Guest : Anyone here has an issue booking a flight when you get to the payment page credit card wont accept the system?Tried different credit cards still has the same issue.Weve been trying for a week now. I am experiencing this issue too. I called PAL and they say that they are aware of this problem. You reported this 4 months ago and looks like they have not resolved it.

Last year it took me 4 months and too many phone calls and emails to get back $8,000.00 in refinds. Two weeks ago I submitted refund requests for 6 tickets I had to cancel, expecting another 3 month wait for the $13,000.00 they owe me. To my shock, I found all 6 tickets had been refunded to my credit card. Shock!!!! Don't know if they have improved the refund process or the fact that I paid the higher business flex fares resulted on this. Anyway, I am shocked but happy. Hope other people have the same luck.

Im in! They have not responded to my emails, messenger, or hub requests over the last 6 months to revert my voucher to a refund. Its cost me over $75 AUD in phone calls. I was promised an email to confirm my refund in January. They said it would take 12 weeks to process. I never received their email or a refund. I emailed again in March then again June trying to follow it up - no reply. The Australian office say they cant help me, I have to call Manilla. I called the Philippines again today and they had the cheek to say my voucher expired in June so now they wont give me my voucher or a refund. They wouldn't respond and I couldn't physically leave the country because the borders were shut. Its absolutely criminal. Now its not just about the money its the principal of the thing. i have same issue too! it's been 4 month converting my ticket to travel credit! no respone at all. it cost 33.000php. so pour service! they just kept tell you to wait. i also comment on their promotions on official Facebook, they kept saying will check but is all just a joke! i never experience other airlines like this service.

Pal is a thief. I requested for a refund for Aed 5700 since it is already moret han the 3 billimg cycle which even took more than 5 mos and till date no refund or response received.Called also the call center however everytime I asked about the refund they will let you wait and cut the line. Very unprofessional and disappointing. They are thieves for our hard earned money.

Due to an error on their website, I was produced the wrong flights - too Melbourne from Manila instead of from Melbourne to Manila. I called them immediately and requested that I be booked on the correct route and they said they would refund me to enable me to do this. I checked the website again and it was $300AUD more expensive to book my route than initially. I already had a return flight for 3 weeks later back to Melbourne and there's no reason I'd book two flights with the same route 3 weeks apart. After multiple emails and calls, the refund team asked me to produce screenshots of my experience as evidence!!!! HOW do I get screenshots retrospectively!? I told them they should go back through their audit log to the time at which I made my purchase and they shouldn't be asking customers to troubleshoot on their own. Anyway, I've been chasing them for a month and they still haven't produced me with a refund. I intend on filing a formal complaint with the Ombudsman in Australia, aviation Australia and consumer affairs in my state. I suggest you all do the equivalent.

I will never fly PAL again!!! I will make sure my family and friends will not fly PAL. Worst service!!! From booking, SFO system suck! Very poor, entitled agents!! Its a flea market around PAL checkin area. Lines everywhere. I was repeatesly asked for my Philippine birth certificate when I already presented my US passport? What an idiot!!!! Business class is embarassing! Everything broken, from headset, television, remote control and seat. Flight stewardess were helpless! DONT FLY PHILIPPINE AIRLINES. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Jenny : These people are THIEVES. Since March 2020 I have been contacting them regarding the refund for our round trip tickets to Japan. Each time, they would say it's already being processed, we just had to wait. Lo and behold, when I called yesterday I was informed that our tickets were no longer eligible for a refund because it has been two years since that cancelled flight. Thus our tickets were already expired. What the heck. Whose fault is it anyway? The only reason why we haven't gotten a refund for our tickets is because of their lousy refund processing. I bet this isn't an isolated case. Where can we file a complaint? maybe there's a class action lawsuit that's about to be filed? This is blatant scamming, they deserve to get bankrupt. Same for me. See my post 8th May. All I can suggest is to try and contact travel journalists to see if they will embarrass the airline into issuing a refund.

So I've been given the run around by the airline for over a week. I wanted to rebook a flight the airline cancelled in April 2020 due to the pandemic. I was told to rebook through the hub. The hub said they couldn't find my ticket number or booking ref... (how's that possible). After exchanging messages, sending copies of emails, copy of the e-ticket, this morning they claim that because I didn't take the flight within 12 months the ticket is cancelled. So considering the ticket was for May 1st 2020 and the Philippines was closed to International passengers until March 2022, how could I take the flight within 12 months???? This is pure and simple theft. Every other reputable international airline has honoured their tickets with refunds, rebooking or travel vouchers (some were slow admittedly) but Philippines Airlines sadly are ruining the reputation of the Philippine people by being dishonourable. Shame on you Philipinnes airlines. I will be making this public via the media and suggest we all do the same

Our family had to cancel our flights since we were in a lockdown. I applied for our refund May 2020 and up to this moment no refund. It has been 2 years now. All we get in our follow ups are computer generated acknowledgment messages.

I am now booking my return flight and agents said the ticket was not converted and that I can no longer use that unused ticket???? I have tried to escalate but no response and disconnected 5 times as I tried to call back for a manager.

Oh my Gosh, why are they still letting PAL do business here in US, they suck!!! I miss Delta direct flight to Philippines! First experience with pal and NEVER AGAIN!!! We have so many bookings in Manila soon as our arrival and everything is messed up because they cancelled my flight! WTF!

No customer service just bad attitude that felt racially motivated. After getting to the airport on time- by the time I got to the ticket window was 40 minutes prior to flight. The assistant manager and manager both told me I couldn't go on the flight as I wasn't there 45 minutes prior to flight both of them were short and cold about the matter- I asked to speak to the manager who quickly said he closed the flight.....Really? there was nobody in line, and the hadn't boarded and was to minute walk from from ticket agent. I asked if he (as a manager had the ability to put me and my wife (she is Philippian) on the flight--twice and twice he gave me the same answer- he already secured the flight. He didn't answer the question... I asked why we he wasn.t able to offer any customer service he snapped back coldly "WE do customer service"!. I later saw him walking around like the king and tried to get him to talk to me- he ignored me and kept walking Perhaps he doesn't like foreigners or senior citizens. In any case I had to buy a new ticket paying twice for the same flight. To make it worse when the woman who was with the manager the first time started whispering about me to the new ticket agent who looked up to see who she was talking about. When I got to the counter I was polite but looked at the woman and asked her for the name of the manager- she ignored me so I asked again from the agent who told me it was Luis Ortis.. This is not the first time I have had problems with this airline. Yet on a different flight on Cebu during the covid thing some (racist motived)Muslim woman tried to prevent me from getting to the counter siting a made up flaw in paperwork. I found a customer service rep and they bypassed everything and literally ran with me to the plane- that's customer service!.. Far different the Philippine airlines who treat you like dirt and keep your money

Philippine Airlines customer service has gone downhill. From reservations to flight attendants, service is poor. Aircraft is old and dirty. Flight attendants are rude and they skip some services in the cabin. Ticket agents (domestic and international) accept bribes. I would rather connect than spend my money on this airline. It's a shame to even suggest to fly them. They can never resolve issues when it gets to refunding and their website is always down.

I've experienced that same problem. Looks like this has been an issue for at least 12 years now. I've booked 2 other flights within the Philippines on Cebu Pacific that was simple. PAL must be losing customers/money. You can book on travel related sites (Orbitz etc) but you can't book First Class. Very frustrating indeed.

WARNING DO NOT Book with Philippines Airlines or you will not get a refund for a very very long time bad business practices cant be trusted. Booked with both Qatar and Emirates and got refunded 7-15 days credited back on original credit card Not Philippines Airlines takes several months if not a year.

Guest : Is a mouth swab required or can I just have a regular nasal rt PCR test to fly from USA to pi? Really suggest you look at all the complaints here about Philippine Airlines. Im also one trying to get a refund and getting the runaround like ALL the stories here.

Its been 2 years and I still haven't gotten my refund. I've called several times, several emails and nothing. They're scammers. N. Ramirez : Just saw this forum and it made more anxious about my refund from PAL. I have been calling them for follow up and each time I get a different response. I have been very patient considering the pandemic but the customer service and the refund process is just trash! And now, im on queu starting 32 mins and instead of getting closer it keeps on pushing me back. Anyone here got their refunds from 2020??

We've also the same issue. We never received a refund for our flights that were originally booked for March 2020 then rebooked for October 2020. I've spent countless hours on the phone with them, emails etc. And they have never provided any information or confirmation of the refund. They keep telling my request is being processed. And then when I emailed for follow up after months of not hearing from them, they told me I had to log my request in their online portal! I would have never known because there is ZERO communication. Apparently, 2 years ago when I logged the request for a refund via phone and when they confirmed with a refund request number and the countless emails telling me my refund is being processed doesn't count? Was it never being processed? I am out 2k and I'm frustrated and * that this scam of an airline is just taking our money and wasting our time. Guest : You are * right!!! Our flights were also for Aug 2020. We got refunded but this scammer of an airline charged fees additional fees and did not refund fees they charged like seat upgrade and meal fees. Their execs think they are exempt from US lawsuits bec they filed for Chap 11. Expedia should be able to help you since they are your agent. I booked directly on PALs stupid website on November 2019. Paid all the tickets for 11 of my family members. Thats way before they discovered Covid. It's been almost 2 years and still no refund. Expedia says it's been approved, and after multiple attempts to contact Philippine Airlines, you cannot get ahold of a customer service rep to save your life. The online hub is useless, and we never receive the confirmation in our email that our refund has been received. Both companies sent us to the bank multiple times to have them find the refund that was supposedly issued only to be sent back telling them they have absolutely no record of it being issued or denied for any reason (no electronic trace of it what-so-ever!) Now, after so much time has elapsed it tells us that the window to use the voucher has expired. We didn't request a voucher, we wanted our refund. No one wants to take responsibility and no one wants to issue the refund. We purchased travel insurance and tried to get our refund that way, but since we weren't "sick" it was denied. All of these companies are guilty of legalized theft! My wife and I are currently our over $3k and just about ready to sue for time wasted, legal fees, full refund, etc. It should be illegal for any company to be able to take your $ so easily and make it so difficult to get it back in situations like this!

What's happening with the customer service, been trying to contact them for 2 days, waits for hours for someone to answer, but none. I tried booking online, but when I input my voucher code, it wouldn't go through. There's an error with the voucher. My voucher is not expired yet until 2023. Something is not right here.

Will never ever fly PAL. I tried several times to renew my travel voucher and I cannot reach their customer service. I went to their ticketing office near me and well, it's been closed for more than a month. It's like they're deliberately making themselves unreachable to get away with my money. Goodbye 40k! I hope PAL gets its karma.

We (2 adults and 1 child) were supposed to board 4am flight from jfk to mnl today but due to the 48hours pcr testing reqt, we were told to just rebook instead since what we have is already beyond 48 hours result. Upon rebooking, we were asked to pay Php145k which i think is ridiculous. The rebooking fee is comparable to our round trip ticket..s if we are buying new tickets.. is this really the case? I can understand there would be rebooking charges but not this much.

I'd love to get my hands on that since all the ones we find send us to an endless loop that never allows you to reach a person, and refers you to their HUB, which is totally worthless.

My flight was cancelled a day before my flight on Jan 11 to Manila ,they have send me an email afternoon which I don't have access on my email that day...It was very disappointing considering that morning I'm about to leave to airport then suddenly got email access and saw that they cancelled it with no reason.... Pls PAL be considerate this is really disappointing and sending request from your PalHub with no response for rebooking or even refund request for almost two weeks really * of time...#Palaction
