Does anyone know if it matters if the name on the ticket is in the wrong order as your passport. For instance, on the ticket it has my first name, last name but in my passport it is last name, first name.

For those of your getting "reservation number is not exist" or "reservation code does not exist" when trying to find your flight booking with the reservation code and your name, try this. For the "reservation code" field, use the reservation code with all caps and no # at the start. For the "family name" field, use your FIRST name, ie. "John" in the name "John Smith". For the "middle and given name" field, use your MIDDLE and LAST names with a space in between, ie. "Middle Smith" in "John Middle Smith". Hope this helps.

Hi! Same happened to us. Have they gave you any solution? Guest : I’ve the same issue booked a flight with Vietjet air but can’t find any details on the flight as booking code ‘does not exist’. Received itinerary but money never came out of account for the flight.I’m hoping this means it won’t as after reading these reviews this airline sounds like a scam.

Hi! We have the same problem. We have an email with the reservation but without booking number. The tickets had been already charged in our credit card. Have you found any solution? Hello guys I did not indicate my surname inside my flight ticket so instead of having my full name it is only my first name on the flight ticket . When I informed the trip advisor about this issue , they are charging me 260 SGD for the name change even though It is not a transfer for the ticket to another personnel . What should I do ? I am not able to contact the hotline directly either because the hotline they indicated was a Vietnam number .

I received a mail which says our flight from Vietnam to Bangalore has been cancelled. Can you guide us on how to get back from Vietnam to Bangalore on the same day or next. We are traveling to Bali for 7nights and have made all reservations. Kindly suggest us an alternative to reach Bangalore from Bali. I have booked a ticket from India to Vietnam in December. But that flight is not showing up anymore on Vietjet website. I could still see my booking under bookings but I am wondering why is it not showing on Vietjet website anymore

You guys are panicking for no reason. He is assuming that airline will cause issue, but anyone who book flights with vietjet will put their first name and last name in full name text box. There is no scam by airline, this is just him assuming that airline won't let him check-in

It worked for me was there any issue while boarding because of the name change? When you book your flight they ask you for a full name. There are no separate box for first name and last name and no instructions to put last name before first name. I haven't boarded yet but I don't think as a passenger I have done anything wrong

Guest : I had the same issue and the "07 June 2022 04:06:00 Guest" suggestion below worked for me when I put my actual first (given) name in the "Family Name" field and my middle name and then last name in the "Middle and Given Name" field was there any issue while boarding because of the name change?

Hey guys, if you are not able to find your booking under My Booking. Please try to put your first name under Last Name text box and your last name under your First Name text box. It worked for me

for ref: VJ897 Saigon- Bali 16Jul same happened to me. after my early check- in, there were 3 gate changes. of course my flight was delayed. Just a short time before boarding, their agents hurriedly arrived with maybe 5- 6 portable scales. Only foreigners singled out of the gate line, of course including me. I was going to take my computer out of my carry- on. The agent said no.. instead put my camera on the scale too. My hand- carry excess fee of +95US was mare than my seat cost. I could have a bought a separate seat just for my carry- on, & my carry- on's carry- on. VietJet is a POS excuse of an airline.

Guest : boarding in Saigon. if you are a foreigner, please be advised you may be singled out at the boarding gate and have your carry- on baggage weighed. any unattached hardware, as a computer & camera, will be also be weighed with your baggage. vietjet is an ugly joke of an airline. it will be a stiff cost to you!

Hi, has anyone managed to at least get their money back? My transaction on Revolut bank is pending. In the event that it is not collected by the merchant by the 14th, I get my money back. Has anyone gotten it back? I will avoid this company, I will never try to rely on it. I would rather make 2 stopovers using Vietnam airlines

Card got declined but a check with bank revealed that 2 payments have been made. REceived no email confirmation and the 24/7 hotline is not working. Have you had any progression with this? The exact same thing has just happened to me and they've taken the money 4 timesSame here. 4times. Waiting for refund. Sent email as promised from 3 to 5 days to response. Paid by Visa. Bank acknowledged the amount is deducted from Singapore to Hanoi. Hi same issue here? Did u managed to go for the flight? Tks

I would like to buy check in baggage and hot meal for my trip, I have filled up all the card details and end of the transaction, the payment failed but my money already withdrawn in my bank, how can I contact Vietjet to check? Same thing happened to me while buying the luggage, no response from the airlines. What do I do know?

have booked my tickets for two sector travel for two passengers, (self and wife) on Vietjet website. First sector from A) MUMBAI to HO CHI MIN. Flt No VJ 884 - Date 13 Nov 22 & return B) HO CHI MIN to MUMBAI. Flt no. - VJ 883 Date 20 Nov 22 & second sector C) HO CHI MIN TO HANOI. Flt no - VJ139 Date 13 Nov 22 & return D) HANOI to HO CHI MIN. Flt No - 169 Date 15 Nov 22. An amount of Rs 28421.72 for first sector & Rs. 10791.54 for second sector has been charged from my credit card no XXXX XXXX XXXX 6683 of State Bank of India. After lots of problems paying one day, all went through quickly today and i got an immediate email with all the info that says ITINERARY with a Booking #. But for 5 hours now this # does not show up on their website under "manage bookings". Nothing but trouble with them... Called and message said "too busy" and hung up. Doesn't anyone regulate these airlines and booking agents online anymore?!!! i went directly to airline site and paid more and they are just as bad.

Has anybody managed to get their pending payment back? I have tried to purchase ticket via the app and payment went through... even though there is a reservation error message. There is also no gateway authentication... PLS BE CAREFUL GUYS

Dear all, I have booked a flight from Singapore to Hyderabad that too to and fro my money got deducted from my credit card no ticket booked..I have sent them mail but no any response, then I checked in internet and found I m not the only one, can anyone tell please that refund comes or not...It will be very helpful as I don't have money and I have to make some arrangements then Regards Ayush sharma
