Iyer : I travelled with my kids from Houston to Chennai originating on July 8th on business class. We reached chennai on time on the 10th. All our 5 luggage were missing on our arrival. I filled out the baggage claim form at the airport and was told that I will be notified on the luggage arrival and was assured that the luggage will be delivered the next day. My pathetic experience started following when I started calling to find out about my luggage . I kept calling the number provided but was unable to reach anyone. After an hour of calling finally I got hold of a person and gave all the information again . This followed for multiple times and never able to get a good answer and was miserable for the next 24 hours. Finally my wife called and complained with atmost pain and was finally told that the luggage will be delivered this (11/07/16)evening. Since we were without any of our clothes and necessities for a day, we have to spend to buy the basic things. I always fly BA or Lufthansa. I made a mistake by choosing Etihad. Learnt a lesson and will never fly Ethihad ever again!! Dear Iyer, we are sorry to hear your experience and apologies for the inconvenience caused by us. Stanislau Kharlap : I lost my baggage on 4th July 2016 in Mumbai airport. I travelled from DME(Domodedovo International Airport) -AUH(Abu Dhabi)-BOM. I am currently in Coimbatore. I'm trying to call the customer care and even after stay on the line for 30- 45 mins no one picks up the call. This is very bad. I'm not able to connect to you guys. Etihad Airways : Hi Vinit, Our Baggage Claims team will contact you shortly. Thank you for your patience. *Sky Vinit Kumar : Its been 5 days since my baggage is missing on route BLR-AUH-IAD. Filed the PIR, got the contact details but no updates. Sent mails 2-3 times to baggageclaimsiad@etihad.ae and baggageclaims@etihad.ae but no reply fr om either of them. Anyone hardly picks up the phone and when they do, they don't have any clue regarding my baggage. Don't know what to do now. Its been a week now, No baggage yet. Surprisingly Etihad baggage service has no clue wh ere it is. Just getting responses like we are tracking.

Etihad was really worst in handling customer baggages and complaints. Traveling from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur on 1st July 2016. Already 11days and my baggage is still not found. Don't believe if they said their team will update you on the matter. They just want you to wait and wait without even giving feedback. I will wait for another few days before buying new baggage and items since I need to go back to Abu Dhabi.. Worst experience with Etihad and my short vacation was spoiled. If so, please share this full experience to socialmedia@etihad.ae We'll be here awaiting your reply. *Gill Guest : Was travelling to Dar es salaam Tanzania from Shanghai. We delayed at shanghai for 3hrs and we arrived in Abudhabi 45 minutes before departure of our connection flight to DarEsSalaam, but i was shocked when they told us we can't catchup the flight while we had 45 minutes more.. Anyways, we stayed for 6 hours in Abudhabi airport and they gave us flight to Cairo,Egypt. And stayed in egypt another 6 hrs transit then another 5 hrs flight to DarEsSalaam.. The trip was so long and unexpected, same thing arrived in DarEsSalaam our baggage hasn't arrived upto date. Since 6th july, they are not replying my emails, they dont care anything.. First & last time to fly with ETIHAD POOR AIRWAYS.

My 2 baggage pieces never arrived. Logged PIR at BOM airport. Still no trace of baggage. Abu Dhabi 24hr baggage service numbers are NOT being picked up anymore. Bombay baggage service agents are doing their best to lose all customers - either they do not pick or even if they accidentally do you can hear them hanging up the phone immediately. Not surprising, but frustratinless. How hard cant it be to track baggage all with tags and bar codes and load them on the right flight? My baggage has medications for the elderly. It is unbelievable that an airline, primarily operating in the Gulf area, is giving excuses of increased passenger traffic during Ramadan. Etihad - PLEASE reach out to me and actively track baggage and respond to us directly so I can securely send you the details of my baggage instead of general comments like "we intend to locate and deliver baggage by the next 24-72 hrs" which seems like a moving target. Its been 8 days I lost mIts been 8 days I lost my bags. I have missed my two trains, 4 meetings and could fullfill my commitment to my client. Etihad is a peice of * . Not a single person whom you can contact or who can take the responsibility of missing bags. They all are really unprofessional people. I have lodge a complaint in consumers with all the details of call logs, my mettings and train cancellation details. They had also sold my tickets from abu dhabi to delhi to someone else who had paid them more than me. My confirmed ticket is given to other. My overall holidays and Eid is ruined just because I took an Etihad ticket. Biggest mistake of my life. I will post my entired experience at every posible place on internet. The trip was so long and unexpected, same thing arrived in DarEsSalaam our baggage hasn't arrived upto date. Since 6th july, they are not replying my emails, they dont care anything.. First & last time to fly with ETIHAD POOR AIRWAYS.

Eric Johansson : We flew fr om Stockholm to Tokyo via Abu Dhabi. When we arrived at Narita airport we got informed that our 2 bags were still in Abu Dhabi and that they would arrive to our apartment here in Tokyo the next day. During this time we have only been able to be in contact with Narita, who says that Abu Dhabi claims to have sent the bags already. Altough they started to claim this on June 30th when we arrived, but not until today one of our bags actually arrived to Narita. So one of our bags is still in Abu Dhabi, according to Narita. This is all very confusing, but the only one who have been in contact with us is Narita. Etihad say that they can't help us. So what should we do? Update We got one of our bags the other day but one is still missing. No one can tell us wh ere it is, which is really frustrating!

Guest : Can I know , why there is only selective replies from Etihad on only few posts here. Is there any particular reason for ignoring the other posts ? The customer care is appalling. I got my baggage after suffering for 5 days I can understand the suffering of others hats off to their dedicated unprofessional customer care representative they don't even answer the phone always they use to say still we are looking to your matter and more over they don't know how to talk this is the first and last time flying with this worst airline they deserve the worst award also

Etihad sux!!! Lost my bag for four days at Abu dhabi from 28th June. i will not fly with Etihad again , they are impossible to contact direct.

my bag was lost at Abu Dhabi on route to bangkok. It took4 days to get it back. etihad are impossible to contact as all tel. no's on the internet websites dont connect.

Hi Etihad airways, I travelled from Manchester to Bangalore via Abu dhabi (Manchester to Bangalore Flight number EY 016) on 7th july. I lost one of my bag. airport agent said my bag was sent in different flight in cargo in Manchester. JUST IMAGIN HOW BAD IS THE SERVICE THAT THEY SEND THE BAG IN SOME OTHER FLIGHT. Its very frustrating.please respond to us. I tried to contact Etihad office but no one is picking. My tag number is EY 287728. my ticket number is 6072129354293
