Such racist comments can only be made by ignorant people like you...you shall continue to be treated in an ill way for rest of your poor life because its a refectin of the negativity you display...you get what you are...stinking attitude! Guest : Agreed, and I can tell you the reason why? they have hired africans and people from poverty driven countries to get cheap labors and this is the reson. the ground staff/checking counnters and even the Gate staff are very rude. Somebody must tell Ek to stop hiring Africans/south africans on the job not that I am a racist but this attitude is really bad for the passangers. Guest : Not to forget they ask for bribes for extra baggage to be cleared, I dont understand why do they hire african women on the counters...they must hire asians . Guest : This airline has the worst customer service centre we have ever seen. It even beats Easy Jet and Ryan Air which should tell you something. The staff do not give any respect to fare paying customers and they are more interested in their own comfort.

May you please improve on sitting especially for families. We travelled on EK720 on 16 april 2014 and as a family we sat in different seats. This was not the first time. In april 2011, EK 719, we suffered the same fate. It make Emirates not a family compliant flight n beside your check in counters especially at Dubai are not customer friendly. Please make families comfortable and have them sit together.

Let me start by saying this was an experience. The actual aircraft going to dubai from the US was exceptional. However coming back was a nightmare. Our flight was delayed until 3am that morning, after getting on plane we had to sit on the plane until 10am the next morning flight EK231 on march292014. I asked them whts the problem however no flight Attendants would answer my questions. Then the bomb squad searches the plane 6hrs later after refusing to let anyone off the plane. On top of all that, I look at my bank statement, they charged me for 3 tickets not two. The two tickets I ordered at the( actual office) not by phone or priceline or anything was j.brown 176217897601 and the other was p.hoza 1767367036801. I called customer service, they expressed bc it's an old ticket they can't pull up any information even after I gave them ticket numbers and just flew in 1 week ago. She expressed I have to fax my concerns without helping at all. I asked to speak to an manager, after being placed on hold for 20 mins. Another mysterious woman comes on the phone (she wouldn't give me her name or ID number stating it was against policy) rudely cutting me off and saying fax in you tickets and bank statements. I've never been so disrespected in my life. Having that experience was enough for me, I'll never fly with emirates again!!

Flew EK186/432 Business Class on 28.03.14, cabin crew service exceptional. Even cleaned a stained shirt. Best cabin crew for yonks. Some leadership at the top. Dubai Terminal always seems overcrowded to me. Queue at 2.00am for the 8 available showers which are hermetically sealed hotboxes. Emirates could learn fr om Qantas about showers. God help travellers when Emirates bring into operation all the extra A380's and B777's they talk about on their promotional soundtrack. It made me think "wh ere can I go to get away from the crowds and the crush"

I travel to Dubai with Emirates every month for business. Till December 2013 they use to give miles accelerator bonus from Karachi to Dubai and vice versa. But now there is no accelerator bonus from Karachi or from dubai to jfk. Does anybody know about this? On the other hand they are increasing fares every month but not increasing the quality of service. I have been a skywards member since 12 years but now i am thinking to change my regular airline because of less member benefits and poor quality of service.

I am frequent flyer from emirates. it means monthly 4- 5 times . Emirates staff in the airport is treated like a cow always. specially gate staffs. Specially Indian Ladies . Sorry to say am an Indian but in my last 8 years i never see any good indian staff in emirates. They dont know how to speak and convenience passengers .Now i hate EMirates . In my last travel with emirates one lady treated me very badly and I suppose to take this legally. Just i mind her Job. If any body got this type of reaction from gate staff please share rethishjy@gmail.com

A great airline let down by poor service from the Emirates hotel desk in Dubai. Passengers were kept waiting at midnight for the five minute ride to the Copthorne Hotel. Several had young children coming off long haul flights and we're told to wait between 10-15 minutes but we're clearly having to wait much longer with no good information being provided and only when we all stood up en masse did we get any action

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to detail your concerns in an e-mail message of 27 January 2013. On behalf of Emirates, please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience that you experienced on flight EK424, from Dubai to Perth on 22 January. I regret to learn that you were not allocated the seat as per your preference and can appreciate how unsettling this must have been for you. Please allow me to clarify our seating request policy. Whilst we do allow seating requests in the Economy class cabin for Blue, Silver and Gold Skywards members, and families travelling with infants/young children, we do not guarantee seat numbers. Passengers travelling in the Economy class cabin are entitled to request a window or an aisle seat at the time of booking, subject to availability. Whilst this is not a guarantee, it serves to ensure that your seat preference is reflected in the computer system at the time of check-in, when all possible assistance to meet your request will be made. Seats in the bulkhead (bassinet) rows are normally allocated to families travelling with infants, and if there are any remaining seats in these rows unoccupied at the time of check-in, they are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. Seats in the emergency exit rows cannot be pre-assigned in advance and are allocated at check-in at the discretion of the check-in agent or flight supervisor, as they may only be occupied by able-bodied adults, who can operate the emergency exit procedure in the unlikely event of an emergency, following International safety regulations.

We have flown emirates a number of times fr om the uk to Perth Australia, but never again. I had a back operation in September 2013 that has left me with a number of problems. I decided that some winter sun with our family was in order. I contacted customer services before I booked to ensure that they could give me legroom seats (6'3") as I needed to elevate my legs. I was assured that this would be no problem. I decided to book with them as instead of Malaysia airways even though I could pay for legroom seats with Malaysia. After booking my flights (not the cheapest) I went into the sel ect seat option and chose bassinet seats. I again contacted customer services who again assured me that I would be catered for. When I arrived at gatwick airport the lady at check in re-assured me that I wiould be catered for. First flight was fine, although a bit lim ited I was able to elevate my legs. The flight from Dubai to Perth was a nightmare, I went straight to customer services in Dubai as instructed by gatwick, I was greeted by what can only be described as an arrogant cretin who had zero concern with my problem. Not only did he bump me from my legroom seat, he put us both into a middle middle seats. This was the worst ten hours of my life, I had to seek medical advice on arrival which included the need for morphine to control pain and muscle relaxants to stop my back fr om spasms. I contacted customer services after a week who have said we have seating policies....end of. I will never again fly with emirates, nor will any members of my family. Members of my family fly to Perth at least four times a year. We will in future use rival airlines. Emirates/quantas, I hope you are proud of yourselves, going down hill fas.

I travelled with my my husband from Jakarta to Orlando, US on Feb 2'14. Flight EK 201 was arrived 1 hour late in JFK. Our next flight to MCO, change from Jetblue 0283 to Jetblue 183 @ 6.30pm. We arrived in MCO @ 9.30pm. We didnt find our 2 luggages. We have reported to baggage report. Our luggage number: EK 362666 and EK 362667. We kept on calling JFK and MCO almost everyday till today and both to Emirates Rep and Jetblue Rep. The result was zero. We have flew thousand miles away from our country to MCO for attending my oldest daughter's graduation her Master degree and this is the first time we flew with Emirates Airline. And lots of stuffs in our luggage that we need for the graduation day on Friday, Feb 7, 2014. Everytime we called to Emirates or Jetblue, the answer is the same. They still wait for the next flight from JFK or we still tracked it, etc, etc. Because of our case was not the only case. If today we still dont get our luggage back, means that we should spend some extra money for our needs for our big day tomorrow. Will the airlines care about it? I wont ask more to the airline, nothing more than get our luggages back ontime. It is 10 days already. How long should we wait for it? We have travelled all over the world, never been like this. We will fly back to our country on Feb 15'14. Till now there are no call or respons from both airlines. Yet, we do all the call. We do hope all department concern will be more professional and proactive in handling this case.

I recently tried to purchase a ticket from Kumasi Ghana to Bangkok. Emirates office there told me i need $5000 in travelers checks before they could issue a ticket. I have been traveling the world since 1968 and never heard of such rubbish. They said it was their 'obligation' keeping passengers safe for a transit flight. Please advise if this is a world wide Emirates policy and if not, why only in Ghana?

The worst airline to travel with. With the A380 they bring in people like cattle loads from Dubai to Toronto 3 times a week. Had the opportunity to travel in it lately from Dubai to Toronto and that was the worst air travel that I ever made. The washrooms are virtually unusable after the plane become airborne. The long haul flight is not worth taking at all. Recently my friend booked his ticket in November 13 way well in advance for his travel in May'14. Had to cancel his ticket after a month and their cancellation fee itself is more than half the ticket almost. Not advisable to travel in this carrier. It is way overdue that the Canadian Government boot out this carrier from the Canadian skies!

Hello, It was not at all a satisfactory reply. One side you saying that all your Emirates staff are aware to provide accurate information as it's company's priorities. If it was really so , this matter would not have occurred. Please check the loopholes from your side and ensure about the accuracy of information provided to the customers. I don't mind requesting you to even trace the call for that day of November (probably same day of booking i.e 12th Nov) when i called for the same inquiry and got a disgusting misleading information due to which i am facing this issue. The main concern is not about just availing the promotion offer. The focus is the misguiding info provided by your staff due to which the ultimate bearer is the customer. Had i been informed for the same requirement of opting in month of booking, I wouldn't have any problem in opting for the promotion offer in Nov 13 itself .But just because i was informed something else by your help desk staff, here is what i have to bear. This is not at all a fair thing and doesn't match with the standard of service you claim to provide and the customer satisfaction you boast about. Check into your internal help desk department before directly coming to a resolution. Thanks & Regards, CA Ronil Shah

Its my first time travel booking with the Emirates Airlines. My concern is regarding the SKYWARD MILES ACCELERATOR. I booked a flight which was eligible for 17500 skyward miles ( including 7000 accelerator miles ) as shown in your emirates website booking. I booked the same flight. As i was new to this skyward miles program , just before my booking , i made sure about the skyward miles i will earn and how it works and i was assured for the same by your representative. Now after processing my booking, when i logged in my account of Emirates and went in 'MANAGE MY BOOKING' tab , i could see 10500 skyward miles displayed in my booking details below the passenger details. Being a new customer, i again called your help desk to inquire for the difference in miles i.e. 10500 actual & 17500 which i saw on your website. Your representative after inquiring into the same (taking almost like 8-10 minutes ) explained me that : 'THE REMAINING 7000 MILES IS THE 'ACCELERATOR MILES' , FOR WHICH I NEED TO OPT FOR SEPARATELY BY LOGGING TO MY ACCOUNT AND CLICKING ON THE MILES ACCELERATOR LINK IN THE MONTH OF MY TRAVEL' I again reconfirmed the info provided by your representative. I again repeat 'MONTH OF MY TRAVEL i.e. JAN 14 : this was the explanation given to me and definitely i was to rely on the same. Now just for my satisfaction, i called emirates help desk again today i.e 2nd dec 2013 to inquire about the same matter. I was really shocked with the explanation given today. I was told : MILES ACCELERATOR CAMPAIGN IS THE PROGRAM WHICH IS TO BE OPTED AND AVAILED IN THE MONTH OF BOOKING ITSELF TO EARN THE ADDITIONAL MILES AND NOT THE MONTH OF TRAVEL !' i was disappointed with the ridiculous level of knowledge possessed by your representatives. I am a new customer unaware about your program and your representatives led me into confusion. Disgrace Please look into the matter and provide me a favorable positive solution. And i request you to WELL TRAIN YOUR SKYWARD PROGRAM HELP DESK REPRESENTATIVES AS THE INFO IS QUITE MISLEADING FOR THE CUSTOMERS. Thanks

Good day. Why does Emirates not fly to Namibia. Do u know how much income it will generate for both countries . Tourists will double in both countries. Tourist have to fly to South Africa which very expensive. Tourist and business people .from the east will also make good use of Emirates. Namibia is a much more open and friendly county compare to Angola. Namibia is a country with many different cultures and the most peace full nation. The land that can associate with Dubai desert. It will be to the advantage of both countries . It will be appreciate if you take this wonderful opportunity into consideration. Best regards and hope to hear from you soon. Rose

Dear Sir/ Madam 1. I am a British citizen. I booked a return flight by Emirates, London Dubai Dhaka, first on 26/27 October 2013, which I changed to 17 November 2013 to EK8, and 18 November 2013 EK582 by paying an extra surcharge of £100 following an advice by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office against travel to Bangladesh in view of the current turmoil and restricted safe vehicular movement in the towns and cities of Bangladesh due to the prevailing strikes. 2. I also have to fly internally from Dhaka to Chittagong by a domestic airline and these flights have become very irregular in the current circumstances. 3. I have been advised to change my flight from 17/18 November to 14/15 December 2013. 4. I request you to allow me to change my itinerary without a further surcharge in consideration of the above circumstances. 5. I request you to send your instructions waiving the above fee to my travel Agents. Dolphin International Travel, Dolphin Square London SW1V 3LX Fax 02076305491/ Tel 02078340394. Very strange behaviour of Emirates is the miniumum I can say! I'm a falcon breeder and used to export the falcons thru Emirates to Dubai and Doha. Today my falcon nwas not accepted with all legal documentation and also I'm a legal breeder to export to all the world and the answer of Emirates was that they only accept falcons if the destination was a zoological society...This after have received at least 15 falcons sent this year to private falconers in Emirates!

Dear Sir Mam , I am Mrs Imane Karouach , i just came last week on this date on your Emirates flight all the way from Morocco Casablanca to India & Dubai Transit . Date 27 OCT Casablanca Mohamed v . EK -Emirates airlines REF: JN6P5J & reservation number ( Dubai 9714-214 my Seat number from Casablanca to Dubai was 26 C flight number EK 501...this flight duration is 8hr 20 mins. I am 34 years old and pregnant and i had the worst experience entire my life and because of one of your crew lady. even your other crew member did witness ...and i didn't have food entire 8:20 mins because of this heartless cold blooded girl in your crew ....the problem is while they were serving food lunch time i asked for couscous that time Egyptian crew guy was serving us as i opened my meal on d spot i asked him pls if you can change it he said fine give me sometimes ill send you the fish meal and he left serving with the food trolly , after 10 mins he sent me the meal in her hand the same lady am complaining to you and to God of what she did to me . She came am starving and pregnant and waiting all the people are eating she came and she saw my previous meal open and she said sorry i cant give you this your meal is opened i told her its open but its full and i did show it to the Egyptian guy crew and i was waiting if there is more he will send me ...and i am pregnant you cant just take it back . And shamelessly she left and a Moroccan girl crew came to me she saw me crying then she called her 2 times i swear by my baby from the airlines phone and that heartless girl crew she ignored me till i start crying for 2 hours and i did the complain on the flight and a lady manager of the flight she was British she came to me she was nice and she and some other crew insisted that i should eat they brought me food but i didn't eat entire flight i refused back then because it was so humiliating and she made me cry for so long , its just so cheap to bring food till the person and to take it back that shows she has no manners and no background , so i was on strike punishing my self not to eat for 8:20 mins This evil girl came to me after i filled the form trying to say sorry and all but that was just not fair i told her to go back now and i will curse her life time for making me cry & hungry me and my baby i just wish she will end in hell this kind of people don't deserve to be in such known & respected airlines like Emirates Airlines ... i could had miscarriage or something bad as already i had a huge headache because of not eating but i cant even have headache tablet because not advisable during pregnancy . What i request the Emirates Airlines main responsible people is to take a decision about this lady evil she is lucky my husband was not with me in the flight and i am a calm person she was really lucky but now we will not spare her we will continue our complain true many websites on Tweet on Facebook whatever it will take we need her to be out of this Job . Here i am giving her name [ BOJANA MARKOVIC ] Please i request you to take an action about this behavior from this heartless lady in your crew and keep me updated it giving a bad reputation to your great Emirates Airlines and i am sure there are many girl waiting for the opportunity to work in your crew and i am sure they deserve more than she did , her behavior was not human behavior as she was my belly so out clearly pregnant women asking you begging you to give her the food and she left shamelessly with the food in her hand , this behavior belong for cheap bars maybe not in a respectable airlines like Emirates Airlines . My emails are imang.k@hotmail.com & emi.k@rediffmail.com & imabluestone@gmail.com I am waiting for your point of view of the matter . Warm Kind Regards Mrs Imane Karouach

Emirates , always had good service with emirates ok when everything runs smoothly, they deceided to take our baggage off at Dubai airport , we were flying to koh samui thailand .We could not get anybody to help us trace our baggage , we flew in on Sunday , airport promised us luggage for monday evening , no show no phone call , rang emirates in dubai, england , thailand nobody wanted to help , rang our travel rep in england not much help either , koh samui airport gave us a code for lost luggage , this was for bangkok airlines , so could'nt trace luggage through emirates website. luggage finally arrived tuesday night. we did'nt have any other clothes or toiletries. my husband has a bad heart condition, only travelled because our daughter was getting married , this was a real nightmare and spoilt what should have been a lovely holiday . we now have a mobile bill of £250 and also paid another £20 hotel phone bill.

Extremely bad service with a terrible attitude towards economy class passengers !!! CGK-Dubai. First time flying with Emirates. I had a really unpleasant encounter with an Emirates steward (a middle eastern). He is extremely rude and foul, raising his voice at me and we would have broken out into a fight and attracted the whole flight’s attention had I not stepped away. Seriously, people still act like that, talk about grownups. This is a completely distasteful experience and I will never put Emirates on top of my list for travel ever. Nor will I ever travel with Emirates again !!!

I am writing about my great disappointment after travelling with Emirates fr om Auckland (EK 407 and EK 001) to London Heathrow, on the 4th / 5th September 2013. I was travelling alone with my 17 month old daughter, am 3 months pregnant, and did not receive the help and attention I expected to receive. Although I had booked in advance a bassinet seat for my daughter and I, the staff did not allow her to use the bassinet as she was ‘too tall’ – therefore resulting in me having to hold her for the entire flight. This I might have accepted, but when I was in transit in Dubai I met another family who had a 20 month old boy, who was at least a few inches taller than my daughter and who was allowed to use the bassinet throughout the flight. As Emirates and their staff have such a great reputation for being so good with children, I felt extremely disappointed with the service that I received, especially on the Melbourne to Dubai and Dubai to London legs. No offer of help whilst eating was offered so I had to just eat bread as I could not eat the hot meal with my daughter on my lap, and when I asked a member of the cabin crew if they could possible hold her when I went to the toilet, I received a very reluctant response. The Emirates staff, when I was booking my ticket, assured me that I would have a baby buggy to use at Dubai airport and that our personal buggy would be there for collection as soon as I stepped off the plane at London Heathrow. Both of these did not happen. When we arrived in Dubai I asked a member of staff and they told me that I had to find a buggy in one of the Emirates lockers which were scattered around the terminal. After about 40 minutes I did find one, but as you can image carrying my daughter, bags, being pregnant and after being on a plane for the previous 19 hours, I was totally exhausted and in great discomfort. When I arrived in London Heathrow, our buggy was not waiting wh ere we disembarked the aircraft (which I was told would be the case), and when I asked a member of the Emirates ground staff I was told that I would have to collect my buggy at the baggage claim area and I would not be able to receive any assistance carrying my bags or daughter as it is against Emirates policy. Nearly in tears and totally exhausted at this point, I was forced to carry all my bags plus my daughter through to collect my buggy, and since then I have had to go to the Doctors about severe back pain as being pregnant one should not be carrying so much for such long periods of time, especially after travelling for 30hrs! Last year I flew with my baby from Auckland to Heathrow and back 2 times with both Qantas and Singapore Airlines, and I now realise that both of these airlines were considerably more considerate and accommodating to parents flying with young children, offering a much better service, and also better food options for young infants. I am returning back to Auckland with Emirates on the 5th October, and I must admit I am dreading the flights, fearing I shall get the same lack of support from your Emirates staff. If I could afford to, I would cancel my booking and rebook with a different airline but unfortunately this is not the case. When I return to the UK next year, when I shall be travelling with 2 small children, I shall definitely consider booking my flights with another airline, and |I feel that I cannot recommend Emirates to my friends in New Zealand if they are travelling with young children.

I was on work assignment to Glasgow UK. I booked returned flight through Emirates. While going from Mumbai to Glasgow(14-05-2013) through Dubai I did not faced any problem. However while returning to Mumbai, I had very bad experience from Emirates staff. My return flight was on 17-Aug-2013 from Glasgow.I was carrying one laptop bag and a small trolly bag as part of my cabin baggage. While coming to Glasgow, staff at Mumbai did not asked me to weigh laptop bag along with second cabin bag. however while returning they insisted that I can carry single bag as my cabin baggage. Due to this I had to check in my trolly bag which they charged to me as extra baggage, which costed me heavily. After telling the staff that while coming to Glasgow, staff at mumbai did not objected, they gave me reason of policy and because flight is full they cannot allow two bags as cabin baggage. I want to ask to Emirates, whether the policy is used as per their convinience? Secondly nowadays every IT professional has separate laptop bag apart from cabin baggage. So airline should consider the requirement of passenger. On one side airline is claiming of luxary , and more luggage one can carry and on another side as per their mood and conditions they are charging passengers. I lost my hard earned money which is definetly very dissapointing. While doing check in the lady at counter was very adamant and arrogant while talking. She was making feel to every passenger as if carrying laptop bag is a kind of sin we had make.Although I was very positive while going to Glasgow, however while returning back after loosing 250GBP I will definitely not recommend this airline and will see to it that I don't travel with them again. Is there any way I'll get my money back? If they would have not allowed me at Mumbai, I would have returned one bag with my family there itself.
