Same issue I encountered today too booking Lagos to Port Harcourt. I'm still trying to resolve it. Looks like a recurrent issue Arik is having. Hopefully they would fix it

I booked a flight in the 5th of February, Abuja to Lagos. I paid the sum of 115,726.00 naira for business class for 2 persons ,only for the aircraft to be an all economy flight . I immediately complained and the tickets were downgraded for 22,000 something each but until date I 've not gotten my refund after visiting their Abuja office at transcorp. Arik please am broke ,really need my money biko

I paid for a flight for my boss on Arik Air from Abuja to Lagos on March 22, 2019 with the intention of him traveling on March 23, 2019. The sum of N44,382:00 was paid using my atm. He didn't get a ticket sent to his mail and on the 23rd March 2019 he had to pay for another ticket after it was confirmed to us that the payment didn't go through and his name was not on the list. Please kindly refund the money cos we just got a mail with a ticket this morning 25th March 2019.

I got a text saying that due to operational reasons, the ticket I booked for 4th of February 2019 on air flight W3 440/Abuja to Owerri has been cancelled. I have filled the refund form and sent but I'm yet to get any response nor refund. It's been more than a month already. I hope this can be addressed

Good afternoon Sir/Ma, on Saturday 23rd December i was paying for flight reschedule for a passenger ELIJAH ESSIEN with flight code MGDZWH. amount - N16,578 the person at the counter tried my atm cards severally due to bad network and i was debitted trice. twice on my Zenith account and once on my Parallex account. i was given declined reciepts to settle it with my bank if my money wasnt reversed, its well over a month and only one was reversed two mondays ago on from zenith but the other two havent been reversed the banks are saying Arik air has refused to refund the money and are saying service was rendered. please check your records we ended up using the atm and paying cash. kindly refund my money urgently ive spent alot going to banks everyday trying to get my money back. Funmi : I booked and paid for a flight online from Lagos to Benin 5th October 2018. I got a text message an hour before that it had been cancelled. I sent an email immediately to arikrefunds@arikair.com on the same day as directed by the customer care personnel. The email bounced back. Called back and another person said I should try the same address with no 's' this time. Once again, email bounced back. Sent an email to customer care no response, kept calling etc. Nothing. Someone in call center gave me a number and said it was for the refunds unit but only call between 12 and 2 pm, Wednesday and Friday. The moment it was 12 I started calling; and I called and called. Nada. No one picked up. Anyway, I finally got someone to respond to my email on the 26th of October . Sent me a form to fill, I was like thank God for progress. Then said I should send to same refunds email and this time it was working. Filled form and was told it would take 30 working days, I was like oh no biggie. Followed up early November to make sure my request was receiving attention. Yes it was, someone responded. Bottom line, 30 days has come and gone... Now, they're not even responding to my emails. I have the same issue. They Airline staff seem to be have a total disregard for customer satisfaction. The 30 days have come and gone and they still told me to wait for an additional 2-3 weeks. I am still trying to get my money from them. Is there anyway to put the fear of God in this people? I would really like to know

Guest : I booked ticket for a flight from Abuja to Yola on Monday but didn't get any response or ticket after payment. I repeated the payment and got a ticket but the problem now is I was charged twice for a service I got once. How do I get a reversal of the transaction without ticket please??? Just inform your bank that you didn't get value for that first payment. They'll sought it out.

I booked for Arik Air flight on Saturday 17th March 2018. and i paid online, because if i reserve the booking will be cancelled the next day which is Sunday as a result of banks not working on weekends. N37,704 has been debited on my account and am suppose to travel this Saturday 24th march, till now i have not gotten any confirmation message from you guys whether my transaction was successful or not. Arik is a disgrace to airline business in Nigeria. I booked a flight on 03/01/2018 for a flight scheduled for Asaba - Lagos on 06/01/2018 17:10hrs. Surprisingly, the flight was cancelled and I was only notified that morning. I placed a call across to their customer care and I was advised to either reschedule for another day or request for refund. I chose the latter and traveled by road as I had to meet up with an appointment in Lagos. On 10/01/2018 I requested for refund and I was assured that after 30 working days I will get my refund, I had no option that to wait despite the awkwardness in the assurance. As I type this message today 16/03/2018, I am yet to receive my refund despite repeated calls and mails to Arik customer care and refund dept respectively. It is very unfortunate that Nigerians have to go through this horrendous situation from Arik just to patronize them and also meet up with their various activities. I believe a lot of Nigerians share the same plight with me. This is very unfair as no appropriate and viable regulator is available to escalate this evil to. Something should and will be done to sanction this unfit airline.

In the past 24hours Ive had the most horrible service delivery experience of my life with ARIK AIR. Yesterday 15/02/2018, I bought a round trip ticket fr om the ARIK Office at MMA2. The flight was supposed to depart at 7:30am to land in Port Harcourt Airforce base Garden city Terminal. After 3.5hours of delay, one of their officers came to the lounge asking if we would like to go with the 11:30 which goes to Omagwua International Airport as against Airforce Base. Note that the Airfare to Omagwua is much less than that of Airforce Base. I agreed to go with the alternative arrangement in my bid to get to my destination in time for my meeting. Fast forward to this afternoon 16/02/2018... I arrived at the airport at 12:20pm for my 1:00pm return flight. On my arrival, I was told the flight was rescheduled for 12:35pm and I didnt receive any notification. The attendants said I had two options, reschedule for the next flight which leaves at 5pm or request for refund upon my arrival in Lagos. Since I didnt have the luxury of time to sit for another 4+hours at the airport, I decided to get an earlier flight on another airline with the hope of processing my refund on arrival. On getting to lagos, I went to the counter wh ere the ticket was purchased to request my refund. To my shock, I was told I couldnt get my money back and the only option was for me to reschedule the ticket for a new trip which I have no idea when that will be. What ticked me off further was the nonchalant attitude of the staff at the ticketing counter. Its really sad that an airline such as ARIK cannot get simple things right. If the airline chose to bring its prescheduled closer for whatever reason, there should be adequate provision to resolve any inconvenience to the customer.

Up till today the 4th day of February, 2018, I am yet to receive any response from you. This is the worst airline I have experienced. I flew from.Abuja to Lagos on 21st June 2017. I was supposed to fly Lagos to Banjul but was told at check-in that Arik cancelled all flights to Banjul since last week. No one contacted me and I was stranded in Lagos. I had to pay n7k for a hotel and an extra n38,250 for the additional cost of another flight with Mid Africa airline leaving on Thursday 22nd at 4pm. Whilst Arik office staff at the international airport acknowledged Ariks mistake, giving me a full refund - I want compensation for the n45,250 cost incurred due to the ticket I had to buy and the hotel stay. I sent emails to that effect using the two email addresses given - talktous and arikcustomerrelations. Both emails bounced back! I want a current and correct email to express my disgust, anger and disappointed at the horrendous manner Arik has treated a British citizen traveller. I want satisfaction and expect to be compensated by Arik. Please forward a current and correct email for Arik to afina1960@yahoo.co.uk.
