The treatment we received at ORLY airport from the management with reference to this Airline (on 10/7/15) was absolutely unacceptable. We were waiting to check in for over 40 minuets because the line was moving at a glacial speed.when we reached the counter at 12.47pm we were told that the boarding gate closed at12.45pm. We were then asked to go to the ticket counter, the people there told us to speak to the manager in charge. The manager was extremely rude and insisted that we missed the announcement when in reality the person making announcements (miss Accueil) went to people personally to tell them about the flight. She never approached us and the announcement was made in French, she even accused us of not being in the line which is ridiculous. 4 other passengers besides us missed their flight in this manner and the manager had the audacity to ask us if we thought the person making the announcement was lying and she told us that this happens all the time. Was she possibly RACIST? She also told us we should've known our boarding gate shuts 45 minutes in advance. It is disrespectful to talk to your clients this way and we couldn't help but wonder if this was related to the possibility that at Vueling overbooked their seats. We went back to the ticket counter and asked for available flight tickets on the same day and we were told that there were no flights available. Shortly after, we found tickets online for the same evening . We can't help but notice that the Vueling management is extremely incompetent and very rude, please consider hiring people that are better informed because this makes for very poor service and absolute disregard for people's time and money.

THIEVES, FRAUDSTERS MASQUERADING AS AIRLINE. - My friends and i booked 2 different reservations each From BCN-RAK 3 weeks ago in Canada - Full confirmation AND posted/paid on our credit card - Went to check in in BCN told 'Ticket cancelled' - Customer service at BCN should be renamed 'Customer Bitches' - would do nothing to resolve or help, simply buy a new ticket we were told - New ticket was 5x price of the online price AND they demanded we pay in cash. What airline does that? Why? I'll tell you, so you have recourse via the credit card payment - BEST OF ALL. 3 hours after we landed in Marrakech, I get an automated email saying my ticket was cancelled due to 'reasons beyond Vuelngs control'. * * . They cancelled it on purpose so they would force us to buy costlier tickets at the airport. REVENGE STRATEGY - Social Media Blitz - Spainish and EU Air Regulator Complaints - Of course attempt to go through the airline but that will result in nothing - Email the top executive of Vueling and the parent company (IAG) - I have the emails of all the executives. This isin't lost luggage or cancelled flight, this is targeted fraud at a corporate level to innocent consumers. DOWN WITH VUELING. They must be put out of business once and for all.

Guest : Vueling lost mine and my partners bags on a plane from santorini- rome - gatwick on the 17th June. Did anyone experience the same problems on this flight or have any suggestions on how to get this back everyone seems to be unable to trace them.. GBS originally told me the luggage was found and now are saying that they are not and the reference they gave me is non exhistant!!! This airline is absolutely ridiculous! Ok so its been nearly two weeks since I submitted SR 1-3911069728 when I received a reply on facebook stating they've received my request but guess what? Still have heard absolutely nothing from Vueling! Even though I have followed with another email and facebook request. All I wanted was to change the passanger name on a flight, simple right?....and before you ask why I haven't called, none of their phone numbers work from Australia. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!

The Vueling's web-site for booking is misleading and I incline to think that it is done intentional in order to cash more money in particular after facing a stubborn refusal to correct the double booking without extra charges. When booking for ex., for two adults and a child, there is a box for the second adult, as well as for the child, entitled "copy details of". One has three options: select, adult 1/ child 1 for adult 2, or select adult 1/ adult 2 for child 1. First, I do not see the reason behind this feature. Why would anyone need to copy the details of adult 1/child 1 when booking a ticket for adult 2? What is the possibility that the passengers have the exact same name and surname? Second, it is very confusing when one needs to book a ticket for children, in particular because some airlines require the client to provide the information identifying who accompanies the children. It is even more confusing as for the children the client is asked to fill in the birth date. I have fallen in the trap of thinking that I need to provide the information on who is accompanying the child and in the box "copy the details of " I have selected adult 1. This resulted in having the name of the adult 1 appearing twice on the booking. Therefore there is no booking for the child. How is it possible that the system allows that one can make a double booking for the same passenger ? On 31 May I have contacted by e-mail Vueling customers department.Only on 11 May I have received the following e-mail: "Thank you for contacting Vueling. In response to your e-mail we would like to indicate that the name change (only allowed by calling to our customer service department) has a penalty of 50 EUR per passenger and per flight plus fare increase. … Best regards, Neftali C. Customer Service Department VUELING AIRLINES S.A." I would like to stress that in this case the 11 days that have elapse since my e-mail result also in an increase of the "fare" because it is higher and higher as days pass by. On 15 June I contacted by phone the customer service , the operator informed me again about the fact that I need to pay a penalty (i.e. including fare). I complaint that this is a scam. However the operator was not able/ refused to transfer me to the superior in spite of my insistence. I am not aware of any other situation when an employee is not able to pass a complaint to the superior, if requested by the client. On 15 June I contacted again by e-mail Vueling explaining that I find the way the web-booking is designed as misleading and changes to the name of passengers should be made free of charge, in particular in cases when the client is misled by the need to tick one of the boxes under "copy the details of " when booking a ticket for a child. On 16 June I received the following e-mail: "We can´t to change this name free, please you read this mail because it is the one solution. (continuation identical as in the e-mail on 31 May) Best regards, [Nombre agente] Customer Service Department" I strongly believe that the web-site of Vueling is intentionally deceptive so that clients are forced to pay more money in order to fix the issue that should not exist in the first place (i.e. "the box copy details of" should not be present).

I am a cameraman. I recently flew from Marseilles to Rome to gatwick. They have lost all my gear! Over £20,000 worth of equipment! I reported it missing at gatwick and world tracker are trying to find it but they said this airline just doesn't get back to them. I have emailed countless times.... No reply. I have phoned.... On hold for an hour. I hung up in the end as I don't believe there was anyone there. I don't know how this airline can be aloud to operate! Is there someone we can contact as I can't make a wage right now as my tools of trade are hidden away in some airport or worse, someone's garage!!

On May the 21st, 2015, I flew into Roma Fiumicino in order to catch a connecting Vueling flight from Fiumicino to Malaga due to leave within 90 minutes from my arrival. When I arrived in Terminal 3, I couldn't find my flight on the board. So, I asked an airport official who sent me to Terminal 1. At Terminal 1, they sent me to Terminal 2. When I finally arrived at the Vueling check in desk, a very rude Vueling employee informed me that my flight was cancelled and rescheduled to fly from Roma Ciampino. Not knowing the airport nor how to get there, I asked for help and was denied any. Vueling claimed it was not their responsibility to get me to the new airport. With only 55 minutes left to catch my flight, extremely stressed out and in a panic, I had to hurry through the airport, which led me to fall and break my foot. Nobody came to my assistance, not even Vueling. So, with a broken foot I had to make my way to a taxi, which cost me 60 euros to get to Ciampino. Upon arrival at the check in desk in Ciampino, unable to stand or walk any further, I sat on the baggage belt and tried to ask the Vueling representative, at the desk, for airport assistance and help. He told me to wait in the queue. To which, at this point, and in so much pain, I told him that even if I could get up (which I couldn't) I wasn't going to until I got some help. After some muttering under his breath, he arranged airport assistance, and without offering any help at all, told me to go and sit on chairs that were at least 4 meters away from the desk until the assistance could arrive. Anyone who has ever broken their foot will appreciate the agony of moving at all let alone that distance. The only people who were mildly helpful were the cabin crew because they could see the pain I was in throughout the flight. They even gave me a complaint form to fill in. The very next day, after arriving back in Spain, I was hospitalised, my leg put in plaster and given sick leave from work. In all, to the day I will be able to go back to work, I will have lost 1250ˆ in earnings, not to mention the pain, stress and frustration of not being able to move for the last few weeks. I contacted Vueling, demanding some form of compensation and their response was to refund me 40ˆ and deny their responsibilities by hiding behind legal jargon. This is absolutely shameful. I will NEVER recommend this airline to anyone. As they don't look after their clients, they don't deserve to have any.

My luggage was lost on 4th June in somewhere between Ibiza-Barcelona-Berlin. I emailed to website's lost luggage section 4 times but only got automatic reply without any name of person in charge. After reading so many ' lost ' cases here, We are coming to this idea that there must be some organised big scale crime or conspiracy going on. Otherwise how you can explain they can lost so many bags ( sometime an entire passanger's luggage were lost ) so often and no information about it ? Are there some groups selling these stolen items within this airline co-operating with airport staff ? If Spain doesn't want to gain the reputation of the nation as bunch of thieves, Police or government ( Transport ministry if they has ) should launch the investigation on Vueling case. We even suggested journalist friends to look at into this case. Smell like a big big rotten scandal ...

OUR FLIGHT WAS FROM ROME TO PARIS ,WHEN WE DID THE CHECK IN IN ROME , THE LADY WHO WORKED AT THE VUELING COMPANY MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE AND SENT OUR LUGGAGE WITHOUT A TAG , WE INSISTED TO STAY THERE UNTIL THEY WILL FIND OUR LUGGAGE BUT THEY PROMISED US TO DO SO AND GAVE AS A CODE. WHEN WE GOT TO PARIS, WE WERE TOLD THAT OUR LUGGAGE WAS STUCK IN ROME. SINCE THEN WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH A NIGHTMARE, WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY INFORMATION FROM THEM , IT WAS A LUGGAGE OF 40 KG. WE MADE SO MANY PHONE CALLS TO VUELING AND THEY PROMISED AGAIN AND AGAIN TO CONTACT US BUT NOTHING. OUR VACATION WAS RUINED .MY FRIEND WHO LIVES IN ROME WENT TO FIUMICINO AIRPORT AND FOUND THERE OUR LUGGAGE WHICH WAS BROKEN. HE ASKED VUELING TO SEND IT IMMEDIATELY TO US WITH OUR FULL ADDRESS, PHONES , BUT TILL THAT DAY WE DIDN'T GET ANYTHING. WE EVEN FLEW TO BARCELONA AND MET WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE'S MANAGER OF VUELING AND AGAIN WE GOT SO MANY PROMISES AND STILL NOTHING, WE EVEN DIDN'T GET THE COMPENSATION THEY PROMISED . Incredibly bad airline.... They lost my bag 3 times within an 11 day period,nwhen i finally recovered it in london the locks were broken off and the contents had been sifted through and hastily thrown back in The girl in munich who checked me in sniggered and said "i hope we dont lose your bag"..... I thought nothing of it at the time, obviously this is not a rare occurrence.... Even when they found it in barcelona, they lost it again on the same day, the agent on the phone actually said that "the new flight code that has been entered is total nonsense"...... Indicates either a practical joke or an attempted theft.... Still locked in dispute with them, going to take it to the europa passenger rights commission

Yesterday we flew from Berlin to Catania with Vueling with a stopover in Fumicino Rome. At fumicino we were already delayed and left for Catania at about 12:30 in the night even though our flight was supposed to be at 10:10 Before boardign the flight, I asked the door attendant of vueling to check ifmy luggage is already loaded and he confirmed it and said yes all the luggage is loaded. When we arrived in Catania, there were only 4-6 pieceds of luggage and ours was not there. How is it possible that Vueling can so easily lie on our face and why even after delays and a stop over of more than 4 hours our luggage could not be boarded? The man in Catania said maybe our luggage will come today or maybe not - what an attitude. Our file reference is CTAVY12504 and the number we were given to call in catania is not answering at all. We have no clothes at all and all our toiletries are in the luggage. Does anyone know what compensation we are allowed for delayed baggage? Also I feel like going to court against Vueling for lying to me and giving a number to us which never picks up phone. Anyone know how to do this ?

For a health problem I couldn't flight today. I try to change the date of ticket first online and unable to do that at the airport before the plane's departure . They refuse to do it and they ask me to put a complain with a doctor certificate. What else can I do??? I am so disappointed g

Very sad and * to report that offloading of passengers is still happening at Florence airport (Firenze, Italy). Not only that, it is happening at the GATE, AFTER check-in. And in addition, on my flight on 25th March 2015, NO passengers' luggage was loaded, and NOBODY was informed! We only found out when we were waiting at the carousel in Gatwick airport. How IRRESPONSIBLE is that? We understand the captain's safety concerns must overrule our comfort, but had we been informed and given the opportunity, we would have liked to either reschedule our flight as they did offer that, or remove needed items from our luggage so we could get by until they were delivered. Our luggage was delivered by courier today, but other passengers had connecting international flights from the UK to other continents, or a 2-4 day stay before flying onward, and their luggage will probably not find them any time soon. So far I am still * and incredulous that the ground staff and the flight captain were all too chicken to tell us our baggage would not be loaded. WHO IS RUNNING THIS OUTFIT? SACK HIM/HER.

I took a flight on March 5,2015 from Florence to London gatwick. They don't load any bag of any passengers. I've been calling GBS and they told me that it's already 4 flights that they are not carrying any bags affecting 210 passengers. I had a flight yesterday to Manila and I had to rebook my flight! Last news is that they will bring the bags to Barcelona by road! What's??? They are doing anything about it!

I lost my bagage from FCO to ORY and i have already call several time to vueling delay and damage bagagge cost me alot of money by calling from overseas, but nothing help at all. I have already send my boarding pass, my bill , list of the baggage, my contact and email to the PO BOX. But still no information at all very strange airline.

Overbooking problem happened on me on 01/01/2015, and the company doesn't seem want to compensate till now! The office kept procrastinating the online transfer by either not informing me about the failure of the transfer or making excuse that my account info. is incorrct. Very disappointed about Vueling Airlines. Now I'm still in this problem with them, and I really want to witness whether this is an irresponsilble company!! I think my experience is a useful reference for those who want to take their planes. I will add further reviews later after their "reply of my email" if luckily I could receive any.

Luggage was lostsomewhere between Santorini to Rome connecting to Split in Croatia over 7 months ago. Dozens upon dozens of emails to adresses supplied on Vueling website that don't exist, faxes to numbers advised on website that only bounce back, overseas phone calls that go around and around resulting in hangups, sending requested information online only to get the standard response but no result. Finally sent an email to the CEO of Vueling (alex.cruz@vueling.com) and got the following response within 2 days, which satisfied travel insurance company. YAHOO!!!!. What a crappy airline that has absolutely no customer service. "Dear Mr/Mrs ....., In response to your request, we must inform you that the baggage claimed under file ........ has not been located to date, even though VUELING has made every effort to locate it. In similar fashion, the company will continue to search for 100 days following the passenger's airport arrival. Once this period is completed, if the baggage has not been located, the search file will be closed. We regret the inconveniences caused, and we remain at your disposal for any further inquiry. The airlines terms and conditions do not matter as the Montreal Convention overrides them. There is no such thing as the airline needing your original tickets, that is not a requirement of the Montreal Convention. Airlines often have terms in their own T&C's which violate the Montreal Convention and passenger rights such as their unlawful terms excluding liability for jewellery, electronics etc, there is no such thing for them to rely on. Under the Montreal Convention passengers are covered for 1,131 SDR, about 1,367 Euro no matter what the luggage is so when airlines say they are not liable, they are lying. When they say they need all receipts, again that is a try on as again there is no requirement under the Montreal Convention. Airlines often use such try on's to avoid paying passengers what is rightfully due to them. unfortunately passengers often believe the airlines T&C's so they lose out and the airline rubs their hands as they've wrongfully saved themselves the cost of the passengers claim. You have to know your rights to get your rights because they won't tell you but montrealconvention.org will.

Honeymooners cori and trevor skoro : We flew from Rome to croatia with vulling airline and they lost our luggage for the remainder of our 5 days in Croatia we had to buy clothes and shoes and hygiene products as we were supposed to be compensated from them however 6 months later we have sent them everything and still nothing can't even get ahold of them we also paid about 400$ American in phone calls from Croatia to them in Spain this company needs to be reprimanded for there bad service cheers and good luck the skoro,s They have to reimburse you for the purchases you made. montrealconvention.org can help you and they don't charge you a cent. If six months have passed, you shouldn't wait any longer because you only have two years from the date of your flight in which to claim otherwise you will have no claim at all. You are covered for purchases and expenses (including telephone calls) up to 1,131 SDR. A lot of baggage is going missing at Rome and many of Alitalia's staff were arrested for theft of passengers luggage about 18 months ago, wonder if it's still going on.

Try montrealconvention.org, they will help you with your claim completely free of charge and they give you all the information that airlines keep from passengers. As example, airlines will tell you that you are not covered for jewellery etc but this is not true, montrealconvention.org will let you know your rights.

My luggage has been delayed and they Have NEVER refunded the purchases I had to make waiting for my luggage... the excuse being the need the original tickets ... they have already received 6 months ago in a registered mail ! ... so I believe they are clearly dishonest as they are not applying their own T&C . I am looking to report this.

I'm not one to complain, but I must issue this grievance. Vueling did not load my husband's checked bag onto our flight. We traveled with another couple -- all of our luggage was checked at the same time. My husband's bag was the only one missing. Vueling said it would put the bag on the next flight of another airline the next day. Nada. Vueling then confirmed the bag would be put on the next Vueling flight the second day. Nada. At this point, we were fuming!! My husband bought a round trip ticket just to return to the initial city to search for his bag in lost and found. A lot of stress, time and money wasted on our vacation! Horrible customer service via phone. A female associate at the airport was very helpful. It helps to go in-person to take care of business. Will never fly Vueling again!

4th time this year Vueling has lost my luggage. I live in BCN and very often Vueling has best connections...so I kept giving them benefit of doubt. Each time they found my luggage a few days later. This time it has been 12 days. I have tried unsuccessfully to reach anyone by phone. None of the numbers work. There is no customer service number. Tried all numbers on the website...none work. I have now booked a flight to Rome just to go look for my luggage. No...I will not be flying Vueling. EVER again.

The customers service of the company is a fake. The do not answer the e-mails. If they change the conditions of the flight, the don't give you a chance to change the flight, you have to pay for it.

malaga to amsterdam, flight delayed over 1 hr. no tannoy announcements, boarding gate staff said they have no news.flight crew apologised en route.problem was weather. ams-agp return flight cabin crew useless,spent most of the time chatting to each other, no announcements/apologies from anybody,useless pilots said nothing for complete flight no apology for over one hr.delay,or weather at destination etc,completely useless crew on the amsterdam flights 21oct and 24th oct.expected better than easyjet, but the difference is easyjet are mostly on time.

Hi all, I absolutely agree with all of your comments about Vueling. They are the worst airline ever. They lost our luggage on a direct flight from barcelona to genoa on 21 sept. We called them 100s of times and often the number they provided couldn't be reached. We only got through about 4 times after calling every day for over a week and after trying several of their numbers. Also don't count on them contacting you if they find it. When we finally got through on 1 oct, they said they found it in Germany on 27 sept but they didn't bother to tell us. We finally received our luggage on 4 October. It was damaged and baggage handlers stole money I had inside. I am trying to get compensation but don't count on it. We must spread the word to ruin their reputation!

Hi Ana, We took the same flight 3 days after you. Exact same issues. No responses anywhere. I found I at least get a reply on their Facebook page though. Give that a go. Ana Carolina : 14 days of missing luggage and still absolutely no information AT ALL! I called more than 20 times, sent more than 10 emails and NOTHING! Any luck for you guys???? What phones/emails are you trying???? My flight was also from Rome, but the destination was Santorimi, which is a tiny airport and has no service to help. Because of that, I was o lay able to get the reference (JYRVY10266) two days later!!!! I'm pretty sure that if I was the o my looking for my bad I would have already found it.. They are probably not doing * and our bags are wandering around Europe..

Never had issues with Vueling but since I lost my carry-on (there was no more space in the cabin) and I was forced to put it down on September 19th 2014. Today, Oct.13th 2014, there is still no result and nobody know something. No refund nothing. I filled in all online forms and called several times but no help. Worst thing, my optical glasses are in there... WORST Customer Service EVER
