Bad is a understatement for this airline, the only pros is the air tickets are cheap. Apart from that there is nothing positive about this airline. Aviod taking this airline & if you have transit via Vietnam then it's a nightmare, the security check, boarding all suck.

I booked a flight. But I did not get any booking confirmation and the money got reserved. What should I do? I really need to go to Vietnam but don’t want to pay double. I booked on the vietjetair website. Is it better to book on another website trip.com.

Hi, I booked my tickets from delhi to bali through vietjet. I have the booking confirmation mail and the booking code is mentioned in it. Now, when I go to my bookings on vietjetair.com … there it says reservation code does not exists. Why is this happening? Please help !!!!

I tried the first name - last name trick (I don't have a middle name) and it still didn't work. I've tried all sorts of combinations. Nothing works.

Guest : For Vietjet Air, you should put the Last name as First Name and First Name as Last Name. This just saved me! I have been trying to contact vietjetair so many times and nobody answers! Thank you so much!!!

This is BY FAR the worst airline ever!!!! and had flew old soviet airlines... but this is way worse. No responsability, check in ladiesndont know what they doing (literally took 20mins for me to check in, and that is after i waited almost an hourin line), they dont communicate so everything is a mess... people lost theor flight even when they came 3 hours before... just because vietjet people are slow at everything

I had the same issue and the "07 June 2022 04:06:00 Guest" suggestion below worked for me when I put my actual first (given) name in the "Family Name" field and my middle name and then last name in the "Middle and Given Name" field

Hi did you manage to find your reservation code. I have just booked two separate flights and the same thing is happening ' reservation code does not exist'. Did you get it resolved may I ask?

Never travel with this airline its the worst airline ever...delay and they take no responsability.. .had 2 conection flights and lost both...had to sleep over and buy new tickets... its a NIGHTMARE....BE CAREFUL...Email quick automatic response and counter office gives you email...

Ptap : You should type in your names in a different order. In my case my first name was entered as my family name and my middle names and family name as my first name. "reservation not exist" Also, Customer Service not exist. Airline barely exist !

I’ve the same issue booked a flight with Vietjet air but can’t find any details on the flight as booking code ‘does not exist’. Received itinerary but money never came out of account for the flight.I’m hoping this means it won’t as after reading these reviews this airline sounds like a scam.

i payed 2500bt for my wife one way phuket to bkk , i payed 6000bt for extra luggage and 30kilo and 15 kilo golf bag i was charged extra 1100bt for golf bag ,called head office was told 30 kilo max ,, will never fly this airline again

In summary they sell ticket don't fly and don't refund. How do you call this? I have the prof of all the rebooking the sent. to me When I asked for a refund they refused. Avoid if you don't want to lose money.

my flight was cancelled, and did not get any notification or email (FYI Ticket was booked using there official website) and they told me that I will get refund within a month, it has been more than 2 months and I havent received the money yet. They are not replying on email. Worst customer service ever. Travel date was April 2020, flights got cancelled due to covid, refund notification was sometime in August

I was told I would receive a refund as my flight was cancelled but the credit card I used was cancelled. Vietjet ran me & I tried to explain that the credit card I used to book my flight was cancelled but the lady couldn't understand me. Can someone please help me.

Vietjet staff is not replying to any mail. They just create a generic mail and send it to everyone to inform that they have cancelled your flight and you can get cash refund. But once you apply for that refund no one will reply you. Vietjet is the worst airline i have even seen in my life, they blatantly cheat there customers.

I've been chasing the cash refund that Vietjet staff had promised since 8 Mar 2020. Unfortunately there was no formal reply and I encouraged all of you to stop patronising Vietjet as they are running a fraudulent business.

Vietjetair has Kiran : i also had the same problem, i gave the credit card details and pressed payment and the window show card is been declined but the money was debited from my account and no response from the viet jet. their website is a scam so please don't book them. I have just been a victim, it was charged from my account and shown card declined in the airline. How did you resolve?

Hi, We booked airline tickets with you 2 days ago and we have still not received email confirmation. We do not have the booking number because your website cleared before we could make a note however our bank has been charged for the flights. Same story with me. Tried to book VietJet flights on-line with overseas credit card. Told on numerous occasions that transaction declined - contact your bank. I did but it certainly is not a problem with my Australian bank. Now I see I have been charged for each declined transcation, total over US$1,000. Have rung VJ customer service but either had to wait too long or have been cut off. Sent an email to VJ today so am waiting to see how this develops. Recommend not booking on-line. This problem has been around for at least 3 years judging by my internet searches.

A.N : Booked a flight for 25th June, website declined my card so I tried a few more times. Card statement stated that I purchased the SAME flight for the SAME passenger 4 times. Vietjet not picking up and card issuer said that they cannot do anything about it. Has anyone managed to get back their money? Update - I went ahead to book additional flights (with a different airline). Money was refunded back into my bank as the merchant (Vietjet) did not claim the money. Got it 10 days after I first attempted to book the flight. Vietjet took more than 5 days to reply my initial email, but provided no help at all. Contacted my card issuer instead, where they told me to wait for 10 days, else if the money was claimed I can file a merchant dispute.

On 15thJune 2019 booked Vietjet ticket to Hanoi from Singapore on behalf of Nguyen Thi Hieu, departure 17th June, Return 27th June. Paid by Visa which decline 4 times but payment have been deducted 4 times when checking with the bank, no confirmation of flight whatsoever. Called their so-call hotline many times @ +8419001886 it's ringing but nobody is answering, so sent email for refunds. The response was need to wait 3 to 5 working days. Hopefully will get my money back. First time encounter such a very bad service. Others airlines don't have this issue.

Card got declined but a check with bank revealed that 2 payments have been made. REceived no email confirmation and the 24/7 hotline is not working. Have you had any progression with this? Vietjet had triple charged his card and provided no ticket confirmation. His bank stuck him with the bill. Today, the same thing happened to me. The website was down, so I tried the app. The app gave me three decline messages, so I tried again three times. And this is where they got me. They charged my card three times, yet I received no confirmation email. How did I learn of the deception? I learned about it when I called my bank to complain that card had been denied. The bank agent told me that it had not been declined. It had been charged three times. When I asked what could be done, Bank of America said, wait until it actually posts and they would see what they could do. The charges are only pending now. I explained that no fool would purchase three tickets one minute apart from each other on the same flight for the same passenger. It's impossible to sit in three seats at one time. The bank said wait and see. Looking at the posts in this forum, this is not going to turn out well. What's the outcome? I got mine too. Charged four times. Account still on hold.

I Paid My flight ticket,, THE Vietjet app just download 30 second My Booking info and visa Cart Numbers Then Vietjet app stopp working and i get info in mobile have No internet connection. I called Vietjet customer service, who could not locate my confirmation number or itinerary number and suggested that I wait 3 to 5 business days, in order for the finance department to figure it out. I then called my bank, which at this time, cannot do anything as it is still a pending transaction. Without thinking, I blocked my card. Hopefully, I will get my money back and no bad surprises. My experience with using credit cards online in vietnam is everything appears to go through, you will see the pending charge appear on your card, but they automatically cancel anything purchased with foreign cards and your tickets will never get issued so no reservation exists. So the pending charge goes away by itself in a few days. For vietjet air tickets, find an online travel agent that takes card and book through that. I've had this happen on 3 different web sites, even though they all say they accept master card, visa, etc unless its issued in vietnam they dont accept it.
