If Allegiant shuts down from mid Aug until end of Sept? Then why don't they inform customers of this on their web sites? Many of us have been sitting on hold for hours trying to make changes. It would have been so easy to send out emails like their constant marketing emails. We have liked the non-stop flight plans they have, but I'm starting to wonder now who all these so called customer service agents are who work 24 hours a day-this is so dumb and so easy to correct!

I've had the exact same experience except I can't get through to them by phone either, even after waiting almost 2 hours on hold. I've tried to buy tickets every day for over a week now and I either get the error code or it just spins. I have no idea how they are staying in business. Very idiotic.

Each time, after entering all information including payment it circles and circles and tells me to renter the payment. I have done that but it keeps doing the same. Any ideas? It even put charges on my credit card which made me have to cancel those. Have you figured out what the issue was? Im running across the same problem and have not found a solution yet. have been trying to check in for a flight but app and online keep saying "oops thats weird something went wrong." I have tried different phones, computers,web browsers, cleared cache,and of course was on hold an hour to talk to customer service when I gave up!!

I have the flex trip and the app and website are not letting me update my * flight! What is going on. I will be calling customer service after my busy day. Thats what the app should be for, so I dont have to call and get someone to help.

I am trying to book a flight for an employee. When asked about CC details it won't allow me to enter my name (name on card), it wants me to add the passenger's name. Very frustrating!

I tried to book a flight yesterday and had problems completing purchase. Kept receiving a message to input card details again as there was a problem. I have subsequently been charged four times on my card with no acknowledgment of a booking.

Apparently Allegiant Air had a website upgrade (which is a downgrade!) Been trying to book a flight from multiple devices, different times of the day, cleared history and cookies, tried to use different email confirmation address, and NOTHING works to allow me to go "purchase" the flight chosen! On hold for an hour, no one answers! Will go to the airport to try to book it today. Time to get this technology working Allegiant Air! Long time customer, that is quite frustrated along with so many others!!!

Well its Sept 6th and Allegiant still does not have their website fixed so I can buy tickets! I have been trying for 5 days and spent 2 hours on the phone with an agent who had the same problem. - I cant purchase in the app, the website, or over the phone! Absolutely ridiculous and the agent tried 3 different browsers to try and secure our tickets!

Apparently they updated their app and since then can't get things to work like they normally did. I have been trying for 5 days to change a prebooked flight. Continue to get an error message. So far total I have been on hold with their customer service center for 5+ hours, nothing. Tried online chat - unavailable for the last 5 days. What is going on!! Ridiculous....

Husband and I are trying to check in to flight on return flight from GRR to SFB. Are entirely unable to check in on the app. Saw they recently updated their app. We uninstalled it. Reinstalled it. That didnt work. We turned off our phones then turned them back on. That didnt work. We downloaded chrome and tried to get it through chrome. That didnt work. We tried to check in on our laptop knowing wed be charged extra fees. That didnt work. NOTHING WORKED. We have now been on hold with their customer service for 30 minutes. We have 2 small children and are dreading the headache of having to go through their desk at the airport just because they cant get their app to work. This is highly frustrating and inefficient. Never had an issue before having flown Allegiant for 2+ years. Now considering dropping as a customer. At least we know that based on the below we are not the only people upset about this.

I am totally frustrated with Allegiant Airlines. When calling never get to speak with anyone even waiting on hold for an hour and a half two times. Used their chat and asked for an agent and get the message all agents are busy. They notified us of a time change for our reservation which necessitates a change of our reservation to another date and time. Their website will not allow me to change even though I followed the instructions. What now? How can I make the changes without having to cancel?

I was on vacation when they upgraded their system. *I was on vacation * NOT checking my emails. I had no idea of what was happening at all. We arrive at airport still unable to view boarding passes after trying to view them on the app and the website. Security directs us to Allegiant counter who eventually prints off boarding passes for a (previous) trip we took to Nashville. Redirected by security to Allegiant desk because clearly this is not our destination, we were heading to GR, MI. (And while it seems so ridiculous we didn't know this mistake right away, we were in a time crunch and just took the boarding passes and ran to security). We get the correct boarding passes but too little too late and missed the flight. Our flight was scheduled out of Boston 8/24, next available flight through Allegiant was not until 8/27. We rented a car in Massachusetts and drove home. Allegiant will not accommodate us in any way shape or form for this situation. Any one else experience this?

Is there an issue with the website? I'm trying to change my ticket and my trip isn't even showing up! No place to add my Itinery number. When you call it says to do it online but you can't. No one to chat with either, it says to call and then you're on hold forever.........

Heathers 4/11/23 reply was excellent, it was the only thing that worked for me. Follow it step by step and you can pay for your flight: From the suggestions here: - Closed all browsers - brought up Chrome - Cleared cookies and browsing history - Booked a flight on Allegiant - Did not accept the Cookies popup - Used different confirmation email - Did NOT log into Allegiant - Entered in all Credit Card Info Once the transaction went through, I then logged in using my account, then in the Trips section, added the new purchase by entering in my confirmation number Done!!!

After years of being able to easily connect with Allegiantair.com on my laptop, I now get a message telling me they are checking to see it I am on a secure line. After constant buffering, I close the window. This is the only website I use that presents this problem. I have no problem connecting with my phone. Who's the idiot who decided to make this change?

When I called their customer service they acknowledged a problem but I see no notice warning customers. That is not good business practice. This is happening to me today. How do I get around this to book a flight?

Unable to book round trip tickets from Myrtle Beach to Syr 9/18 to 9/28. Tried computer, ipad and iPhone using app and allegaint.com. Error message- something went wrong, try again. Tried for days several times.

I have also tried to puchase a ticket and did not purchase anything else or select a seat. Every time I select "Purchase My Trip" it flashes to the current page as if I need to finish something but everything is complete.

Ive been trying to book for 3 days. Tried multiple devices, credit cards. Even did the live chat with an agent who recommended using Chrome and deleting all my cookies/cashe..of course did that multiple times. Even created a new traveler , deleted the app and reinstalledall of it. Error says Oops something really weird just happened. What the heck does that mean?! Hello Delta Airlines. More money but omg never issues of this magnitude! If they cant fix a website.how are they maintaining their aircraft.

Ive been trying to book a flight online and it wont go through. Tried on laptop, ipad, phone and same issue. I wanted to book a fight that includes a checked bag, and carry oo. No need for hotel or rental cars. Frustrating process and dont want to have to try and call them. Any suggestions. Seems based on other comments, im not the only one having this issue.
