Malaysian Airlines never travel they are cheating peoples money, they close their gates way before the time and then they say that you are late, and leave you with no choice but to pay a penalty .. (This is a new way of swindling i assume) The ground staff at Checkin in counter is so rude, when i asked for a explanation so as to why was the gate closed 75 minutes before take off she just got pissed off and literally threw my IC on the counter. she said we cannot do anything the gate is closed you go to ticketing counter and pay a penalty if you wish to fly or do what may please you. is this the way you speak to your clients. it was not only me but i did see few other passengers stranded and all where given the same treatment. USELESS AIRLINE CHEATING AND ROBBING the people.

Thanks Stefano If you don't need a visa for Malaysia, then you can go out of the airpport of course. Normally you will get your boarding pass already in Indonesia for the whole way to London, and your luggage will be checked through, also if there will be a stopover in the night. But don't forget that sometimes immigration control could be long, so be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure of your flight onward to London. If you need your checked in luggages, then you must tell it at the check in in Indonesia. so they will give you only the boarding pass to KUL, and before continuing to London the next day, you must check in again in KUL for London.

This is too much right . i wish i could talk to CEO to resolve issue Hello, I think you looked for a oneway ticket which are normally more expensive than a return ticket for international travels. If the flight is quite full, then in Economy Class they sell Flexible Tickets, which could be more expensive then a Business Class ticket with restrictions. It is normal with most airlines. Only LCC do it in a different way. That the rates can change during the booking if you are too slow during the booking process - this happenes with nearly all booking machines. And please never forget that the prices Malaysian Airlines is stating at the start of a booking are always without taxes. So you should look to the box right beside of the date and fare to see the total fare (included taxes). I know, that's not very nice, because you always feel happy first to see low prices, but then the taxes will make the price higher. Hope that someday MH will change that on their website. But unfortunately also at the malaysian airports in the restaurants you will find that strange thing: prices are promoted without taxes. very sad, it is same strange as they are doing that in the USA

Normally as long as you wrote your family name correctly inside the "family field", then it should be ok, then your family name would appear in the right way and only the given names are cut.

I was looking for many dates now, many domestic flights around 98MYR, which is not really expensive - specially if you calculate the included 30kg. So many deals at the moment - since already minimum 1 month.

Guest : I have flights booked from London to Auckland booked for December. I only booked a month ago and so far my flight times have gone through one drastic change and now a cancellation of HALF of each flight - I still have flights from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland and back, but no flights to/from London. I booked through Expedia who have been trying to deal with these issues on my behalf and they told me today of problems with Malaysia Airlines' systems and also seem to be struggling to get hold of anyone in Malaysia's contact centre. As I have commitments booked for when I get to Auckland (which I have already had to move once), I am desperate to find out what is going on and whether I should book new flights with another airline but am being held hostage by the fact that no one can tell me if I can get a refund or if there are alternative flight options. Annoyingly, the flight option that is supposedly cancelled still appears as available on the MA website (and therefore Skyscanner, etc). 'Stressed' just doesn't come close! From today on wards i will won't trust all airline under Malaysia airline as they are cheating customer with just a add in mid name after received confirmation of receipt. *Total progress from purchase ticket til received email below 5 minutes coz i found there is and error and i imedialy call and 1st call said charges 50 . 2nd call said no charges . End up still come out an email as me follow the terms and conditions. Shame on you. MAS airline.

I did contact the bank,afraid theres something wrong with my acc,but then there's absolutely nothing goes wrong with it.Not even any record with the issuing bank of any attempt purchasing a ticket from MAS system.Do something with your online system guys!
I have raised complaint to the social media regarding Malaysian airlines on 2nd Jan 2017 vide complaint no Malaysia Airlines case: RES598958, but till date there is no response. They don't take care of their passenger's, especially kids. My daughter (9yrs) was travelling from Mumbai to Sydney on 26th Dec 2016 through flight no MH-195. This was our 1st journey through Malaysian Airlines and it said “The First Impression is the Last Impression" and our first impression towards Malaysian Airlines was worst. 1st Incident: When we got our check in done online, we found the flight has got prepone and the departure time was 11.25 pm instead of 11.45 pm. But the flight actually departed at 12.22 am (delay by 57 mins). 2nd Incident: My daughter was travelling with one of our close relative (Sr citizen), but seat allotted to her was 20A and the seat allotted to our relative was 12A. On requesting to the flight attendant, they didn't bother to get the seated adjustment done and my daughter has to all alone travelled till Kuala Lumpur. 3rd Incident: On reaching Sydney on 27th Dec 2016 they waited for almost 1 hr to get the luggage and later inquiring with the airport authorities, they found the luggage was not boarded in the flight MH-141 from Kuala Lumpur. The Airport authorities promised us that the luggage would be delivered by 28th Dec 2016 by afternoon, but the luggage was not delivered on time instead we received a phone call stating the luggage would be delivered between 7 pm to 10 pm, but the luggage arrived after 11 pm. My daughter was on meditation and due to non-delivery of the luggage on time she had to stay without her medicines for 2 days, due to which she fall sick and had to show her to the doctor. 4th Incident: We have already informed the authorities well in advance for Hindu Veg food, but veg food was not served and my daughter had to eat only few pieces of watermelon from Mumbai to Kuala Lumpur. The same incident was repeated with me. My flight departure time was 11.25pm, but it actually departed at 4.25 am, due which I missed my connecting flight from Kuala Lumpur. At Kuala Lumpur they made us wait and then arranged for flight to Sydney from Singapore. On reaching Singapore, the authorities told me that Malaysian airlines have not issued me the seat number and hence my ticket has got cancelled. After requesting and as i had the boarding pass issued from Mumbai, I was issued another ticket. Malaysian airlines is the worst airlines and I would never ever recommend anyone to travel through this airlines. I have escalated my query to Mr. Mohd. Salleh Ahmad Tabrani, Director of Customer Services, on 15th Jan 2017, but till date no revert. I think this airline is the worst airlines and no one should travel through this airline.

Talked to different men each time and promised will get back to me but yet it's just a lip service! Until this morning , I still can't get the same flight as my friend due to the schedule change from MalaysiaAirlines! Due to the irresponsible act from MalaysiaAirlines I need to bear the higher cost of accommodation in Japan for SURE !I called the Malaysia customer service again and still get no proper answer and just ask me to wait for the email which I really sick of it! My friend decided to help me to call the (Singapore ) Malaysia airlines customer service and guess what! Problem solved less than 5 minis ! I was booking a ticket for my sister at Kuala Lumpur (I am in Sarawak at the moment), but when everything was done and the payment was confirmed, I noticed the ticket has my name on it instead of my sister's (our name are almost the same except for a few letters). I called the MAS line service and said that it MIGHT be possible to change the name but I have to try and go to the local office and ask there. I hope I can change the name cause my family just do not have that much money to buy a new one with the same price. But since this is still because of my carelessness I am willing to pay any penalty that I might get.

Malaysia Airlines is the only airline I've known with such a * website. It doesn't work. Check in or Manage Booking doesn't work at all. They responded to my complaint and gave me a case number but 12 business working days afrer, still no response to my query. I just want to manage my booking and choose my own seat! The worst airline you can imagine. Six times business class and six times problems with their seats. Air stewardess said to me, the maintenance people were informed but still the same problems. ANY MAINTENANCE ON THIS AIRLINE??? When you fly with MAS. they will not upd ate your points many many months after if you are lucky. When you phoned up, they cut your line off constantly. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE GROUND STAFF YOU CAN IMAGINE. IQ of those staff were so low that you need to explain and explain and explain, again and again. No wonder they hire the new CEO, he's also a piece of *** rejected from abroad and got a job with malaysian airlines. Wrote to the new CEO P. Bellew, he replied "Hi, Sorry I am on vacation in an isolated part of Indonesia with no access to email. I will try and get back to you after the 30th October. Sama sama. Peter Bellew" Judge for yourself, what kind of *** *** will se t his automated email like this. An Irish CEO who work for a Malaysia company and don't really know the Malaysian word Sama Sama??? We live in SW France and it is my wife’s 50th this month, so as a surprise I booked online direct with MAS ( MH3 ) last Spring a holiday to Bali, her favourite place, for the family ( 4 of us ). As MAS have problems they have closed all their European points of departure except for Heathrow. So to connect with their flight I booked a BA flight out of Toulouse which fell outside the “ minimum connecting time “. And all was good. This week we have received notification from MAS that they have moved their flight back by an hour meaning that our BA flight now arrives too late ( or the MAS flight is now leaving too early ! ) I have pleaded with MAS to at best refund but at worst and the minimum to put us onto their previous flight or the next ie: MH1 that leaves in the evenings. This they have refused to do this despite our previous loyalty to them as an airline over the years including flights to Asia in Spring 2016. I have spoken with Agents, travel experts, other Airlines including BA all of whom without exception have stated that given the circumstances ( and MAS and BA are part of One World ) they would have put us on the next flight subject to availability.......and that this was the industry norm. They can not understand why MAS are so inflexible and uncompromising. There have of course been consequences........to now connect with the original flight I have had to cancel for a charge the 4 seats on the BA flight and rebook for the day before. But as their flights were now full in economy I have also had to pay for upgrades to Business class........I have also had to book 2 hotel rooms for the night and will of course have to pay for lunch, dinner and breakfast for the 4 of us. These additional costs are substantial and almost make the whole trip nearly uneconomical. I considered cancelling our BA outward flight and getting easyjet or Ryanair which would have been cheaper than what I have had to pay BA for changing their flight.......but BA told me if I was a no show for the flight they would automatically cancel the return element with them at the end of the holiday. So a well planned trip and well in advance has cost us a fortune in extra costs due to a change of departure by MAS. What are our options please to hold MAS accountable. Our travel insurance will not cover this eventuality ........of course ! I can send the booking confirmation from MAS and their change of departure time. A much poorer and very frustrated traveller. I had flight to Mumbai fr om Manila I was stuck in the traffic I called Malaysia airlines call center to confirm what time they close counter the last told me 1.30 before the departure wh ereas actual they close just before 45 mins. I still 2 hours to catch the flight and I was 45 mins away from the airport this lady on the phone assured me that I will not make it coz they close 1.30 mins before the flight so I gave up returned my cab to go to Malaysian airline city office to do the flight change for next day. I paid the fare difference plus I did not get the seat on the sale flight I booked earlier all because of missinformstion. 2nd case - me and my husband booked promotional fare to Kuala Lumpur but unfortunately we couldn't travel because my husband had to admitted into the hospital due to bad unrinsry tract infection. We sent mail to their central reservation requesting them to waive the date change penalty due to medical condition we had medical certificate and all other necessary documents attached but no respond from them. So we decided to pay the date change penalty I called call center the guy called victor rebookec my rocked and told me that I don't have to pay any difference in the fare just the date change penalty so I told him to create the booking I will call next day for payment. I called spoke to lady called Ella she told me I have to pay fare difference of 85 usd per pax apart from date charge penalty. Again miss information . I am sick and tired of Malaysia airline never ever again in my life I am traveling with them nor I am letting my family abc friends so do.
Had to change an Economy Malaysian reservation and was charged a fee and was charged an additional fee described to me as a "ticket upgrade". On the flight my ticket was strictly Economy. What was the upgrade? I called customer service and spoke with an agent who took my phone number and email and said he would have to contact their accounting department and would get back to me in an hour or so. After waiting for five days and no contact I called customer service again. An agent name Sherry took my call and told me I had waited too long after my flight and there was nothing she could do. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold and then disconnected. I called customer service again and got a male agent. I asked to continue my call with Sherry and was put on hold, but my call was never picked up again. I called customer service again and got an agent named Fee. She put me on hold and never picked up my call again. I called customer service again and got another (different) agent named Fee. She went looking for a supervisor and never picked up my call again. I called customer service again and got an agent named Anna who transferred me to a supervisor named Christie who did some checking and told me there was no upgrade, that the entire charge of $170 Cdn per ticket was for changing my reservation. Thank you and goodbye. I was overcharged for the reservation change and then given a run-around when I questioned it. Poor, poor customer service. I hope I never have to fly Malaysian again.
I have a question about booking flights on the website. I keep getting an error that tells me to leave Date of Birth empty or completely filled. This happens after filling in the forms. When I click on the the button to choose seats, an error message appears. All required fields are already filled. So I'm not sure if this is a bug on your website or something else. Kindly advice. I have been travelling on Malaysian Airlines frequently, the latest was from Singapore to Kuala Terengganu in Sept 16. A few hours ago before 12 midnight I booked for a trip to KL scheduled from 24 to 27 Nov 16. I have completed the online booking form but had gone directly for payment and have not chosen the seats thinking that there will be a button to press for the selection of seats but it went straight to payment. When I received the Travel Itinerary Receipt with the Booking Ref no: KYLXD and the Tickets no : 2322440933681 & 2322440933680 there was an * If I have selected the seat, it was not reflected & to contact your call centre: I called that no from Spore added 021-60378433000 and the lady took a long time trying to tell me that what I have booked was only the flight tickets and have to pay for the seats. I have been travelling often and this is the first time I ever heard booking online with full payment and if forgotten to press the button to sel ect seats is my fault hence I have to make payments for the seats. I told her that I booked early because we want the seats to be nearer the front and at the window sides. I requested the 1st call lady to check with her supervisor if I could be assisted and she told me to wait since its already 20 mins (overseas call) I ended the call. that was around fr om 1.05 am 1.25 am. I made the 2nd call and another lady answered (slightly better) but still cannot help but advised me to call 24 hrs before the departure date to check the seats numbers (*and have to pay for those 2 seats !!!) I booked early because we wants to be seated next to each other and near the window and near to the front (knee problem) this call took another 12 mins 1.30 am till 1.42 am. Till now already passed 2.15 am and I am still typing this e-mail. I am a Enrich member with the membership no as MH 317695011 but its seem that the nos had some mistakes and was informed that that was a wrong nos. We are both retirees and have many others and have been trying via the Malaysian Airlines but with this experience it ready disappointing. We will decides after your reply on this matter. I am having trouble contacting anyone at the MAS. I have tried to contact the Customer Service. They were not able to answer my query. I requested to speak to a Manager. I was told that he Manager was at a meeting and will return my call. after 3 days, I still have not received a call. I have written to even the CEO but have not received a response. What else do I need to do? It is urgent that they provide a response asap. Anyone has any idea on how I can get a response to my query. This is the first time I have booked MAS flight. It will likely be the last.
Mohsin : Salam I was booking the seat on 9th of September but the there was a transaction processing error and the seat was not finally booked. Than i booked the seat from other sources.On 11th of the September, i found one message that your transaction is successful and the amount is transferred to Malaysian airline. What i should do for reimbursement? Having same problem. I thought transaction unsuccessful.when i call credit card services MAS already charge.did they refund our money quickly. Malaysia Airlines just informed me that my flight was retimed and I have to fly around 2am in the morning when my initial flight ticket is around evening. So I tried calling them to change the time for my ticket but after 6 attempts, I wasn't able to get anything sorted other than just able to give my reference number and then the line just cut off. All of the 6 successful calls (not inclusive of 5 unsuccessful calls) were cut off at 1 minute and 5 seconds. I've waited it out and try again after 6 hours but it is still the same. Why is this happening? How can I change my air ticket if phone calls cant go beyond 1 minute and 5 seconds? Thanks!

hello. i've been notified by MAS today with regards to the new time and i ask for refund. apparently if you book online the refund request has to be through email and it will take about 6weeks to maximum of 3 months to get the refund back. i really doubt that i'll get the refund back so im wondering if anyone here can share their experience getting refund from MAS. thanks a lot! and of course, i'll never fly with MAS again.
