sanjay Tigaonkar : we travelled from Abudhabi to mumbai by flight no EY 206 on 31 st july . we landed in Mumbai Airport at 3AM. while taking our baggage we got confused between two same kind of bags and we took some one else's baggage. without knowing the fact that the baggage wasnt our and we travaed from domastic airport of to nagpur in Jet air ways. while taking our baggage at Nagpur we came to know that the baggage wasn't our because of the weight and our name tag. we deposited the bag at Jetairways Nagpur. there was tag"VARSHA TIGAONKAR" . the tag no was:- 055AZ407953 . If you do receve any assistance than you are lucky. Because for the last 3 weeks I haven't gotten any reply for where my bag is with important medicine in it. It has been more than 3 weeks since my bag has been missing with MEDICINE IN IT. And not one follow up fr om anyone. Been given the same copy and pasted response and no one has a clue wh ere my bag is. I guess this airline doesn't care about someone lives or dies. They are oblivious. To those reading this save your energy they are not really going to help. I called so many numbers sooo many times. Emailed too. Than of course with this group that takes care of social media given the same response over and over for 3 weeks. And not one follow up. I am the one who is asking for updates. I am the one who keeps calling that also international calls because there is no toll free number in Tehran.

While Travelling JED-AUH-CCU, I lost one baby stroller. I registered the missing baggage complaint at Kolkata Airport and they promised to trace the missing baggage and to be delivered to my temporary address in India. I have been calling Kolkata airport Etihad baggages services but the line was busy 24 hrs. It seems that the baggage services dept doesn't was to answer the passengers call. We travelled on a short leisure trip and really faced inconvenience without the baby stroller. The copy of the PIR provided to me does mention the PIR number. My PNR no is NPIWUB and the missing baggage tag no is EY219491. I've already returned back to my origin city on 10th July and I'm yet to get any communication on my complaint. This is very pathetic experience with Etihad which claims to be the best airline. This is so frustrating. Please update me on missing baggage on my email id FAROOQUERAZA@HOTMAIL.COM Is there any update on my missing luggage. Is there any cutoff time to get response from your baggage service dept. I opened a PIR (BNEVA38365) due to 31 hours baggage delay @ Brisbane. Then I updated the same PIR (online) because I found the locker and the external shell broken. No way to repair or fix it. I also tried several times to upload the claim form (resources.etihadairways.com/etihadairway... through your website but It was impossible due to "Internal Server Errors". For this reason, at the end, I sent all the documentation to baggageclaims@etihad.ae. At the same time I chatted with your operators over facebook. Could you kindly confirm that you are properly managing my request ? I'll re-submit this post until I'll receive an answer. Regards, Flora F.

I travelled with Etihad flt no. EY 206 from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and landed on 4th June 16 in business class. On receipt of my checked in Bags I notices one of the bags was damaged in transit. I filed a report with Etihad staff at Mumbai International airport and later on sent photos of damaged bag to their given e mail ID. Phoned them many times but their is no response. I really do not know what else to do but this is very poor on part of Etihad.

Hi, I was travelling to Visakhapatnam, India fr om Dar es salaam, Tanzania by Etihad Airways on 21st July, 2016. I have booked two baggage and it should be in Visakhapatnam by 22nd July, when I reach here. My flight was from Dar es salaam to Abu Dhabi to Mumbai to Visakhapatnam but due to late connectivity, I travelled from Dar es salaam to Abu Dhabi to Delhi to Visakhapatnam and I am afraid when there is no booked baggage found in Delhi airport. When i contacted Etihad Airways baggage helpdesk and lodged a written complaint, i was informed that my baggage are missing and the same will be available within 12-24 hours in Visakhapatnam. I started calling their Delhi office and they informed me that baggage have arrived in Visakhapatnam and should be collected from airport, but nothing was there to collect on 23rd and 24th July. Again i contacted their Delhi and Mumbai office, but till now there is no proper response on the wh ere about of the baggage from both office. In the afternoon, Delhi people started saying that your baggage are in Mumbai airport and sending to Visakhapatnam and Mumbai office saying that baggage are in Delhi, they are arranging to send me. No on 26th July Mumbai office says the baggage are in Mysore airport, how it is possible. It is highest level of frustration, since all my belongings are in both suitcases and i reached home with empty hands. Please assist on the matter urgently. Thanking you, Venkata Narayana Giduthuri

I was travelled to INDIA from BAHRAIN this month in Etihad airways. your airlines made my trip worst & miserable. When i reached at kolkata airport your airlines didnt able to deliver my baggage.They simply told me that it will reach next day by another flight. For collection my baggae i have to come to day airport aftr 2 days from my hometown. When i received my baggage that was damaged & my NEW TV also got damaged by you airlines. When i asked to the Etihad airlines there behaviour was harsh unacceptable. i am a frequent flyer but this time it hurts me alot which i nvr forget & choose your arlines anymore...Neither i will suggest anyboday to choose your flight. I opened a PIR (BNEVA38365) due to 31 hours baggage delay @ Brisbane. Then I updated the same PIR (online) because I found the locker and the external shell broken. No way to repair or fix it. I also tried several times to upload the claim form (resources.etihadairways.com/etihadairway... through your website but It was impossible due to "Internal Server Errors". For this reason, at the end, I sent all the documentation to baggageclaims@etihad.ae. At the same time I chatted with your operators over facebook. Flew from London to Dhaka via Dublin then Abu Dhabi, arrived in Dhaka to find both luggage lost or not arrived, 3 days now still no news, Etihad are good at reassuring but it just goes cold after this, just feel like no one gives a damm, can't blame Dhaka as the have not received the luggage. Flew first time, gives me no confidence to go back!!

Ira Dewan : It's been harrowing for us as due to changes in our flights, we flew out of Abu dhabi via jet airways instead of etihaad (flt EY 224/19.07). Guest : I had the misfortune of travelling on this terrible airline on 18th July fr om JFK to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi on flight number EY 102 and EY 204 respectively. The airline has misplaced one of my two bags. On filing a complaint at Mumbai airport, I was told that the bag was on the next flight to Mumbai and would be returned to me that very night and I would be called and updated regularly regarding the status of my lost bag. Not only was I not called and informed anything, when I tried calling the number provided to me, I was put on hold for more than an hour and finally no one took my call. I have spent all day trying different numbers to get in touch with Etihad until finally I called the booking office who informed me that they have no idea where my bag is. This kind of customer service is ridiculous and has caused me immense inconvenience. Not only are all my personal belongings in that bag, including a suit for a very important interview- which I have to buy a new one for but all the gifts that I have bought for my family are all misplaced. I had to come home after an entire year empty handed with nothing to give to my loved ones because of Etihad's carelessness. The least that Etihad can do is call and update me or at least answer my call when I want to find out where my bag is an give me a better answer than 'we have no idea wh ere your bag is'. I'm so sorely disappointed by this service and hope that my bag comes soon and with all its contents intact. I have already filed a property irregularity report and my baggage claim number is 4607EY220062. Hello, we are sorry, that Mumbai is not getting back to you for updates. While Travelling JED-AUH-CCU, I lost one baby stroller. I registered the missing baggage complaint at Kolkata Airport and they promised to trace the missing baggage and to be delivered to my temporary address in India. I have been calling Kolkata airport Etihad baggages services but the line was busy 24 hrs. It seems that the baggage services dept doesn't was to answer the passengers call. We travelled on a short leisure trip and really faced inconvenience without the baby stroller. The copy of the PIR provided to me does mention the PIR number. My PNR no is NPIWUB and the missing baggage tag no is EY219491. I've already returned back to my origin city on 10th July and I'm yet to get any communication on my complaint. This is very pathetic experience with Etihad which claims to be the best airline. This is so frustrating.
