I have flown from PNQ-AUH-NBO sector on 06 Jan 2016 but did not get one of my checked in bag at NBO after landing at JKIA - Nairobi. I have been informed by your team (+254 716 651 400) that the bag has been arrived at Nairobi on 07 Jan 2016 flight EY 641 and subsequently dispatched through a courier and I should get it on Sat - 09 Jan 2015 at the courier. But unfortunately, the fact is that the courier agency has not received the same till this very moment and local EY personnel are making false claims apart from not accepting the calls at all. Its been a week now and I am in a serious bad situation and local EY team is just not bothered about the hardships and mental trauma I am going through ! Dear If I consider UAE team to be more responsible and professionally mature than local one, can you help me out on priority ? Your most prompt response would highly be appreciated ! Rahul Shetty : Sir/Madam Please help to retrieve our bags. The bags were last scanned by Etihad in Abu Dhabi and hence believe it is still with Etihad. AA has asked us to follow-up with Etihad airways since there's no trace of bag being scanned/received by AA. I have not been able to reach any baggage claim number provided on your website as I reach vm directly. Here's my booking reference for flight from Bangalore-Abu Dhabi-Paris-Jfk/NYC: JTPEUT Bangalore to Paris was Etihad and Paris to NYC was on American Airlines. My flight from CDG/Paris to JFK/NYC yesterday Jan10 -EY3026 or AA121 - was canceled and my bags are missing till now. Hello, My file reference# is DUSAB49013. I was travelling fr om BOm-AUH-DUS on 10th Jan in flight numbers 9W 586 and AB 7461. I was informed by the ahs people in Dusseldorf airport that my baggage will be delivered to my address in Berlin by Tuesday. But I have not received it yet. Moreover, when I track it online, it shows the message "ITEM LOCATED, PENDING CONFIRMATION". I tried to call on the phone number provided on my missing report. However, it says either it is out of business hours or the line is busy. I have tried to call on that number several times through out the day, but I have not been successful in talking to them even once. Guest : The service of Etihad Airwaysis absolutely inappropriate - they should be punished legally for this kind of services. No any custom service at all at any airport and you should call them for the hours spending the millions to find out some information. Traveling on Budiness class on the ticket 6079712568413 they have lost my the one and only suitcase on the flight fr om Abu Dhabi to Rome EY 0440-08. The bad was not simply loaded in Abu Dhabi. After 24 hours I have received a message that the bag was found and will be delivered to the airport of Tivat today in the evening with a flight YM8110 to Tivat (Montenegro) wh ere I should stay for 2 days. The airport has refuse to make any home delivery so I was obliged to travel 2 hours in taxi to pick up my suitcase. When I have arrived to the airport the suitcase has not arrived and they did not load from the connected flight in Belgrade!!!! I have no any warm clothes with me and tomorrow I should go to Moscow!!! You should refund the costs of the ticket and refund all my expenses for the lost language! What a * service in Business class - what are you doing with the suitcases in Economy I am just wondering!!!! We are truly sorry to read about this, please accept our sincere apologies for the stress caused. Would you kindly provide us with your PIR number so we can assist you further? Hello everyone i have lost my 1 main luggage, when i filed PIR the authorities said it will be at your door in couple of days on dec 24 but still they are tracing my bag, its so disappointing where all the luggage is misplacing, some action to be taken. If anyone has found there bag in 10-15 days please let me know so that i can at least have a hope. I had a very positive opinion about etihad even after my friends said very negative about this airlines, Etihad proved me wrong and my friends are happy about their opinion. I could have listened to them.

Hello, Travelled from Orlando to Lagos on jet blue/etihad via JFK/ABu Dhabi and only 2 out of my 6 bags arrived. Can't find the other 4. Been on the tracer system and they are still trying to track my bags. had to go from airport to a meeting - kids don't have change of clothes and I cannot continue to my final destination at home and local flight connection. I am so discouraged. Terrible experience ever ever with travelling. Now no one is answering my calls.

Hello, I travelled from Sydney to Amsterdam via Etihad(code share partners but ticket was booked with etihad) on 2nd Jan 2016 and reached Amsterdam on 3rd Jan 2016. However my bags were initially delayed and later on delivered to my home on 4th January but when I received the bags, my child's pram/stroller was completely broken. The Booking Reference is : EAIUBM and the eticket numbers are 6072127546940 ,6072127546941 ,6072127546942 . The bags in question had the following tags PNR :PNQMEE and 0795 VA 499271 / 0795 VA 499272. The stroller in question is a quinny stroller and it is completely broken which is not something I expected when checking in a baby stroller. I have uploaded the details online under my booking reference EAIUBM but can you please help me expedite this claim process? Regards, JSK

I traveled on January 1st from DFW to AUH to BOM airport with Etihad. My bags are missing and I cannot track the baggage status. I have filled out the PIR, my bag tag numbers are EY830006 and EY830007. Airport authorities told me I would receive my bags within two days. When I call the airport they cannot trace the baggage. Dear Guest, We too are sorry to hear this, when flying with Etihad directly, should this happen you will be provided a PIR similar to this (AUHEY12345) However when flying with a code-share partner you will see the Air Berlin reference code as given (AB469167) As this was your last carrier Air Berlin would need to use this reference number to provide you an update to the status of the bag. Nishar Sirajudeen : I was traveling with Etihad/Air berlin from GOT-TXL, TXL-AUH, AUH - MAA on December, 23rd 2015 Our bags did not make it to the MAA airport. When inquired, the airport representatives asked us to fill forms for missing baggage and ensured that the bags will be sent on the address within 1 day. It has been 6 days now, have not received a call stating the update of the bag. No compensation given, instead when I tried to call they asked me to come to the airport and inquire about the bags. ( Airport from my place is a 10 hour journey :( ) Baggage service is not at all prompt and a great disappointment ! Flight time and service was really good but because of the missing bags will definitely NOT travel with Etihad again. My Backage Tag Number is AB469167 I lost my baggage on 13th December still the status is tracing the baggage, lost complete hope with this airlines.

In this day and age of computers it should take less then 5 minutes to locate delay or lost luggage or bags. Airlines need central phone number that can be reached by anyone any where on this planet earth. Airlines should verify identity of passengers then tell them where the bag is. If airline tickets are code share or two airlines share ticket. Each airline should be able to give you status of beg. We had bag we gave it to other airline. How does airlines handle luggage tags of original airline (which did not issue ticket but is first leg of international journey and created bag tags. Bag tag numbering system is different. Southwest airline puts transfer tag on bags that gets transfer between flights to reduce delay lost baggage. Different color code transfer tag is needed for bag transfer between different airlines and also main ticketing airline gets bag for transfer of the bags for connecting flights. This will improve travel and improve reputation of all airlines. 4 hour lay over in Abu Dhabi out of 8 bags 6 bags got transfer and two missing. If you have complain about etihad airways. Instead of typing message send e mail to socialmedia@etihad.ae with confirmation number or booking code bag tag number they will try to look at the issue. Results I don't know. I am trying to find status of two bags. Etihad/Jet airways is looking .

My wife and her two sisters and nephew flew from New York to Abu Dhabi to Ahemdabad India. Everything was excellent during two flights. After landing at Ahemdabad India my wife's two bags were missing. Everyone's bag came. Our begs were checked in from Austin Texas via jet blue different luggage tag number. Abh Dhabi to Ahemdabad flight is Jet Airways Etihad partner. When both your both bags do not come and no clothes short time vacation it is no fun. They say luggage will come in evening flight. All I read is disaster story. Last year I flew Etihad had no issues. All I want Etihad to do is find two bags put it on plane and send it home. Or let us know we pick it up at airport.

Guest : I flew fr om toronto on 16th December on flight EY7609. My itinerary was toronto to Brussels to Abu dhabi to karachi. When I landed in karachi on 18th friday at 2 30 am one of my baggage did not show up. I filed a report  reference number is KHIEY18037. It's been 2 days and my bag cannot be located. Is there anyway I can find out if my luggage even boarded the plane from Toronto.  All my stuff is in there and I am on vacation with no clothes and shoes. I had presents in there as well. There has to be a way to know wh ere the bag is. Can someone tell if it boarded the plane or if it was transferred It's been 2 days and I am wearing same clothes. I had to buy new glasses as well. This is getting very frustrated.my entire vacation is getting ruined I am in the same situation, this is one of the worst airlines when it comes to handling lost baggage, with the latest technology in hand still they are unable to track the baggage.

Is there anyway I can find out if my luggage even boarded the plane from Toronto.  All my stuff is in there and I am on vacation with no clothes and shoes. I had presents in there as well. There has to be a way to know wh ere the bag is. Can someone tell if it boarded the plane or if it was transferred It's been 2 days and I am wearing same clothes. I had to buy new glasses as well. This is getting very frustrated.my entire vacation is getting ruined

I lost my baggage on Dec 13th @ Chennai airport, Etihad Airways unable to track the baggage and the response is very poor. I was told the same story the baggage will be available next day till today they did not provide any compensation or any apology for the delay. My details: Baggage lost tracking info : MAAEY15229. I am appalled at the service and lies told by Etihad about my missing luggage I travelled on 14th they told me on plane that they would be delivered the next day, the baggage handler said that was untrue, as no flight, it would be flight on 16th for delivery 17th, I am just told by courier after waiting in the whole day that it will be Tommorrow 18th but by a different courier, so no guarantee !!! In the meantime we have no clothes, toiletries everything we are having to buy, I will never use them again ! And not even an apology call from the airline or any offer to help, worst service ever from an airline !

VJ : I was traveling with Etihad from CDG - AUH, AUH - BOM on December, 12th 2015 Our bags did not make it to the BOM airport. When inquired, the airport representatives asked us to fill forms for missing baggage and ensured that the bags will be sent on the address within 2 days. It has been 4 days now, have not received a call stating the update of the bag. No compensation given, instead when I tried to call they asked me to come to the airport and inquire about the bags. ( Airport from my place is a 4 hour journey :( ) Baggage service is not at all prompt and a great disappointment ! Flight time and service was really good but because of the missing bags will definitely NOT travel with Etihad again. Hi! Santosh : I had a very poor experience with Etihad recently. I have the email I sent and the follow up which resulted in nothing - the pain just continues. ---- email sent of Sept 2 ---- Hi, we just came for a vacation in India fr om USA; my first one with my newborn infant and chose Etihad because of word of mouth that it is one of the best airlines. But I am sorry to say that I find that otherwise. Fr om the get go the experience was horrible, inspite of a half empty flight the ticketing representatives at SFO did not provide seats that were together – there were 3 adults and an infant in our party and we were scattered over the plane. After some pleading/request, we got two of us together and the third adult was about 5 rows back. We were told that that’s the closest available seat. However when we boarded the entire row behind the two adult was empty, in fact there were a lot of seats that were empty. I don’t understand the motivation for intentionally making a customer’s journey painful. I am skipping the part wh ere we had to request some curtesy and consideration during checking since we had an infant with us – that should have been obvious. The horror continued when we didn’t get our bags in Mumbai airport – we spent about 2 hours after the journey to file a simple baggage claim report. There is no followup from the folks and I have been calling them daily three times on their request. The worse part was that I was lied to again when a representative told me explicitly that the bags have been located in Abu Dhabi and just need to be shipped to Mumbai. After 3 days of hope, I was told that the bags were never located. Again why lie ? I was given different numbers to call – and after the first response they never pick up. Now there are valuables in the bags but the most important things I value were the baby gadgets, a sterilizer, bottle warmer, baby formula, baby food – that money can not buy here. I am at a loss of words to express the difficulty we are facing due to this. Now I will be leaving Mumbai and travelling to Kolkata via couple of cities and we wont even have the basic needs for the baby that we had planned for. We will be travelling back from Kolkata in another Etihad flight, but I have a feeling that this will be the last of my Etihad flights. Not sure if the culture in this organization rewards lying and being deceitful to the customer, but I am very unhappy about this and will express my opinion through every avenue possible online and offline ( to friends and different mailing list I possibly can, wh ere I saw positive reviews). I am including the baggage tag details and complain file information, if you can help. I havent heard back from them in 2 months on my first baggage claim. ======================= In conclusion, I would recommend no one to fly Etihad as things can go wrong and if they do they dont act responsibly like you would expect them to. Don't pass the buck, resolve the issue. The airline cancelled the flight, not Skiddoo and hence the airline is liable. All passengers of Singapore Airlines flight who were also stranded in Chennai on the same day for the same reason were put on a bus chartered by that airline, taken to Bangalore, put up in Hilton Hotel and put on another Singapore Airline flight from Bangalore to their destination on 4th December itself. Jet Airways, your codeshare partner in India is unconditionally refunding the fares of the cancelled flights to its passengers. It is a shame that Etihad tries to wriggle out of its responsibility. Please authorise the travel agent to refund my fare. Otherwise, we aggrieved passengers may be forced to approach appropriate fora for redressal of our grievances.

Please deal with my request in the proper fashion and authorise the travel agent to refund my fare. Singapore Airlines, ferried all passengers booked on its flight on that day to Bangalore in a bus chartered by the airline, put them up in Hilton Hotel and put them an another flight from Bangalore to their destination. Jet Airways , your code share partner is refunding the fare to all its passengers stranded in Chennai on account of cancellation of its flights. It is a shame that an established airline like Etihad should respond like this. MAK : hi every one i was travelling in December 2014 from Pakistan to USA. At dubai Air port during checking of hand carries, officer took my Lap top and asked me that you will get from Etihad station on Chicago Airport. When i reached Chicago Air Port and i contact with the officer of Etihad Air ways , she replied we don't have any record of your laptop and she also give me one contact number XXXXX with name XXXXX in order to update about laptop. After 2-3 days i contact with this guy but he also refused that he don't have any intimation of Lap top from Etihad Airways or Dubai Security. I cal every day to that Guy but no response then i sent email to Etihad and Dubai Air port and i got response that they have my Lap top and they are sending to Shicago but till now after passing 12 Months i didn't receive my Lap Top and now Etihad Air ways is not replying on my emails. Can any body tell me what i should do ? i am a Business Man and my Business destroy due to my Lap top. Please tell me what should i do and how i can sue on Etihad Air ways? I was travelling from Dhaka to JFK. I had transit at AUH and I lost my mother's Philips Respironics CPAP at gate # 61 prior to USA pre clearance point. upon return to New York, I called AUH airport to check if they had found the machine and the security office advise they found the machine and gave it Etihad Airlines on November 19th. I emailed Etihad airlines on November 19th and they advised me that they had the machine and waiting for dispatching it to New York to me. It's been a week since I had heard from them. I still haven't received the machine or neither any response from the airlines. I tried to contact the New York office, but they don't return my calls either.

If I will book a roundtrip from Amsterdam to Dubai . Sep 13 2016 - 06 Oct 2016 I have seen that there’s a coach option from Abu Dhabi airport to Dubai and from Dubai to Aby Dhabi airport. Do I have to check inn at DUBAI or can I go directly by taxi to Abu Dhabi airport and check in there. Or is it a no show ? Do I lose my ticket if I take a taxi.

Hi, It has been a very bad experience receiving baggage, as it usually is very late. although i fly business class frequently (5 times a year) to Islamabad and back from Abu Dhabi. but i literally have to wait more than 30 mins to receive my baggage. you need to have a better service in sending the luggage which is tagged as priority. regards,
