I booked Scoot online months b4 my trip and realise 2 of my passenger name has special character eg John+Doe instead of John Doe. A few days b4 flight, I tried to resolve this issue via their marvie online chat. The CSO was prompt and requested info like passport screenshot and such. An email ltr was sent that the issue was resolved and an instruction for me to ownself edit the error. But when I went to the app under "Manage My Booking", nothing can be changed. So decided to use their whatsapp online support. This was worst, as the CSO said not only 2 of the passenger name was wrong as compared to the passport but all 4 of us has first name and last name compared to our passport. For the change CSO require we pay the full amt of ticket paid, minus add-on which is a shocked. I ignored and since it was late, decided to personally call a CSO to explained. Next day, able to call a CSO on the phone who required a few documents for verification and everything was done for free. So lesson learnt for me to be persistent. And if anyone have similar issue with Scoot, refer to their CSO as "name correction" instead "name change". And don't use their online CSO support, useless and misleafing! Just call direct to their CSO hotline number.
I bought my filapine wife and children an airline ticket from manila to sydney and the reciept clearly stated that the fees and taxes were apart of manila terminal tax that had to be paid upon exiting the country and it was included in the entire flight payment so i called scoot to confirm that my wife and children didnt have to pay any airport tax and they confirmed that the airport tax was already including in the scoot booking under fees and taxes. So my wife arrived at the airport and went to the scoot check in counter and the scoot agent told her that she needed to go and pay the airport tax and my wife stated to them that we already paid it and even had the email from scoot stating that the tax had already been paid and then the agent said to my wife that you will not be able to board her flight unless she paid the airport tax at the Tieza office so she called me on facebook and told me what happened so i spoke to the tieza office on facebook messenger and they told me oh this is a different tax and she has to pay it otherwise she can not get on her flight and i explained to him that the tax had already been paid by scoot and had the email from scoot confirming this and we even showed hima screenshot but he said you need to pay it otherwise she can not board her flight so i told my wife to pay it and ill fllow it up with scoot later and i told her to take a screen shot of her reciept so i can keep her copy and has she went through immigration they asked to see the reciept for there travel tax and once they had it they didnt give it back but luckily we had a picture of it and then the immigration lt her through to the departure lounge. Has anyone else experienced this or is just only happened to us as now wife is to fearful to make a complaint in case they make her trouble when she comes back into the country

Trying to go online checkin for this Friday 710am flight. I booked the ticket via Agoda. My booking F4FZJI. Error message i got is Booking validation failed.

Scoot web check in to print boarding pass and proceed to gate is not user friendly. A couple travelling together, one get the boarding pass to Gate while the other is denied and have to queue in counter check in at Sydney International airport. Have a Chat with their agent but it is of no help and a * of time. Next time, book with other airlines.

The SCOOT check in site is not user friendly. You only get chance to submit your details. If you submit an incorrect one you don’t get a second chance to view the error and correct it. What a * of time then trying to check in online.

Hey Scoot! I've been waiting for my suitcase for two days now here in Melbourne. I have no clothes and I have to work here. It's not holiday for me. The tracking code does not work on the Scoot website. I can't reach anyone by phone and you don't reply to emails. This is all ridiculous. When do I get my suitcase??? Had the same issue with scoot where i was getting the 3003 api error o the safety page. Then i tried using the beta check in email tagged to the confirmation email. was checked in with one step. Hope this helps someone

Keep getting the PaymentAuthenticationFailed1 even if i input the correct details. Is there something wrong with their site?

Seems like a number Of people on this forum has the #777 error issue when trying to check in. Called scoot hotline waited for 30 mins .. in the end I am told by the hotline she doesn’t know the issue ask me to check in at the counter ! Disappointing service really !

What a terrible system. Inserted all details for booking and then credit card BUT just get message "almost there" and nothing happens.
Scoot's website is plagued with API service issues when trying to check-in? Keep receiving an error #777 while trying to check-in. Tried several times. The same error kept on popping up on the same page. On another time, finally got past the #777 issue and received a new issue an issue, 1170 CannotSellSSR CannotSellSSR1170RemotingServices.ServiceHost.exe(and a whole lot of random numbers) Their mobile app doesn't allow check-in as well.
Never touch Scoot. Their staff lies and are also totally incompetent. Scoot has no interest in any customer service.
