I have seen tweets from passengers on flights on the 29th who have had their bags returned.

It did it again ! This website is censoring my comments! OK - I was trying to say that the PIR tracker website has been " not at all useful " .

Forgive my typos! I meant to say that the PIR tracking website was a * of time. I wasn't trying to use a swear word- I don't know why the asterisk is there!!!

Has anyone got their bags yet? As Isabel says , the message on the Global Baggage Solutions line says that bag ages fr om 29th Sept have arrived and the courier company will contact the owners to deliver them. Half the bags from the 30th Sept flight ( our flight) are here. And as Isabel says, the 1st/2nd flights are coming via Barcelona . I too have tried the PIR number in the tracking website that Vueling directs you to- it's a * of time! Has anyone found a number wh ere you can actually speak to a human being on the phone at Global Baggage Solutions? Iive near Gatwick and would happily go and collect my luggage if I could just speak to an actual person.

Isabel : Hi we were also on the 1st October flight. Message on Global Baggage Solutions tonight says that bags in 1st and 2nd October flights VY6206 are coming back to the UK via Barcelona. It does not say when that will happen. The number to dial from the UK is 0344 375 4262 option 4. Lynn Murphy : Hi All I flew home to Gatwick from Florence on 1st October, and like you, my suitcase was left behind without my knowledge or consent. I did manage to speak to someone at Baggage Solutions today and they said it is still in Florence. I did find information on this page on the ATOL website which might also be useful to others. www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=2211&am... I certainly won't be flying with Vueling again and I think we should do all we can to make others aware of the way they treat their passengers. Hi Lynn , I'm flew with the same flight as you. Did you get your luggage back? Now , I'm back to Hong Kong without any luggage and information from airline. I had called and send a lot of email still no feedback. I dunno what can I do now. My bag was lost on Vueling Airlines on sept 14,2015. I filed a report that day. I can't successfully call Vueling Air. Their automatic response to the lost luggage site just says "in process". Any advice is welcome. I caution everyone to avoid Bueling Air at all cost.

You should have been asked to fill in a form on arrival at the airport. Did you arrive at Gatwick? If so , the company which deals with Vuelings missing or delayed luggage is Global Baggage Solutions. You can contact them on their website and if you email them , they can send you a PIR number. To be honest, I don't think it's really helped much to have that number, but they do give you a telephone number you can call for a recorded message update . If it's not Gatwick, then I suggest you email the airport that you arrived at and they should be able to tell you which baggage company will help. I still have heard nothing about when our bags might make it back from Florence to Gatwick......... Guest : Can anyone tell me how to get a PIR number?

Appalling. Don't use them. They knowingly left my luggage behind in Florence along with that of all the other passengers on the flight and didn't tell us, or their customer services or Gatwick and 4 days later haven't made contact even though they have my email address. I just have a number for a 3rd party company to keep ringing to see if my bag is back yet. Disgraceful

The message has been updated yet again to say more will be delivered tomorrow but I can't help but think that we have to wait for the two previous flights luggage to be delivered first before ours is delivered. has anyone actually received their luggage yet? If so which flight were you on?

I have just called Global Baggage Solutions at Gatwick ( 03443754262) at 11.35 am on Sunday 4th October, and their recorded message says that some baggage has arrived back in London from the Florence flights. This will be processed and delivered by a courier company, who will contact the owners to arrange delivery. They expect more bags to arrive on this afternoons flight, and they will update their recorded message after that.

Hello everyone, I just want share a good news. I just picked up my luggages in the florence airport. I asked the lost and found service they just start transfer bags yesterday. And it really slow process. They only have less 3 staff do the scam works. If you are very emergency like me who will back to China tonight, you could choose to go florence airport pick up. But I think vueling airline still need response for my cost include my flight tickets from Paris to florence, and the original flight from Paris to Milan. And my hotel fee and return us the luggage cost.

I have already commented on this, but since then have spoken to BA who say the problem is not theirs even though we booked through them. Apparently it is International convention that the carrying airline is responsible for the luggage. So we have to rely on Vueling to pull their fingers out. Surely the ideal situation is for them to arrange an empty aircraft to transport the bags to Gatwick! My worry is that they will do nothing relying on the Insurance companies to settle the problem. I have also written to Simon Calder as well as the BBC News team but as it is the weekend I expect it will be Monday before I hopefully get a reply. I did manage to speak to someone at Vueling yesterday evening but did not get any really useful details or any words of comfort that reduce my fear that our luggage is unlikely to turn up. Overall I think it is a complete shambles and people who I have spoken to agree. They certainly will not be flying with Vueling and they will suggest the same to as many others as possible.

Does anyone from Vueling read this and feel shamed or embarassed? My luggage has been delayed like all the others reported on this page on the flight from Florence to Gatwick on Wednesday 30th September. It is now Saturday and still no information, contact or anything whatsoever from Vueling, World Tracer etc. It's like we don't exist or even paid our money. We were allowed to fly even though Vueling knew our luggage hadn't been loaded with no word to us. Friend of ours were on the BA London city airport flight due to leave half an hour before ours but was delayed by 3 hours as passengers were told that 20 people wouldn't be flying to reduce the weight on the plane which would be affected by windy weather and compromise the security of the plane. The same reason our Vueling flight didn't load the luggage. In the end 8 people were bumped off the City Airport flight instead of 20. They arrived at Gatwick with their luggage. Our flight arrived late without luggage. Our flight wasn't even full so places could have been offered to the 8 people bumped off the City Airport flight. Both flights booked through BA. The City Airport staff did have the guts to talk to their passengers. Vueling didn't. Probably knew there would be a riot. Disgusting customer service. I bet they've got their shoes and clothes! I don't think this site achieves anything really other than to let off steam. We have complained to BA, emailed the CEO and even the Radio 4 Travel presenter Simon Calder. They appear to be stonewalling which makes them all look like thieves and liars.

Our group of 4 also have delayed baggage from September 30 flight from Florence to Catania. The number provided to us by the Vueling agent only works from an Italian phone. (???) Our Italian landlord was finallly able to get thru last night and we were told the bags would be on this afternoon's flight. No contact from Vueling and no way for me to contact them myself from my US mobile. I tried several numbers on their website and no luck getting through even though I am able to make other calls in Italy with no problem. Does anyone have a working phone number for customer service? So frustrating - worst airline experience ever. I will NEVER fly Vueling or any other airline associated with Iberia.

Sorry- I meant the 30th September !! Guest : Our luggage is still in Florence from the 30th October flight to Gatwick. We were given a PIR number at Gatwick by Global Baggage Solutions. Their helpline number is 03443754262 and a recorded message on that line today says that the luggage is confirmed to still be at Florence Airport, awaiting processing, to be forwarded to Gatwick. They don't know when this will be because of "weather conditions at Florence". I called Vueling baggage helpline earlier today on 08443387780, and spoke to a very pleasant chap but he really couldn't help much and could give me no indication of when the luggage might get to the UK. We booked this flight through British Airways but their lost baggage helpline said it was Vuelings problem and they couldn't help me. The same message came back in response to my husbands email to the chairman of BA! ( although they did ask us to send the flight booking details to them ).

Still the same issue again today. Just arrived at Gatwick with the news that luggage had not arrived. My concern is that they knew at Florence about the problems but did not inform us of the situation. Really not happy at all and wondering how this can be escalated? I will be complaining to BA tomorrow as Vueling are their partners and we booked our City break through BA.

I have just collected an Italian student from gatwick, 1 October Florence to gatwick. Unfortunately her luggage never arrived nor that of every other passenger!!!! Definitely no PIR No. was given to her at Gatwick baggage reclaim making it necessary to phone premium numbers for info. Have today discovered that the luggage of 3 consecutive days of flights from Florence is apparently sitting in Florence airport. It all seems very strange and rather unbelievable. Please post if you have any information about when the luggage will be delivered. We have had to go clothes shopping today for basics. What a terrible way to start a holiday.

Due to strong wind in Florence on 29.9 all baggage on VY6804 was left behind. The passengers (the customers) were not informed about this until arriving in CPH (a message in the loudspeakers at the baggage reclaim area). The local handler (MenziesAviation) had 2 agents to serve approximately 100 passengers and it was simply chaos. We are now at Oct 2nd (3 days later) and the baggage has not arrived, it is impossible to get any information on the location of the bags and about the expected delivery. On the CPH airport home page, the Menzies e-mail address was wrong (and still is) in spite of my request to change it. It is impossible to contact Vueling - I have sent a complaint via the only e-mail address I could find but have had absolutely no reply. I cannot find a telephone number that works. It is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. What is going on with you, Vueling?

Btw, we are affected passengers of th Sept 29 flight from Florence to Gatwick Carla : We were able to talk to a Customer Service Agent tonight from the Vueling hotline, still no update on our luggages. To claim damages, we need to mail the following requirements within 21 days to their Madrid office which makes matter worse, I think. Original PIR (Property Irregularity Report, issued by the airport) - Were we given this? Original Baggage claim tag Original Boarding pass Original Invoices for basic expenses Copy of Personal ID (DNI, NIE or PASSPORT) Complete bank details

Luggage has been missing since. The 27th. No one responds to phone calls, voice mails or emails. We are now back home and have no clothing with us. Our luggage is somewhere in Rome but now we have no way of getting it. Doesn't help thag Rome doesn't answer their telephone either. I am Convinced that Vuelings employees have some Type of scam going on after reading all these lost luggage reports. It seems that luggage with expensive items never get returned and the only ones that actually do pop up are the ones with only clothing. What do we do!?!?

Worst Airline EVER . Do not trust this airline with your luggage. How can so passengers luggage go missing and not be found? Luggage mostly made up or suitcases cannot just disappear. They must be sitting somewhere just waiting for time to pass until the staff probably get to claim what others have lost.No one takes ownership when you call. You get the same scripted responses every time. Seriously who manages these complaints. Other companies take seriously what their customers have to say and investigate where there is a trend but not Vueling. Someone needs to do something about this

i flew vueling airlines through rome, and my bag were lost for 3 months. after spending hundreds of dollars in phone charges calling the airline everyday and being on hold for hours and getting no where, i actually went to rome airport cause that where i was told they might be. Rome airport is useless, especially the lost luggage department for airlines like Vueling at Rome. they leave all the lost bags literally sitting out front for anyone to come and take ( mine being a standard black bag i assume thats what has happened to it). As i was sorting through the bags trying to find mine, i came across a friends bag which was clearly identified by his name and visible bag tag number, yet it was still sitting out the front as if it was a 'lost bag'. all they had to do was put the bag tag number in their system sure enough it was my friend bag which they could find for months... Anyway, still no info or anything on my bag because they are too incompetent to find it and have the most unorganised lost baggage system in place. There is never any representative you can directly contact as everything they do is online. absolutely no customer service or care. AS far as insurance goes, has anybody been successfull in making a claim?

Before three weeks I flight from Rome to Prague and I am still waiting for my luggage. But next week I would like to write some letter to Vueling and ask for compensation for my lost luggage. Do you have some experience with compensation for lost luggage? What I need for complaint? Is is necessary to send also original receipts of things, which I had in luggage? Thanks for help. Jana.

I was on this flight - did you have any joy? Guest : Booked with Vueling to travel from Gatwick to Florence on 5th September 2015. The flight, which should have taken off at 18.25 was consistently delayed. No representative of the airline was at Gatwick and no information about the reason for the delay was given. The final time for take off was given as 00.08. However a BA employee then told us that the flight had landed, from Barcelona, but the crew were out of flying hours. We were told we would fly at 11.30 the next day, (6th September) and checked in for this flight which eventually took off at 16.30. At no time was an apology given or an explanation for the delay. Vueling are proving difficult to pin down as to compensation for our badly affected short break. Think carefully before flying with this organisation.

Vueling lost my bag on 13 September. Terrible customer service and no one can tell me where my bag is other than it was sent to Bilboa. Well I'm in San Francisco now so having my bag some where in northern Spain isn't helping. I finally called Bilboa airport and they transferred me to Iberia (handles luggage for Vueling at Bilboa) lost luggage at the Bilboa airport, +34 944 86 98 35. They checked my record and thought my bag had been delivered. I told them it wasn't and they seem to know what to do. The Iberia woman was so much nicer and helpful. Anyway, since Vueling is completely incompetent, if they loose your luggage try contacting the actual airport it was lost in or delivered to.

Guest : This same thing is happening to me right now. Except my bag is sitting in Bilboa airport. Did you ever get it back? My luggage has been lost with vueling since the 2nd of August, 2015. They called me up 2 days ago in which it was found but sent it to Mykonos where it first went missing 7 days ago, I filled out the form explaining to them where I will be for the next week. For the last 2 days I have been trying to get them to send to Malta now to Budapest where I will be tomorrow. It's still apparently in Mykonos & no body can get in contact with them to put it on a flight to get to me. The whole time I have been calling their customer service & their lost luggage number to be put on hold in most cases 30 min each time to be hung up on. I have got through to them maybe 3 times in 30 times of calling. The same flight was also brought forward 3 hours without notifying anyone, I arrived to be good my flight had already left for Mykonos the next flight will be the next day from Rome. I had to pay 350 euro for another flight. Vueling said they would refund the flights & it will go into my bank in 3 days.. It's been 7 days no refund. Vueling also goes under 2 under airlines, so once this airline goes under they open they just go under another airline name. It's disgusting, my holiday is almost over & I haven't had my luggage the whole time & who knows if I will get it in the end.

01.09. I had a flight Munich-Rome -Zadar. In Munich first they didn't want to accept my babys suitcase without extra charge but then the lady said ok and checked both cases and babys pushchair. I had to leave pushchair in front the airplaine . In Rome stuardess said that pushchair go straight to Zadar. Vueling was late with boarding, so I had to walk around with baby and then we had to wait more at the airplane. Finally coming to Zadar but no luggage. No pushchair. Calling them everyday but they still didn't located my luggage. I had the privilege to be hanged up 2 by the costumer service employees. What is wrong with them?? They offered us comp.350 euro max. For both of us. We were a month away all of our stuff were in those cases. And they don't offer compensation in case of lost pushchair 😲😲 that's what they told me. Then I managed to get in touch with someone from Fiumichino (after 17 days lugagge went missing)- 2 days after- luggage was delivered to my home. In Vueling World tracer my luggage is still not found. What to say. I had to do it on my own and had to wait 19 day.

This airline has to be one of the worst airlines. We had our flight from Gatwick to florence cancelled this evening. Not one representative from the airline was made available to offer support to the staff at Gatwick. There was confusion as to whether the flight was going or not. The CEO of this company needs to be held accountable for there poor performance. I would like to see a copy of the investigation as to why this flight did not happen as the reports we were getting were confusing and contradictory. Very poor service will avoid this airline at all cost in future.

Guest : It is now August 16. On July 19th I boarded a flight from Barcelona to Venice (90 minute flight nonstop) and Vueling Airlines "lost" my luggage. I have NEVER received any information from this useless airline and you can never get in touch with them! I have learned that this airline subcontracts the airport baggage handling to another company and yet another company is responsible for finding your 'lost" baggage. Given the scope of this problem with Vueling Airlines (thousands of bags per month!!) it is hard to imagine that this is incompetence only. You have to believe that many/most are being stolen and are ending up in some black market someplace. I wonder how many of you that have posted on this sight (236) have ever gotten your baggage back. I would guess very few. the Spanish government has been "investing this airline" apparently for several years. Why they are still operating is a mystery. There needs to be an international alert to avoid flying on Vueling Airlines. Yes, I am also shocked that this kind of business continues to exist. We have been missing our bags since August 2.

My luggage was tagged wrong by Vueling in Barcelona. The fantastic staff at Gardermoen tracked it down two weeks after the flight. Barcelona Airport found my name in the case, Vueling had full information about the luggage missing, but no one checked the system for lost luggage and it was sent to Vuelings (I guess BIG) storage room. Luckily, the staff at Gardermoen read the reports from Barcelona and contacted them and I got it back. Never heard anything from Vueling (calling and sending emails daily), but again: hope you all meet such a fantastic lady I got help from at Gardermoen. I guess I had never seen my case again if it haven't been for her.

17 August 2015 11:08:00 where to go in Rome for finding my cases??

Guest : Our 7 suitcases were lost fr om Athens to Croatia via Barcelona on the 11 July I made over 20 phone calls and wh ere told our bags are most likely in Rome made calls to Rome lost and found they insisted that no bags were found on the 11 July so we decided that one of us will go to Rome and have a look when he got there he said there is a whole floor full with lost/found luggage, a helpful lady helped him find our cases in ten minutes by this time we had left Croatia and gone to Paris when he went to board the flight back with the 7 cases he was charged ˆ855 for over weight I rang vueling in Spain and they said the bags are no longer lost so it's not their responsibility to fly the bags to Paris as the passenger come to Rome and took the bags so not only did we have no clothes or essentials for 7 days we didn't even get our ˆ50 a day compensation we had to pay over ˆ400 to fly to Rome and back and ˆ855 to get our backs on the flight great airline So my guess is your luggage is sitting somewhere in Rome with the other hundreds of unclaimed luggage Our cases got stuck in Rome. And we can't reach someone of handling company in Rome. But we're thinking to go there and find bag ourselves.. Where to go in Rome for finding my cases?? Is there som e special Lost section???
