Former Home Secretary Lord David Blunkett has urged UK and EU airports to consider suspending Turkish Airlines’ landing rights unless the airline changes its approach, calling the treatment “outrageous” and “mediaeval.” Mardell, whose Parkinson’s is mild, was removed from the flight without staff ever seeing him. His luggage was taken off the aircraft, and he spent seven hours trying to recover it without adequate assistance. I am deeply dissapointed by Turkish Airlines and the service they provide. Not only did they lose my luggage, but they havent told me anything regarding this problem and what happened exactly. Also I havent received any money from them either even if its been a few weeks since they lost it. I dont recommend them to any one, they are extremly unserious and unprocessional

Brendon : I would definitely recommend Turkish Airlines to families with children. The children kept their eyes on the in-flight entertainment system throughout the flight. There is also age-appropriate content and the flight ends without the children getting bored. As a parent, you can enjoy the flight without any difficulty. Avoid this airline as they don’t care even about the children traveling alone. They denied boarding without any explanation for my minor son flying alone from Vancouver to Baku via Istanbul returning home for holidays on 17.12.2024. For some technical reason they wete unable to print boarding pass. Result: no any kind of explanation, no help from airport TK personnel, no rebooking, no acommodation provided despite on the fact that being a minor he has no legal right to book the hotel. They just left my sone alone. Had to pay by myself for rebooking to the next flight after 48 hours, and resolve accommodation issues.

BB : Does anyone know how to get a seat assignment on Turkish Air when the reservation was made through United Airlines? They are both members of Star Alliance, but United says it can only be done through Turkish Air and Turkish Air says it has to be through United. We have business class seats, but no one seems to be able to help me, even with multiple calls to both airlines. We have the same issue for a June-2024 trip via Frankfurt. We have a 2 hour layover and hopefully will get seat assignments for our connecting flight. sigh!

The cabin crew took care of each and every passenger. Their service was attentive and on time. The food, desserts, fruit presentations and drinks were diverse and all were very nice. I would definitely choose it again.

From what I saw at the airport, the staff gives priority to families and the elderly and helps them. It is very nice of them to do this to help and comfort them. They allow them to calm down and enjoy the flight. This continues throughout the flight. In this way, everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable flight.
