter and showing the sign of anger. 1:00 AM: The staffs were at lost and unable to inform us the exact status so; they decided to invite us to eat at a small (appox. 40 customers seating capacity) food court restaurant. It was horrible scene, hundreds passengers were standing in line and in the line there were infants and small children crying and screaming. It was deplorable ways of treating the customers. 3:00 AM: The Staff made the announcement that the flight has been cancelled. Again, the staffs did not know what to do next. Several questions were rise such as: What is our next step? When is the next fight? If we leave the airport how could we return with single entry visa? etc. And the staff had no answers to any of those questions. 5:00 Am: The staff made their final announcement that we are transferring to a hotel. It was a scene of chaos; again, we were put through series of standing in line and wait. First it was at the gate counter for check out. 2.) Standing in line for the immigration checkout. 3.) Waiting to retrieve our luggage. 4.) Standing in line to load our luggage onto the bus and 5.) Standing in line at the hotel counter. 6:45 AM: We were finally in hotel’s bed. 10:00 AM: We received a wake up call without any additional messages. 10:20 AM: We went to the front desk to check the status and found that we need to have luggage in lobby by no later than 10:30 AM because the bus was leaving for the airport at 11:00 AM. 11:00 AM: Again, we standing in line and to load our luggage onto the bus. 11:30 AM When we arrived at airport main entrance, again we had to stand in line to check our id by a police officer and adding insult to injury he has no idea wh ere we should go next. As we enter the airport there were no one to agree us to provide us any direction. Several staffs at the airport had no clue and misdirected us as result we were rushing back and forth like a lost child from counter to counter with the fear that we might miss the flight. After 20 minutes of running we finally reached the correct counter and found out that the flight was scheduled to leave 2:30 PM. I am 70 years old and my wife is 67 years old. Thank God we made it through the above horrible ordeals. The anxieties and the stress definitely had added years to our lives. Emirates is the greatest airline we have flown with - until you try getting two domestic tickets paying with Skywards miles. Then the trouble begins. We wish you could make it a little easier. We cannot get seats on Virgin Amerca or Jet blue from either Long beach or lax to jfk one way non stop for March 21. We are now in a nervous state until we can get our seats. I've flown with Emirates on 9 return trips out of London airports, usually in First or Business. I am thoroughly impressed with the onboard service and facilities and I have had nothing but the occasional * . I know for a fact that Emirates cabin crew training is one of the most rigorous in the world. However, the Customer Services and land-based crew service sometimes leave a lot to be desired. Ground crew only seem to perform properly when a manager is standing watching them or shouting at them. Also Customer Services in the UK are a joke. I have written to them twice over the years (with a combination of positive feedback and a couple of constructive complaints). Each time the complaints were dismissed with patronising spin and buzzwords that they had obviously been told to use by their PR psych team (e.g. we completely empathise with your situation (meaning "we're not going to apologise or do a * thing to actually put things right, despite the fact you are a First Class customer!". On the second occasion, I complained that they changed from an A380 to a 777 without telling passengers via text message or email despite one cabin crew advising me that the ground staff told her that the A380 had been pulled from service over 8 hours ago with a technical fault. At least 3 of us didn't take showers in the lounge because we expected to enjoy one on the A380!. However, Customer Services blatantly tried to lie that they had sent out emails to everyone 24 HOURS before (none of my 5 fellow 1st class passengers had received texts or emails either, as I asked each of them onboard). Customer Services then expressly stated that I had bought via a bucket-shop flight discount website and not through Emirates Website, clearly implying that I should not expect the same levels of service etc. They actually apologised for that remark in a subsequent response, but the original attitude spoke volumes and the damage was already done. I still fly with Emirates but only for a lack of serious competition in onboard quality for the routes that I fly.

I'm a fan of Emirates. I've flown a good few times with them in first. I'm in Munich now and I saw an Emirates 380 on the stand. It got me thinking about my next trip with them. If I fly from Munich to singapore in first class it's about £1000 cheaper then flying from Manchester to singapore. Anyone know why this is or if there are even cheaper Emirates European routes to Singapore. As I can fly from Manchester to Munich for under £100 it's a no brainer to do this rather then via Manchester. Any comments anyone
Emirates Airline provides terrible customer service. I recently wrote to them to feedback that their cabin crew are rude and needs to be better trained. This is what they replied: "I believe that we have adequately explained our procedures and demonstrated empathy for your situation." I wrote to them hoping for maybe a sincere apology (which I did not get) or maybe an assurance that they will try to do better so that others will not encounter the same situation I did. However, I definitely did not write to them so that they can demonstrate empathy for my situation!???

I asked. - Maybe the Malaysian authorities will not let you pass. he has answered. - And if they let me go, what right you take my money? I put in his mind the point on İ. Although he has no answer, and he never will, he prevented me without no rights. And what are the reasons that the Malaysian authorities will not let me go, am I a criminal? You see that the airlines did not tell me when I bought the ticket that our company sells the return ticket. I contacted the emirates airlines administration, by email, that their counter let me go. Their reply of 16 Dec. Please be assured that we will do everything possible to respond within 30 days. So I requested a refund for the delay and to this manipulation, because I spent all my money here in İstanbul, for nothing. They said that payment of the return ticket is a law, and regarding reimbursement; our administrative council decided not to reimburse you. And I told them that the stop overl will be held in Dubai, and the problem will be resolved face to face. And this is their last correspondence in February 7th As longer a valid email address, we can not process your request. You see that this airlines exerts injustice. So I asked them to get my money back because the booking day I sent a friend to buy me the ticket, I did not know how he has done, how has he paid, perhaps by his credit card, because after 2 days I did not see him until the present day. And Emirates flight company responds me: Please contact the office / Ticketing Agent wh ere the ticket was purchased for the reimbursement process. They prevented me from going, and they did not return my money, how we call this act ? I like to edit what I suffer (and several other passengers) with an airlines unique care is to pick up the money and to make it to the right path with the customer and get my rights. I have traveled on Emirates airlines since it's inception in the 1980s when I was a resident of UAE. My husband and I were very excited to become a part of the Emirates airline family once again when the routes to Asia from US were introduced. I flew the SFO to India (Bengaluru) route for the second time in 18 months last month (May) with a stop over in Dubai for 2 days. I received an e-mail confirmation 24 hours prior to my travel time. However, when I arrived with my 7 year old daughter at the airport to check in 2 hours prior to travel time, I was informed that our seats had been given away. I had even requested and reserved specific seats for our family 2 months prior to the travel date over the phone with an Emirates customer service representative. We had to wait for 30 minutes and were then given 2 seats to travel to Bengaluru and then were made to rush to the gates to make the flight. I was informed by the agent was checking me in that my seats were given away because I had not checked in online! I told her that I had received e-mail confirmation just the day of travel, confirming my seats and now I was being told that online check in was necessary to ensure getting seats to travel. Our family travels all the time in several different airlines and have never heard of online check in being required to confirm having seats! We had to deal with this same stress once again upon our return journey from Bengaluru at the Emirates check in counter. This time I had confirmed all our tickets online prior to travel as suggested. However, when we were ready to check in our baggages, we were told that my husband's seat was not available and they could not seat us together! We had to wait for 20 minutes and insist on getting the seats that we had requested and wanting to speak to the supervisor before we were finally given the 3 seats together. Once again, they said that they had to hold our seats as the flight was over booked and full. I fail to understand how this can happen to any passenger traveling on an international flight who had confirmed tickets 2-3 months prior to travel date! We arrived on time as per schedule at the airports both the times to check in luggage and followed standard Universal airlines protocol. There was no apology for all the inconvenience and stress that was caused when we were finally handed our boarding passes. The agents at the counter made it appear as if they were doing us a favor by being able to give us boarding passes and seat us together! It was very disappointing to experience all this by traveling on supposedly a World Class Award winning airline!

As you all know the flight was delayed for almost 3 hours , we board and un-board , they never communicated effectively to the passengers at all, they never made interest to feed the people or to give a meal coupon to the passengers. The announcement was if anybody wants to unboard you are allowed to do so; Don’t you think it has to be applicable to every passenger? don’t you think; since the delay was almost 3three hours they had the courtesy to think about the food to the passengers ? Since we were so hungry we paid almost 30 dollar to have our lunch. On our way & back from Dubai to Cochin I have noticed that the passengers asked to for a drink for example; ask for apple juice , the answer is , sorry we run out but will see , they never turn back. The service of Emirates getting poor as I compared my last journey which November2013. As i heard from our friends that, Emirates offers some bereavement fair deduction in the ticket ? I recently travelled with Emirates. In-flight was better than other airlines. But the problem I faced like many others that face was one of my baggage was missing and they could not found it and when I claimed the money they have not yet given to me. Its been almost 60-70 days now but I am calling them 2-3 times a week and asking them about my money but they are saying you have to wait.
I booked a flight with Emerates from Manchester to Dubai, then Dubai on to Cape Town on the 7th APRIL 2014 Leaving Man.on Thursday 5th Feb 2015 at 20.10 arriving in Dubai at 7.10 on Friday 6th Feb. Leaving Dubai at 8.40 on the 6th Feb. arriving in Cape Town at 16.35. Today the 13th Jan. I have received an e mail from them say my flight now leaves Manchester at 20.25 arriving Dubai at 7.40 which is too late to get the connection to Cape Town which leaves Dubai at 8.40. They flight they have now sent me is not the 6th Feb at 8.40 from Dubai but would you believe is is now the 4 am on the 7th Feb. which would now mean nearly 24 hours in Dubai airport. We have hotels, car hire and rail tickets all paid for to arrive in Cape town on the 6th Feb. We are not at all happy, it putting it mildly. I am awaiting an e mail after being on the phone for nearly an hour, whilst they try and sort it out. This flight has been booked and paid for, for 9 months. £1300.00 to me is an awful lot of money to be messed about like this. And I am furious!

I just bought a ticket on emirates and I realized that I forgot to add my middle name to my ticket. Will this be a problem? I called EK and they said that they cant change the name but they put a note on my ticket clarifying my middle name. I feel like such a dunderhead that I made this mistake. Should I be worried? The gate closed no one saw me on my arrival to tell me that. I went to the lounge they said we cannot help you reach your final destination Austin Texas. All we can do is send you to Chicago and you find a way to go to Austin. I said then send me back to Kuwait. They said no you have to pay for your own ticket to Kuwait. I told them I am a platinum member but they would help or even care. I have never been embarrassed and humiliated by an airline. It's not my fault that the plane was late. All airlines help their passengers reach their final destination!! I will never fly emirates ever again!!! I do not see any privilidge for platinum members!!! And I was supposed to give a lecture in a medical conference but I could not. The woman in the lounge didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience!
Incompetent ground staff and poor customer affair service. I did not have good experience on my first flying experience with Emirates. I am flying fr om Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Auckland (AKL) on 2 September 2014 on working holiday purpose with a valid visa issued by New Zealand authority. The visa clearly stated that I do not require to purchase a returning ticket. Therefore I did not purchase a returning ticket back to KUL from AKL. However when I checked in over the counter at KLIA, the personnel refused to check me in and insisted me to purchase a returning ticket on the spot although I showed my e-visa as a proof that I am not required to purchase a returning ticket. I had no choice but purchase a returning ticket on the spot. I felt that this is unfair on my side as the airline personnel has no authority to refuse me to check in as I fulfill the travel requirements with a valid visa and made me compulsory to purchase the returning ticket on the spot to enable me to check in & board the flight. I lodged a complaint with the airline and received a reply after 24 days the complaint lodged but nowhere to be hear as at to date. 3 emails have been sent to request for update but no reply was received. I felt that I have lost my right as a passenger and consumer wh ere expensive air ticket bought on the spot at the airport which in fact there is no need for me to spend that sum of money on the day I board the flight to Auckland. Same flight itinerary purchasedon 2 September 2014 back to KUL from AKL and the price on 24 October 2014 was NZD380 difference. It’s not a small amount. A very good question, why do I need to incurred or bared these cost when it’s not my mistake.

I just changed flight on Emirates airline. The guy on the phone was nice but was zero on company and airline knowledge He first gave me the wrong amount for fare change. He quoted US$202.00 which he said can be paid at the local office which he was not aware off. I gave him the address. Secondly when i got to the office I was told that I have to go to the airport to make payment. The representative stated that the fare is now $270 when I argued she said the Dubai did not update the information. The offices are unaware what one office is doing. Irresponsible , had lack of knowledge . I demand that the difference amount should be refunded . The airline has just lost a very old customer.
My hand luggage was taken from me by a cabin crew staff on board the aircraft. I was told on exiting the aircraft that my bag had been sent to the hold and I should collect at destination, Durban South Africa.....Luggage never arrived. I cant seem to get any assistance as my baggage was not tagged.....A simple sorry seems to be all I can get from Emirates staff. This is a case of sheer negligence. I feel totally violated and anxious and would like a full investigation into locating my luggage. I am reluctantly considering opening a case of possible theft, but honestly hope that will not be necessary! My tickets were booked through some online services fr om Jax to Delhi (India). As Emirates does not fly fr om Jacksonville Florida it was partnered with Jet Blue .My first experience started with me not getting boarding passes till New Delhi . It was told to me to get passes in New York . Upon talking with the Emirates staff after not receiving my luggage in Delhi it was told to me multiple times that Jet Blue never gave them the luggage. I never saw any staff really getting behind a computer for tracking my luggage so I am not aware how this was the conclusion . I asked what are my options as me and my daughter do not even have a change of clothes. The only option as per the staff was they will try to track the luggage but if they cant in next 48 hrs they will give me Rs. 8000 per suitcase. I was not sure how a mere Rs 8000 came into place . I asked and till those 48 hrs what shd I do . Does Emirates provide any interim?This was immediately denied by the staff. I came to my hotel and started with the process of research. I found online from the consumer forums that I am entitled to $50 a day for those hrs when Emirates is tracking the lost baggage. Meanwhile my husband here in Jacksonville called Jet Blue and tracked the luggage till new york which was handed over to Emirates at 9PM I emailed the Delhi Office about the interim and talked to the staff about the same . They agreed after my research( how come this was denied to me previously) I was given a report of the lost luggage by Emirates staff at the airport so that I could inquire about my bags.Again upon calling the Emirates office they asked me for the registration/report/claim number provided to me so that they can look up the baggage .This was again news to me as the report contains no number so obviously Emirates told me they cannot track unless they get that number form me . Surprise again ....as I do not loose my luggage everyday to know about this report /registration/claim number. My baggage was tracked within a day and I was called to the airport to get it . On the airport I asked the staff that they shd give me the cab cost to the airport. The answer from the employee was that they can talk to the bosses and see if that can be arranged as they do not provide the travel. I am not sure how many times and how many people in Emirates lie? Came to know that I did not need to beg for it as this money was my right. Now the luggage was here but two of the suitcases were in broken condition. The Emirates employee with me saw them and told me to email again as they shd be able to replace it . I emailed and the response was they will get it fixed but not replace them .I had a long conversation with the staff that fortunately I am capable of getting my baggage fixed if needed but I do not want that done through Emirates. My simple reason was I do not want patches on my luggage and once I allow Emirates to get it fixed ,they will wash their hands off even if I am not satisfied. Even with so much customer dissatisfaction in the trip they refused to get me replacement for the baggage.I bought my new suitcases with my own money and traveled back home to USA . On my journey back again I had a pleasure of having the worst customer service with Emirates . I had selected child menu for my daughter(8 yrs old) but somehow the flight had less of the child menu so they could not give her the food .On top of this the airlines staff did not even try to get her some fruits or anything else she could eat.This was a cherry on top of the whole trip
This flight has become gross to the extend ..no better service at all the crew member has no ethics to talk n soo rude at the service ....theair attend not even willing to help u out...a very rude n unpleasant way of service very very poor service
My suitcase was damaged beyond repair and being in transit in Dubai was given a temporary case to carry on with my journey on an understanding they will replace it with a equivalent similar to damaged suitcase on my return to London. Now on contacting their offices in London they refuse to hon our their obligation
