We are sorry *Sky Ashwin Reddy Nalla : Dear Etihad, I was on the flight EY 275 from Hyderabad to Abu Dhabi on 21st December early morning 4:15. I had a one plus three phone in see thru sleeve. while i was sleeping i put the phone in the pouch under the tray table on seat 19H. As soon as i got on to the bus to go to the terminal at Abu Dhabi i remembered i left my phone on the plane and asked the bus driver to help me get it back. instead the bus driver asked me to see the transfer desk about it. I did so and they said there is no going back and i should send an email to you guys which is very very bad because it wasnt even 10 minutes and i think it was ridiculous to not let me get my stuff back when i still had the time and opportunity. And now i am worried for the phone because i have all my pictures in the phone which i can probably never recreate. This was my first vacation with my wife ( it was her first time in india) and i would never be able to get the pictures back please help me find it. Hi, I travelled fr om Sydney to Milan on the 24th of december, and the two bags i checked in did't get loaded on the plane i was on. After one day in Milan i was able to retrieve one of the bags, which was sent to Milan on the 26th, but still don't have my other bag with all my clothes and personal belongings. It has now been 5 days and no one is able to tell me when the tagged will arrive, or wh ere it is for that matter. It seems really difficult to actually speak to someone about this and find out what happened, everything has to be done online and i want answers. I have been on holiday with no clothes. Am i entitled to any compensation?

Attached is my claim with photographic proof. Please let me know if there is any more information you need. Upon landing on my flight from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok Airport on November 12th (Etihad Airways EY408 ), I noticed that the lock I had on my luggage had been opened and tampered with. (the red TSA key hole has been popped open). I opened my bag and saw my entire camera case (Gopro 4 silver with extra 2 extra sd cards and flex mount) and my sunglasses ( maui jim manu sunglasses) were stolen from my checked luggage. I tried to tell baggage claims in Bangkok but they told me i had to call Etihad, I called Etihad and they told me to call Bangkok again, I spent days using costly international minutes calling around the world until someone told me to email baggageclaims@Etihad.ae and they have been useless, taking weeks to respond and ignoring my emails. I feel helpless. After 2 and a half weeks of the airline giving my the run around, ignoring my claims and trying to sweep this under the table, they finally started to respond after I posted what happen on social media. They tried to deny accountability saying they are not responsible for personal items or valuables in a checked bag. I even have photographic proof that i had the items with me in abu dhabi which i will attatch as well . Valuables are jewelry, wallet, money, cell phones, passport, personal camera, not a pocket action camera or sunglasses. there's is no sign at the airport or their website that says do not put your go pro or sunglasses in your checked bag because our employee might steal it. They did not specify, and aside from that my go pro was in a secure case and they took the entire case. These are also items that you have no need for on an airplane, and technically every single item in my luggage is a personal item so they should update there contract on the website if they want to pull this nonsense I would like my items back, and if that's not possible then i want them replaced or a check for the total amount, i have already sent Etihad receipt for everything like they had asked and there still playing games. it seems like they are covering up corrupting ring at their company

Muneeb : I had the unfortunate experience of travelling with you on 16 DEC 2017 fr om Munich, Germany to Lahore, Pakistan via Abu Dhabi. After waiting 5 hours at Abu Dhabi airport, I was told that I have been off loaded fr om the plane to Lahore as it was overbooked. This happened even though I was issued a boarding pass with a confirmed seat for this flight, which I still have as proof. Your staff was extremely rude and not helpful in the least. They told me to board the next flight to Islamabad (not Lahore) and I would be escorted to a flight for Lahore by a representative of yours. This was a huge lie as I found nobody at Islamabad airport and was told that there is no flight to Lahore for the next 3 days. I had to arrange my travel to Lahore on my own and it is not the airline's responsibility. On top of all of this, my luggage was lost and I have no idea wh ere it is. I had to take a taxi from Islamabad costing me around 100 Euro and 5 hours. This was extremely torturous and I should talk to a lawyer once I'm back in Germany on the basis of physical and emotional harassment unless I'm duly compensated for my troubles. Wh ere is my luggage and how do I get it back? I wasn't issued any PIR number at the airport. Nick kemp : I arrived in Brisbane to find out that I had no luggage to collect and made my claim straight away looked like it my be a mistake by someone but like yourself I have had no contact from etihad or the airport not even updating me saying that it made the trip from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi but not Brisbane or it made it all the way there. No one seems to care very much, to them it happens all the time. Airport phone line only directs you to the etihad website and nothing much changes on that. Not just clothes inside there were Xmas presents as well not cheap. To be honest more than a little p****d of with the lack of interest and service, Flights Ey012 and Ey484 Hi Nick. On arrival at Casablanca I could not get my bag with id EY132633. I arrived in Brisbane to find out that I had no luggage to collect and made my claim straight away looked like it my be a mistake by someone but like yourself I have had no contact from etihad or the airport not even updating me saying that it made the trip from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi but not Brisbane or it made it all the way there. No one seems to care very much, to them it happens all the time. Airport phone line only directs you to the etihad website and nothing much changes on that. Not just clothes inside there were Xmas presents as well not cheap. To be honest more than a little p****d of with the lack of interest and service, Flights Ey012 and Ey484

Hi Etihad, I reported a lost and found for my bag on your lost and found website. The flight I was on was EY362 and the seat number was 16E. The date of my flight was on 7 December from Perth with transit at Abu Dhabi to Bangluru. I made the lost and found claim immediately but I have not received a response from Etihad at all. Hi Etihad, I reported a lost and found for my iPhone 6 Plus (rose gold) on your lost and found website. The flight I was on was EY487 and the seat number was 22K. The date of my flight was on 3 December from Perth with transit at Abu Dhabi for an hour. I made the lost and found claim immediately but I have not received a response from Etihad at all. Hello@Etihad Airways, I travelled first time with Etihad Airways and now I am facing horrible consequences for this journey. I lost my baggage on 03.12.2016 on Delhi Airport and I have seen some other passengers did not receive their baggage too on same day. My file reference number is DELEY25455. Now I am calling each and every day to Etihad Airways customer care number who are supposed to provide answer for mishandled baggage. I am burning out INR 50 to 60 each and every day to speak with them but sometimes you have to wait for 20 to 25 mins to get their valuable answer. I am really frustated now and don't have any words left for Etihad Airways and ofcourse I will never fly with this airlines except my return journey to Hamburg. I will definitely share my experience with friends and colleauges so that they should not face the same problem like me.

Missing baggage Reference number: CCUEY11807 I reached my final destination Kolkata (CCU) on 28 November. I didn't receive my luggage. I left airport with a verbal assurance from Etihad officer, I will receive the luggage in very next day. It's a pity that I am yet to receive the same. Yesterday, I got phone call from Etihad officer, and confirms, my luggage is on the way to Kolkata, and it’s just matter of hours to dispatch the bag. But again it’s a promise from Etihad, which remained unfulfilled. I myself checked world tracer website, and found, my luggage supposed to arrive CCU this morning. When I called Etihad Baggage reclaim office, they just said, above mentioned bag actually not arrived. Moreover he said, I have to wait more to get my luggage back. I was away from home for three months. I had my flight from Amsterdam to Kolkata. I think, it is understandable in international flight journey how important and essential stuffs we keep in checked in luggage. And if it is not received in time what amount of harassment and mental pressure one have to undergo facing such problems. I had fair amount of international flight experience with various operators. I really hate to say this, but it's true, I never expect the same from a reputed carrier like Etihad Airlines.

EY 228 departure from Abu Dhabi at 02:55 AM with my 3 registered bag and 2 hand bag as it was approved by airlines to travel with hand bag- on the final checked in Etihad representative has asked me to put that 2 hand bag in lower compartment because available space was not enough in aircraft, and they has tag with registered mark ( bag tagged copy attached) when i reached Delhi airport at 08:00 AM (India time on 28th Oct-16) my one of bag lock was open and i found all gold jewellery items was stolen from the bag and they leave empty boxes (all photos is available with Etihad representative at Delhi airport)- i contact with Etihad airways representative on the airport and he process to make legal complaint about this, and we have inform airport authority and Delhi local police they has check all my baggage and could; t find those missing things and ask me to file FIR on the airport which was done and case reference no is 0412/2016 complaint was also send to Etihad office in Abu Dhabi. now 2 days passed still now i didn’t get any confirmation from the airlines. its very shameful that airlines or airport staff doing such things with guest baggages please look into the above matter and advise me if any other documents required for verification - Etihad representative report and bag tag photo attached for your easy ref. hope airline will take immediate action to find the thief and to do the legal process-

Etihad Airways : Hi Gurjit, Bag number is 0607AYAEY207133 We have been chasing this baggage for a week now. This is not very good customer service. Thanks for coming to us and share this feedback. Please send us the bag tag number, we will contact our team for an update, they will need initially 48 hours to locate the baggage and will contact you with an update accordingly *Gill Gurjit : My mum travelled from London Heathrow via Abu Dhabi to New Delhi on Tuesday 16th Nov. Her luggage has been lost and wasn't given a PIR number. Going back to New Delhi airport isn't really an option as it takes 7hrs to get there. Please advise us of the next steps to take.

From Dep date To Arr Date EY 7604 BOM 16/04/2016 05:15 AUH 16/04/2016 07:00 EY 604 AUH 16/04/2016 09:50 JNB 16/04/2016 16:30 SA 146 JNB 16/04/2016 20:15 MPM 16/04/2016 21:15 TM 100 MPM 17/04/2016 07:00 BEW 17/04/2016 08:10 At Mumbai airport I had checked in 2 check in baggage but on reaching Maputo, Mozambique I got only 1 bag at the baggage counter upon enquiring with authority at Maputo they said your another bag will come at Beira since baggage has been checked in till Beira, Mozambique. But on reaching Beira I did not receive my another bag. Same time I made a PIR (PIR No. BEWTM12034) At Beira airport.
