I have lost my luggage while traveling from Amritsar(India) to Melbourne, arrived on 13th dec 2017. Lodged a complaint at Melbourne Airport but nobody entertaining at all. Every time I call they saying they will call me back but no answer. I have very important documents in my suitcase. Please help me if someone else face the similar issue and guide me what to do? Thanks

Yes the call centre and help support is really archaic. In a digital world, Scoot still depend on call centre manned by unempowered staff. I called them to ask for refund as my wife and I could not travel as she met with an accident. But instead of a partial refund, I was given a run-around with one way emails from Scoot asking for letter from doctor saying she could not travel (which I obtained) but in the end Scoot says claim from your insurance! What a * of time! And I requested refund way back in Oct when the flight was in Dec. I found out they sold my paid seats - what unscrupulous greed!

This is the worst Airline in terms of service level at the ticketing and pre-boarding service. It is the most opportunistic airline that charges absurdly for the slightest change. I kept getting cut-off in my attempt to call and under the pretext or excuse that the manager's name dealing with my case has to be kept a secret, I could never identify the person whom I am supposed to talk to. Scoot had allowed me to change the passenger for the air ticket that I bought for my daughter. But due to unforeseen circumstances, she cannot join us in our family trip. I had to transfer the ticket to my niece. However, during the several telephone conversation, I have been told that the change fee is between S$80-S$100. However, when I tried to make the change online, I was told it would cost me $400, almost the price of the ticket itself! Plus there would also be a fare difference charge when there is no fare change, no change in date or time or selling away my existing ticket and rebuying another! The $400 change fee comprises S$100 for change of first name, another $100 for change of last name, multiply that by 2 for the return ticket! This is the most absurd charge and the airline refused to budge telling me its in their rule!. Firstly, the rule is absurd and secondly, during all the telephone exchanges, I have only been told it is between S$80-$100 and never $400! The discussion has been going on for 2 weeks now, but there has been no resolution. I feel that I have been held to ransom as I am due to depart in slightly more than a week. I have been using Scoot alot recently. But customer service, goodwill and ethical practice obviously has no place in Scoot's management! I will think doubly hard about ever using Scoot again. I had expected that its afiliation to SIA would count in ensuring a certain service level! I also thought my being a Krysfliier member would also be factored in their dealing of this matter. But obviously it does not!

Hi all, I am expecting a call-back from Scoot regarding a change in my flight itinerary after much explanation I had with Abbey last Saturday. She has promised to call me back on Monday as they claimed that under USA regulations there are some restrictions involved and she wants to ensure and advise me correctly after she verifies the rules and regulation accordingly. I am querying on the flight from Singapore to Honolulu with a stop in Osaka. All I want is to know if I could make changes to the return leg from Honolulu back to Singapore. I want to fly out from Honolulu on a Monday (instead of the Friday as booked.) The fact is I still want to board the plane from Osaka to Singapore as scheduled. To-date, I am still waiting for an reply from Scoot. Regards, Chris

Hi All, Yesterday, Saturday the 9th of December, I purchased tickets for a family trip from Scoot Airlines . The flights Gold Coast, (Australia) - Singapore - Gold Coast, Singapore - Athens - Singapore . The intended trip commencing on June the 15th 2018 and arriving home July 7th 2018. Today, Sunday the 9th of December, I was informed that my son's school holidays are actually scheduled from June the 23rd 2018 to the 16th of July2018. I immediately contacted Scoot customer service and explained my predicament, I was told that a change of date was possible but there was a price difference and a 'penalty' of $130 each way for each sector for each booking!. I did explain that the selected dates on my purchase the day before was an honest error and asked why I was facing a penalty as I did not commit a crime and I am a continuing customer, also mentioning that the intended trip was more than 180 days+ away!. Is there anyone or a department within Scoot that I could direct my case to? I was told that I could make the changes online instead of going through the call centre, however I would receive a lesser 'penalty' of $100 each way for each sector for each booking. Surely if it an easy process on line to made changes why would have to face a penalty, especially if the intended trip is more than 180+ days away. All any solution/s sincerely appreciated. Thanks - MW Gold Coast, Queensland Australia

I suffer the same problem, the officer on the line does not know they even have this problem. Quite shocking !, so I immediately wrote in as Feedback to Scoot and the immediate response says they will reply within 10days as they are very busy, many issues to handle! This is stalling the problem away.

Lina Evans : This airline is the worst we have encountered for retaining moneys paid twice. We paid by POLIPAY. They said they did not receive the payment. We checked our bank account and no debit had been processed. We paid by Visa then a POLIPAY debit also appeared on our bank statement. We rang their customer support line. The support staff have limited English. The whole drama and the runaraound that Scoot has given us has caused us stress and anxiety. It's not worth flying with an airline that displays dishonest business practices. Do they need the money so badly that they have to cheat customers? We've been waiting 6 weeks and still no refund. I also had an issue with a POLI payment. They also tried to get me to pay again promising when all is reconciled that they would refund. I stood my ground and asked them to prioritize the reconciliation process... they did and issued me with a booking number

CAK : I have been trying to get a letter from them about the delay I had in Perth to Singapore and then inability to make my connection Singapore to Athens it's taken multiple emails/ phone calls. When I finally got the email it didn't have the details that my travel insurer requires so I have start all over. And I still haven't seen any refund. I am having exactly the same issue! Except that I haven't even gotten the letter - with or without the details that my travel insurance needs. Scoot assured us at the transfer desk in Singapore that we would be refunded. It doesn't seem like that's going to be the case... Were you on the flight that was supposed to leave Perth on the 2/9/2017?

Because of the glitch in their booking system, we had our money deducted twice due to this stupid polypay. We received an email from scoot in june 17 promising money will be reimbursed 6-8 weeks. Well its almost 12 weeks and after so many calls we still havent seen the money. Shame on you Scoot its almost a scam and can you imagine the interest earn if you multiply by the so many people that got suck into this. Shame on you - a disgrace to Singapore!!!

You should be ashamed of yourselves scoot airlines and I hope you are investigated soon. I for one will be making a complaint. I hope others do the the same. It's a scam

Booked a flight from Sin. to Mel. on 6th of March 2017 to travel on the 20th of Aug to Mel. and paid SGD 44 for meals for 2 people (I guess it was for two meals for two people). Late July we were informed that due to maintenance the have chartered a SIA plane to carry us. When we checked at Changi Airport we were issused an information sheet to say that all pasangers in this flight will be provided a complimentary meal, which means a free meal for all, whether you paid for a meal or not when you booked the flight. Therfore I feel that I am entitled for a refund of SGD44. When contacted the call centre, they refused to do so. When I asked for the manager, the reply was the manager was bussy and will call back. It did no happen. Again I called and asked for the e-mail address to complain they wrong e-mail address.

Hi, I was trying to book a flight on 7th early morning around 1 am AEST (the flight was for 8th Jul 12 PM from Melbourne to Bangalore) through Poli from Scoot site. But it threw an error after making Poli payment of 699.7 AUD. I called up and registered a complaint with Scoot team. Then Scoot team called me back on Friday 7th afternoon to book the same flight through my credit card again as the Poli payment issue will be resolved after 48 hours. I was told that the Credit card payment will be reverted back to my account once the Poli payment issue is resolved. So, i got my booking done with number. But, still i have not received the money back from Poli or in my credit card. So, i have paid twice the amount (699.70+699.70 AUDs). It's been 6 weeks, but no refund yet :(:(:(

Pawan Awasthi : Hi, I have booked the flight for my friend from Bhopal to Kuala Lumpur via Lucknow via Singapore using a website(GOIBIBO) and it allowed to book all at once(Air India-TigerAir-AirAsia). But when she arrived to the BHOPAL airport, they said you will get the boarding pass at the next airport(Lucknow). At the Lucknow airport they(TigerAir) crew members said that they can't allow to on-board as you have another flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. So you need to have the valid Visa for Singapore. Then I immediately booked another flight for TigerAir from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur(I6Q4KZ) on 22nd July'17. They the crew members(TigerAir) at the Lucknow Airport said that we can't allow as you have different reference numbers. You need to have the same reference reference number for the connecting flight. Then I called to the customer support(3 times call got connect to the Singapore and one time to Manila). For all 4 times I just mentioned that the only issues is whether is it allows to have 2 different reference numbers for the connecting flight. Should they allow to on-board or not? For the first 2 times call around 1.5 hrs( I was calling from Malaysia to Singapore ISD Call), they put me on-hold for 15 min-20 min and came with the resolution that it should not be the problem. The should be able to give the boarding pass in this case also. They confirmed from Managers and others. and then call got end. Then I said, if possible can you or your manager intimate to them at the ground by providing these reference number to give the boarding pass to my friend. They said that they will intimate. As the time was running fast, I called again to customer care for 3rd time, the call went to manila and again the same story begins..I have to tell all the details each time and the guy told that the will try to connect to the ground and the issue will be resolved. After that he also put me on hold..later he said that it should be only 1 reference number for connecting flight So after 34 minutes he said I am sorry and cant help you in this regards. I again called and call went to the Singapore and again same details and she said i think now time is also over for the flight only 1 hr remaining so they will not allow to on-board. I got frustrated that I am not getting any resolution by calling to the customer support people then what they are for?? Just putting me on hold?? I am not sure whether they want to help or they want to * the time with no resolution or they are lacking with the knowledge and other details. With this I thought that I should never book the flight from TigerAir or never recommend to anyone for this airline at-least. I have lost my money and time as now the return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Delhi just because of one thing as she has to return 2 weeks. I sent various email regarding this, still I didn't get any response from anyone so planning to go to consumer court. It is not the airline's fault as VISA is required as long as you go through immigration. As you booked via different airlines and booking references, you are not able to check through & have to go through immigration, that is why you are not able to fly.

Hi, I was taking 25th July 2017 midnight 12.15am flight TR017 from Perth back to Singapore. However, due to the merge of tigerair and scoot on that day, all the check in system became paralyzed and can't carry on the check in. Then, they promised will send us the explanation letter about the delayed and scheduled the next flight on 25th July at 12.35pm afternoon. After waiting for a week, I didn't receive any call or email from them and called to their service center and being informed that the flight took off as usual and my status was no shown. Hence, if anyone took the flight and having same issue, please share your thought or proof in order to fight for our right. Thanks.

Question have you got your refund yet Guest : Katherine Booked PER>ATH 10 months ago when the flights were announced. Scoot changed the outgoing flight dates by 3 DAYS meaning that I now miss an event I was supposed to attend leaving me $500 out of pocket. Cancelled the flights and was told there would be a 6-8 week wait for the refund. It is now 8 weeks and 6 days and having finally got through to them on their Sydney number (which is picked up overseas) I am told that I have to wait even longer but they don't know how long!!! They will not even provide written confirmation of a refund. A simple confirmation up front that a refund was on its way would have made things so much easier but now I don't believe anything they tell me.
