Hi Mrs Thai, could you please advise if you have received your luggage in the end? How can we help you? *Sky Mrs Thai : Since today I'm always satisfied with ethihad services but on the AUH airport it was the first time that I feel unkomfortable: My friends forgot to pick up my hand luggage and I'm tell the guy at the airport immediatly that the luggage is in the plane. They told me to go to the travel service for help but at the counter they only give me a email address and told me to go. They didn't asked me about my name or anything else to make me feel better. For me the service was very disappointing because I want to tell them I could pick it up, when I'm back in three weeks. I know it was not their fault with the trolley but I wish they give me a better feeling to solve my problem.

I flew from Sydney to NY with Etihad on 1 February. Upon arrival found that one of the suitcases arrived damaged. Etihad representative at JFK filled out a claim form and I received a confirmation email with the claim number. The claim form says that I will be contacted by Etihad within 48 hours. So far heard noting back (I thought erroneously that being an Etihad gold FF would encourage a reply from them). Left messages on their phone at JFK that is never answered and sent follow up email but no reaction or acknowledgement. Very disappointing!!! Has anyone managed to get some action out of Etihad? Hi Mauricio, Could you please advise if you have received your luggage? *Sky Mauricio Luciano : Hello: On 27th january I took flight EY407 from BKK to AUH, then I took flight EY191 from AUH to GRU. This flight had a delay of over 16 hours, so Etihad reprogrammed the final flight from GRU to AEP with flight AR1241 (the original one was flight G37684). All this itinerary was in the same reservation, reference: NMSTSY. When we arrived in Buenos Aires our three baggages didn't arrive (tags number EY933645/46/47). Inmediately we made the report at the airport and we get PIR AEPAR55290. Since the arrival date on Saturday 27th in Buenos Aires, Aerolineas Argentinas didn't receive any answer from Etihad about the misshandled baggages. Unfortunately we had very important and necessary medicines on these luggages. Aerolineas Argentinas informed us that Etihad and GOL Airlines staff don't have our luggage in Sao Paulo. I beg Etihad Airlines to check with all the information that we provide on this mail to find out were the luggages are and give an answer in the PIR to Aerolineas Argentinas. It was my first time tracelking with Etihad Airways and I have had a horrible experience. The baggage claim is pathetic. I cant believe that they mishandled my baggage and I have no idea where it is. I have had another incidence like this with a different airline but they were able to tell me right away at the airport that my baggage could not reach the final destination. However, no one from Etihad ground support at the final airport could help me track it. I dont want to travel with them again, nor do i recommend anyone to.

This is to bring to your kind notice that I missed my cabin bag in my flight from New Delhi to Munich via Abu Dhabi (FLIGHT NO. EY 211 and EY 3) on 17th January. In the flight EY 211 at New Delhi, the air hostess named Prachi Bhosale took my cabin bag from me inside the flight because flight was too full to accommodate my cabin bag. She took it from me saying it is being sent to the cargo and I will get the cabin bag along with my check-in bag in Munich. Although, I told her that Abu Dhabi is not my final destination, so how would you know that this bag belongs to me and should be transferred to Munich. Moreover, I was worried because she didn't ask for my boarding pass and my cabin bag didn't have any other information except the security check tag (INTL NO. 415). She didn't even provide any baggage tag to track my bag. At the time of leaving the flight at Abu Dhabi, I again asked the main air hostess and Prachi about my cabin bag and they iterated the same thing mentioning I will get it in Munich. But unfortunately, when I reached Munich, I didn't receive my cabin bag. I registered the complaint at Baggage Tracing Desk too upon arrival at Munich airport. It has been more than 2 weeks now and I am unable to get any updates about my cabin bag. It had valuable items in it. I don't know how slow is Etihad baggage teams are! Please look into my matter urgently.

Hi there, have you been in touch with us on one of our Social media channels (Facebook, Twitter)about this? *Sky Guest : Jilan : I travelled today fr om Mumbai to Nairobi via Abu Dhabi- on getting on the plane in Mumbai as there was no room for cabin luggage I was asked to check in my hand luggage before getting into the plane. My bag has been lost and they don't know wh ere it is - as it was not checked in properly there is no tag and it has important things in it for my work. Please could you ask a member of staff in Abu Dhabi or somewhere to please look for it as the contents are extremely important and I need it back. Thank you Same incident happened with me in the flight from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi EY 211 on 17 January, 2017. I have not got any update about my lost cabin bag and they can not trace it since I was not given any bag tag receipt. I don't know why Etihad staff is doing this or stealing the bags?

hi Guest : I had lost my cabin bag since 3 months and still so far there was no updates.I travelled on 7th Feb from Abudhabi to Chicago and cabin bag was taken by crew member(air hostess) and handovered to ground staff in Abudhabi airport and promised me that, this bag would collect at Chicago airport.But bag didn't came and reported the missing bag to Baggage officer at Chicago Ohare airport.Then taken the complaint and given the file reference number as (ORDEY13352).After 2 months back they came to know that,they are unable to trace the bag becuase of this is cabin bag and doe's not have tag.I had lost all important docs and cloths.This is one of the bad experience with etihad airways.Please take neccessary precautions while travelling this etihad airline. So I request to your good self kindly find attached herewith my all Four Tickets with Boarding Pass and Damaged Bag and Weight Tag for your ready reference and file my complain in this regards and revert me ASAP. I am socked after getting this type of Services by Airline Officer at Mumbai who was treating Eithad Guest Member who is Frequently Flying in this Airline like he was Beggar due to such type of services Reputed Brand Name of the Eithad is spoil out. With in a week Complain is not short out then I will be not Book my Return Journey in your Airline as well as I will be never Refer any of my Family as well as my Friend to your Airlines ever. I am Neelavathy Ramu, on Jan 18th i travelled from Chennai to Washington Dulles. Abu Dhabi was my transit. From Chennai i travelled in EY0269 flight and landed in Abu Dhabi, as soon as i arrived there was security check. As part of this i placed my things for security check. As i was in hurry i forgot to take my wrist watch (Fossil-Rosegold colored and chain model, its worth was $115) from the tray , which was placed for security check. I informed the same to one of the Etihad employer, As i was about to fly and i was not having enough time to come back and collect my item. The employer suggested me to mail to the baggage team. After arriving in USA i mailed to baggageclaims@etihad.ae, they suggested me to contact AUH airport police if they have any record for this item. And provided me the contact number 00971 2 505 3015 / 00971 2 5052703. When i called the AUH airport police, they told me they have lot of watches . So i should send valid proof i.e photo of the watch through the Etihad team. Once the proof is given to the police they will provide us the refference number. I mailed the entire story to auhbaggageservices@etihad.ae And baggageclaims@etihad.ae with the photo of my watch as attachment, it has been 1 week but till today no one responded to my mail, Daily iam mailing them for the status. I have registered the claim with reference number JFKEY14604. The etihad services said the bag has loaded at abu dhabi but I did not get the bag at JFK. I tried calling JFK baggage services several times but nobody picked up. Please help me out with this, as the bag has all the original valuable documents in it which I require urgently. Hello...please let me know of any update as soon as possible. This is the 1st time I had traveled through Etihad and the experience was so bad that i will never fly with this airline Etihad.

Thank you *Sky Guest : We travelled on Etihad flight from London Heathrow to Cochin, India and ended up loosing valuables stolen from our checked in luggage. I know what Eithad would say that you should not carry it in the checked in luggage, the dispute is not here. The dispute is that, Etihad not willing to register the complaint and give me a Reference number so I can pursue it with my travel insurance. Its been 3 long months, and I have written to the Etihad Security office in Cochin airport, their India head, Regional head but such callous response (rather No response) you can only expect from irresponsible leadership who allow such a culture. Because of them not giving me a Complaint reference my claim is stuck in no mans land, the Insurance company wont process it any further untill this happens, and Etihad wont even bother to respond to any of my phone calls emails or postal correspondence. Good luck to anyone travelling by this callous airline company, when things go wrong they will happily turn their backs onto you. Good luck traveller.

Thank you *Sky Guest : We travelled on Etihad flight from London Heathrow to Cochin, India and ended up loosing valuables stolen from our checked in luggage. I know what Eithad would say that you should not carry it in the checked in luggage, the dispute is not here. The dispute is that, Etihad not willing to register the complaint and give me a Reference number so I can pursue it with my travel insurance. Its been 3 long months, and I have written to the Etihad Security office in Cochin airport, their India head, Regional head but such callous response (rather No response) you can only expect from irresponsible leadership who allow such a culture. Because of them not giving me a Complaint reference my claim is stuck in no mans land, the Insurance company wont process it any further untill this happens, and Etihad wont even bother to respond to any of my phone calls emails or postal correspondence. Good luck to anyone travelling by this callous airline company, when things go wrong they will happily turn their backs onto you. Good luck traveller.

Hello etihad its has been 46 days gone still i am begging For my compensation amount they told me to send the Bill and all i send them mumbai and kuwait but they are still sleeping when i call in your mumbai office operator said sir dont Call send us mail when i send mail no reply whats going on BOMEY24184 file no.

Debaleena : Hi...I have flew from India to JFK airport via Abu Dhabi on 16th January, 2017. I lost one of my bags. I have registered the claim with reference number JFKEY14604. The etihad services said the bag has loaded at abu dhabi but I did not get the bag at JFK. I tried calling JFK baggage services several times but nobody picked up. Please help me out with this, as the bag has all the original valuable documents in it which I require urgently. Hello...please let me know of any update as soon as possible. This is the 1st time I had traveled through Etihad and the experience was so bad that i will never fly with this airline Etihad.

Respected Sir, I would like to bring to your notice my case of lost baggage. I was travelling from Delhi to ljubljana via Abu Dhabi and Munich. However, my luggage could not reach the destination. Kindly look into the matter because that is the sole baggage i am carrying. Guest : too bad service form Etihad on lost baggage, and why they loose baggage anyway??? No wonder there are so many complaints against Etihad. Shameful airlines. !

Not surprising to see so many complaints on this page. Etichad sucks, hang your head in shame, you are a disgrace to UAE.
