14 days of missing luggage and still absolutely no information AT ALL! I called more than 20 times, sent more than 10 emails and NOTHING! Any luck for you guys???? What phones/emails are you trying???? My flight was also from Rome, but the destination was Santorimi, which is a tiny airport and has no service to help. Because of that, I was o lay able to get the reference (JYRVY10266) two days later!!!! I'm pretty sure that if I was the o my looking for my bad I would have already found it.. They are probably not doing * and our bags are wandering around Europe..

Thats one thing they can most certainly guarantee. We had just 2 days in Venice in our Eurotrip. Had a flight from Barcelona to Venice at 8am. We check in and we found out we are on StandBy because apparently, these guys are allowed to book 10% OVER CAPACITY! Are you serious??? When I ask why, they say they dont want to * seats. And I look at the Ticket Purchase counter and there are literally 100's of people who are in line to get on the next flight as they were not allowed to board We stand in line and first we were told we will get on board the 9:30am flight. Ok, thats fine. They said we will be "compensated". Ok, things happen. Its not always perfect. We find out that due to bla bla bla, all flights are full and the earliest one we can get on board is at 8:30PM. I asked her that before I FLIP, ask your supervisors that I NEED to get on the next available flight and thats that! Man after so much ridiculous fighting and scene at the airport, we got in the 12pm flight. And when we get to Venice, the fun continued as she had checked in our baggage on the original flight. BUT it was nowhere to be found in Venice. Its a small airport and I checked every corner of it. What they said was that they definitely did not send the baggage from Barcelona in the first place. PLEASE listen to me and countless other people...just do NOT fly this airline. U might get lucky once but NOT twice. Its going to ruin your trip GUARANTEED! And there was no special situation at that time. They can just gladly book 10% OVER CAPACITY and YOU my friend, who paid full price and was "Guaranteed" a seat (like me) will be stranded over there fighting stressing over this idiotic nonsense. Im still waiting for my "compensation" and my bag.

I used to think there could not be a worse customer service dept than Ryanair. Well now I have. They lost my luggage and after one month and 12 emails eventually told me I was emailing the wrong department. They tell me to use there auto lost luggage email which is totally useless unless you have a serial number from the airport which I have not got and they knew that. Unfortunately I live in Cyprus and only one airline flies to Spain, that Vueling and only in the summer. Tried it once and never again. I would rather pay twice as much and it take twice as long on a decent airline. Incidentally on the flight from Barcelona to Larnaca they forgot to load wine or beer on the ac. Nice very dry flight.

Hi, have you received your luggage back? I'm in the same situation & I don't know what to do! Michelle Ridwan : I had my flight this morning by Vueling from Orly Paris to FCO Roma. We checked in with 3 luggages (2 big and 1small). The service in Orly Paris was very horrible. We faced a very very long queue without any clear direction and they didn't even make a queue line separator., So we waited for a very long time until we reached the check in and baggage drop kiosk. It was very pathetic how the crew almost declined my sister's check in proccess just because she was stupid and doesn't know about student visa. My sister is havin her master degree in Germany yet she has the Schengen Visa. The crew works everyday in the airport and faces so many travellers from all around the world, so funny how she 's not well educated about VISA. The flight was on time,, we finally reached FCO airport after the "not smooth flight" by Vueling. We directly went to the baggage claim, after 15-20minutes we could find 2 of our luggages and realize that 1 of our luggages is missing. We waited with a hope that maybe our luggage was late, after 1 hour waiting we looked for the "lost and found baggage" kiosk. They told us that our luggage was left in Orly and we should wait until the next flight arrive. My father and my boyfriend waited for 7hours and got nothing. The plane has arrived but not with our missing luggage. We were not alone, there are also some passengers from the same plane who lost their luggages too. after asking the crew again, my father and my bf were told to go to our hotel and wait for the news from Vueling. the handling system of Vueling and Orly Paris was very very horrible, do not ever fly with Vueling. All my clothes, and all important stufffs are there in the missing luggage. It was the first and the last time we fly with Vueling. Worst airline ever

I totally agree! The worst airlines ever! They lost luggage on the DIRECT plane! More than 100 pieces of luggage, the majority of passengers suffered from this incredible incompetency! No replies, no apologies!

IBERIA + VUELING = LOST BAGGAGE.!!!!!! Please read reviews before booking with them.!! I booked with Iberia airlines and Vueling was the flight they put me on.!!! So be careful when booking.!!! They are the same airlines just have different names!!!! Since VUELING is known for lost luggage they started a sister company called Iberia.. But they are the same airline.!!! DO NOT FLY WITH THEM, THEY WILL LOSE YOUR LUGGAGE.!!!!!! Just read the other reviews if you don't believe me.!!!!!

Vueling is the worst - most useless people on the phones, do not care, probably sit in the luggage room and steal your luggage rather than try to find it. May bag has been missing since Sept 3rd 2014 and according to Vueling, they still have no idea where it is and can't even get their story straight as to where it was last scanned/checked in. My bag was on a quick/direct flight fr om Paris ORY to Florence Italy, we were 2 hours early for check in and they still somehow managed to lose it. Not only that, but they gave instructions to send the bag to some small town called "Florence" in South Carolina, USA rather than to Florence Italy where we would be staying for a week! That is ridiculous. They give you the run-around when you call and are completely clueless as to wh ere the bag is and they don't offer any help. I've called nearly every airport in Europe (seriously) and spoke to baggage claim people - and no bag. If you lose a bag with Vueling, it's safe to say you will never see it again. I give up and would not recommend every flying them if you're checking any luggage.

But when I got to my final destination my luggage wasn't there.. I had to file a claim with lost and found. Wasted 1 hour of my vacation with them.. Then I was trying to call them all the next day and wasted hours on the phone cause no one would ever answer.!!!! Then I found another phone number online, finally got thru but they said we are still trying to locate your luggage.!!! They still have not found it after 3 days.!!!! So if you want to * your whole vacation either on the phone with the airline, or trying to check your status of the claim online, and buying a whole new wardrobe to save a couple of bucks.. Then this is the airline to fly.!!!! But for me that's not the way I like to spend my vacations... I just wished that I read the reviews on this site before booking with them.!!!!! I would NEVER make that mistake ever again

Vueling started to late in Palermo when I was flying back home. We had a stop in Rome but hence I missed my flight in Rome to Brussels. Where is something like a compensation complain application? I had to book a new flight because I needed to leave the same day and not a night afterwards. I couldnt take their offer of staying in a hotel... but they told me to get back the money of the flight I booked!

My bagagge is lost since 2nd September. First they said I would have it in 24 hours, then 2 or 3 days... it's been a wole week and I still haven't it. In te 5th day they ask you to declare what's inside so they can match it if they open the bag... The day I lost it they told me sometimes the plane is full of bagagge so happily they just leave the other ones for the next flight... I am desperate, I had important things there and it seems they don't care about anything! I suppose it's only bad luck, I used this company many times... but seems that there's a lot of people whith that problem. By the way, you should know that they give a compensation for the first days; up to 50€/day, since the day you lost it to 7 days (that's what they say, hope it's true), you must keep the receips of necessary thing like shoes, clothes, underwear, hygiene stuff...

Vueling our luggage reference Jtrvy10234 who left Paris on 02 September at 6259 flight with a connection flight in 3314 in Rome with a final destination Santorini was not located there 04 days. Please check what were the connections of these flights and find our luggage. we need to send photo of them. DO SOMETHING !!! Are destroying OUR TRIP !!!

ok, so I thought I goofed up and made a sort of big [but fixable] mistake. I had booked a flight on Vueling on Dec 7th, from BCN to MRS. I got an email about a month ago with a slight time change. Ok, no biggie. Then I was adding prepaid baggage to the flight last week and realize that flight is Dec 8th! So I do some maneuvering and change some hotel details and all's well. Still don't understand how I made that mistake, I am pretty careful. Well, I was just now reviewing the reservation and I look at the original confirmation - and it was indeed for the 7th! I check online and the reservation is the 8th! So, all is in place but bottom line is they changed the flight by an entire day! Don't know why, there are flights and seats on both days. I have never read this website before doing a search today. Not happy to see all the bad reviews, especially about checked bags getting lost! Fingers crossed.

Hi - never fly with this airline unless you're happy with delays. Never choose a flight that if you have a 5 hour delay means you arrive too late for anything - We eventually arrived at 3:00am in the morning so had to book a hotel and return to the airport in the morning to pick up the hire car. We had a 5 hour delay from London Gatwick to Florence VY6205 on 26 July 2014 due to a technical fault of the incoming aircraft - which had been diverted to Pisa. Seems a lot of Florence flights get diverted to Pisa. Perhaps it was never a technical fault and just lack of gate capacity at Florence perhaps? Or they didn't put enough fuel in the plane and requested a priority landing (like Easyjet have been known to do...) - they just had to go to Pisa. Shame the customers have to get on a bus. If anyone has any insight into why lots of Vueling planes get diverted to Pisa please let me know. Vueling are clearly at the bottom of every airports priority list so they get no service at all and fall to the bottom of the pile for everything - slots, gates, baggage handling. Easyjet best for punctuality / Vueling the worst. I've just filed my compensation claim via the CAA after Vueling ignored it. This airline needs to be taken to task.

On 13th of Aug 2014 we were scheduled to fly Florence - Split Croatia. What a mass. The flight was scheduled for 12.35 Now it's 18.11. We are still in Florence. The flight was canceled around 12.45. Since then they changed their decision what to do w us at least 5 times. They wanted to fly us via Barcelona w a night in Barcelona. Another option was 3 nights in Rome /can u believe it?/ , then they send some people to take a ferry via Ancona. Then they said that we wil leave tonight from Pisa an that the bus is ready to take us there. That was around 16.30. Finally around 18h they say they are takin us to Genova and from there to Split. All this terably reminds me on violating human rights , not just EU laws! The staff at the airport is confused and not well trained to handl the situation. All together a nightmare! Will keep posting. ... a long night is in front of us

Same here. 29.8.14 Vueling lost one out of three checked bags fr om Ibiza to Barcelona. My husband had to continue his journey back to London without the bag, and took it all up with both Vueling and BA (who the actual trip was booked with) back at home. So far, one person has told us that our bag was flown to London on Saturday (it was not), another person said that they have no idea wh ere the bags is, and won't until it arrives somewhere (wtf?!) and other said it's proabably still at BCN. I cannot believe this is allowed to happen on such a massive scale. It's a disgrace. I'm even checking Spanish Ebay in case it's all a scam and someone at BCN is selling the bags - because I just cannot accept that so many bags just go 'missing'. Also, in these time of heightened security, how can a piece of checked luggage be allowed to get lost at an international airport?

Yes, they lost our luggage too. Barcelona to Paris on 8/25/14. Swissport handles baggage in Paris and with several other Vuelling customers in line there, and the person in charge there confided to me that Vuelling loses a bag on every flight that comes in there "guaranteed". I booked Iberia, but seems they code shared with Vueling. Never again. Ruined our trip. No response yet, not information, no compensation, no bag. I didn't think airlnes like this operated any more.

Just another update on my daughters lost luggage. The next day they said it went to Amsterdam ... Which is their last stop and they would get it to Sicily ...it never got there...so when they went back to the airport heading for Amsterdam ...they said it was in Catalania....now in Amsterdam ..5 days later no bag. The phone numbers do not work...it's awful

My daughter and cousin flew with Vueling from Parlemo to Zagreb and they lost their luggage!!! They flew on 21.08.14 Flight VY 6159 and still haven't gotten any assistance from Vueling. They gave them a number to call but it's always busy. They can't continue on their travels until they get their luggage. I have never heard of such bad service and it looks like they have a long history of losing luggage, you'd think the company would realise this and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Very frustrated by their absolute lack of service or organisation.

We were booked on a flight from Bucharest to Barcelona first ,and then to Ibiza(about one hour flight).Is the 12th day and my luggages haven`t arrived!This is impossible,they ruinned my holiday because of their irresponsibility and incompetence.WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!Avoid it anyway if you can,I advise anyone who is considering flying with Vueling to reevaluate their travel plans and consider another mode of transportation or another airline because their incompetence hasn`t bounderies I forgot to say that our flight to Barcelona was scheduled at 4:40 pm and the flight begin at 6 o`clock for no reson!!!unbearable!!i wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy!!

Guest : This was my first and last experience with this bad airline.I had my direct flight from Bilboa to Venice on saturday 16th august in the afternoon. The luggage wasn't loaded into the aircraft. After four days I have no information about my luggage. It is the worst European airline. The customer service of this badf low cost company is useless and the people who work in the lost luggage section knows nothing about what's going on. They don't care, I can't get info, and I can't reach them on their phone. The staff at the airport is confused and notat all well trained to handl the situation. I am NEVER using Vueling again and I will recommend my entire network not to.

Last year we flew from Barcelona to Munic with vueling and they ´ve lost our luggage .For 10 days. recompensation:229€ 5 months later after along complicated process of reclaiming .THIS Year we did the same journey- I really didn´t want to fly ever again with them, but there wasn´t a cheaper flight on the 1st. of August- AND THEY`VE LOST OUR LUGGAGE AGAIN!!!! INCREDIBLE! Now we knew how it works (VERY VERY BAD) and we got it back after ONLY 4 Days-although we landed at 9.oo a.m. in MUC and they called us at11.30 a.m. from BCN and told us that the luggage is there.Then -what´s the problem to send it with the next flight to Muc-(2 hours-3 flights per day? On weekends the " lost and found "apparently is not working. Nobody Knows anything. I won´t ever fly with this messy airline....2 flights- twice lost lugagge....100% failure.

This was my first ans last expérience with this airlines.I had my flight from Barcelona to Nice. The luggage wasn't loaded into the aircraft.We have no information about our luggage. It is the worst European airlines. Unfortunately it was the only direct flight from Barcelona to Noce

My luggage was not put in the same plane I took from Paris to Bilboa. They told me at first I would get it in Bilboa two days later. I showed up at the airport in Bilboa and nobody knew why my luggage was not on the plane again. Now I am in Barcelona and my luggage was sent to Bilboa even if I asked three times to send it to Barcelona instead. They say my luggage is in Bilboa now and will be sent to Barcelona "ASAP".... But nobody can tell me in which flight and when it will arrive.. The customer service is useless and the people who work in the lost luggage section knows nothing about what's going on

We were changing planes in Barcelona, flying to Milan. The departure boards at the airport initially said that the gate would be announced in an hour. That message was later deleted, with no gate listed. My wife checked the Vueling mobile app, which did list a gate. However, the sign at the gate read Copenhagen. We later found out that this was indeed the flight to Milan, but we were not allowed to board because the plane's door had been shut. To repeat: no gate listed on departure board, wrong city listed at the gate, so we missed our flight.

Recently I bought 4 Vueling air ticekts for my friend using my credit card. Is there any problem if I am not travelling in the group? Upon check in, do they have to produce my credit card for verification?

American in France (d.h.) : My last statement was meant to say, unless you have a carry-on, avoid these folks. Then again, even if their prices are good, spend a little more and make Vueling your dire LAST choice! Awful. I will not stop here. I will submit some of your comments to the E.U. office of consumer complaints and to the National Enforcement Bodies (NEB): ec.europa.eu/transport/passengers/air/air_en.htm I would encourage everyone else to do the same. In addition, the European Union allows has a small claims court. I plan to file for "punitive" compensation. I hope you don't give up, send paper work and complain. If Vueling is not listening, then the E.U. must.

The Pisa airport called me on night 4 and said my luggage had arrived! What a luck!! I picked it up today and the polycarbonate bag is totally destroyed, no idea how it's even possible but just happy to have my bag back! The vueling website still says it's missing and I'm sure if I would to call them they would say the same. THIS COMPANY HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, NEVER CHECK IN A BAG WITH THEM..EVER!!! Guest : Vueling lost my luggage flying fr om Ibiza to Pisa (layover in Barcelona) on July 28th. They have been no help, only telling me that they had "no idea where my baggage is". It has completely ruined my trip as I am traveling through the end of September with that 1 bag and now have absolutely nothing! Today on the phone their customer service representative actually hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor and file a complaint. It's been 4 days, no word on wh ere my luggage is, apparently it's not in Barcelona, Pisa or Ibiza. Has anyone had any luck ever getting their bags back or is it time to accept that it is gone forever!?

Did they find any of your bags!?! Guest : Exactly same thing is happening to me.. Barcelona to Naples..Lost 2bags and it's been 4 days.Have you found your bag, yet? Hans : To say this airline is Disgraceful would be an understatement! Highly recommend People not fly with them unless you want your luggage damaged or lost with no compensation, 5hr delayed flights with no explanations... I have used veiling four times in the past two weeks and my luggage was lost on the first flight and the flight was delayed two hours, second flight five hour delays with no meal vouchers, third flight four hour delay and the fourth flight damaged luggage with a four delay. Kaleigh Kaczmarek : Lost luggage on flight VY1004/25 June MAD > BCN Paid extra to be able to check a bag and it still hasn't arrived. The clerk at the airport said it would be returned yesterday evening and it hasn't been. Over 20 bags went missing on our flight (I've got an excellent picture of the hoards of people waiting). The world tracer services hasn't been updated with my bag location and just says "PENDING. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER". I've been on the line for over 30 minutes and no one is able to pick up the phone... this is a great way to spend my vacation.

Yusuf bekiroglu : Hi We lost baggage form barcelona to ibiza flight. Now we are ibiza but we havent got any clohts. We came here for holiday to on sunday please help us to find our baggage Bekiroglu My daughter arrived in Ibiza from Malaga and to has no luggage!! So annoying, no clothes, toiletries etc and Tracer just keeps saying check later!! Not a great help, wasn't even offered money to buy essentials

We flew Barcelona to Brussels on 24th July. Woman at check in desk didn't read my passport properly and checked us in as two completely different people on a different flight and sent our bags off down the conveyor with the wrong tags on them. We realised after this and she promised to chase our bags and change the tags but the never made it to Brussels. Now they have no idea where they are or what tags are on them and we have given up hope of ever seeing our belongings again. Ruined our dream holiday. NEVER USE THIS AIRLINE!

I booked two days ago with Vuelings and am now receiving another persons itinerary with the same booking reference. Vuelings seem to have a 'shrug shoulders' attitude on there 'chat'. They (the other people, that I do not know) are due to fly tomorrow morning and I am due to fly on Tuesday 29th July 2014. I have managed to find a UK telephone number (that I will share when I call first thing tomorrow - if it works!). Anyone know why I should have the same booking number as some one else that I do not know? Or am I stupid in thinking this could cause a big problem for all parties concerned?
