Dear Malindo Air, I am writing in complaining about your staff and manager from customer service department of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for booking FJWPII. I made this booking for my sister from HCMC to KL but I would like to make a change date flight. There is no option to make any changes in website, then I call customer service at 0378415388 around 5pm on 06 Jan 2017. One of customer service helped me to change flight date but need to make payment RM200. I am ok with fee then she transferred me to payment dept. and let me hold line over 15 mins then hang up. I called back at 5.30pm, Ms SHA from customer service said the PIC of payment dept. will call me back later or next day, or I can make payment at counter in airport. Saturday, 07 Jan 2017 around 12pm I did not receive any call from payment dept, I had to call them back and spoke with 1 lady insisting her to make payment for my changing. She said PIC payment is out for lunch, they will call me back 30mins to 1 hour later. Until 7pm, I also did not receive any calls. I Called back and requested to speak with manager on duty, then Mr JEY- Customer Service Manager on duty informed that payment dept already closed. he will ask Person in charge to call me back 10am Sun morning. I was unhappy and complained him but he acknowledge that he could not do any thing now, just wait them call back. Very good manager right???? Then I confirmed whether I can make payment at check in counter of airport. He said NO, only via call. I complained why Ms Sha- his staff advised me to pay at check in airport counter if no one from payment dept call me back. He said wrong advised. Ok fine. I asked him if tmr nobody call me back as I made few calls but problem unsolved, I have to buy new ticket? He said that PIC will call me back and investigate my calls for delay payment. I kept waiting again until 11am, Sun 08 Jan 2016, nobody called me back. I made a final call again as my sister flight is 4.20pm later. I called then 1 guy answered, I requested to speak with Mr Jey then he hung up my call. Very rude Customer Service.. I called back again and spoke with Ms Shena asking to speak with Mr JEY. She said he is not on duty today and no manager today. I asked her to make payment the booking, She said the flight today so the payment can not proceed, only can pay at the check in counter. I asked again sure for this information as Mr Jey said can not make payment at the counter. She checked and said can as we can pay at check in counter. Now 12.pm KL time, I am praying that my sister can pay at check in counter later. This is my last booking with Malindo Air and I hope all of passengers shall NOT book MALINDO Air if you don't want to get troubles as me. God blessed Malindo Air. Tommy
Herewith, I already pay for tickets Bandung to Kuala Lumpur flights with flight code OD313, Date: Thu, 09 Feb 2017 and Kuala Lumpur to Phuket with flight code OD540 , Date: Thu, February 9, 2017. Airline booking code is OYTLYV. But there is a mistake in typing name of Raya Mustikaraya and supposed to Raya Mustiraya. Guest : This is the worst experience I met with Malindo. What a bad service and system of Malindo. Earlier I try to change my flight, called the call centre for few days and emailed the customer care for the problem, but forever doesn't receive response. Now, I try to check in my flight which is within 48 hours. However, I couldn't check in for my return flight. It keeps appearing the check in for my departure flight. I tried called their call centre for quite several times and FINALLY I got someone to speak too. UNFORTUNATELY, the officer told me I only able to check in for my return flight after my departure flight, even my return flight is within 48 hours. The reason that I have to check in before I depart as I couldn't access to a printer and I do not need to go to airport earlier for the check in or print at counter. This is the advantage of web check in by convenient the customers and reduce the queues of counters in airport. However, I don't understand Malindo has such a stupid system that bring a lot inconvenience to the customers. So far, this is the only airline company that has such system and only can be checked in within 48 hours. Please improve your system for the long term service to serve your customers better. AND the manpower of your call centre that always nobody picking up the calls. After this experience, I would always consider twice before book with Malindo. It will no longer be my first choice. having the same isssue here! I called up Malindo Contact number for economy class and was put on hold for more than two hours! Subsequently I called the Business Class number and was attended promptly. However a subsequent call was very rudely handled by a Yana who refused to give me her full name but kept harassing me for the name of the person who previously spoke to me. She refused to make changes to my ticket for economy class although the previous person agreed to do it. She refused to pass me to her team leader and finally put me on hold. What a rude person!

I travelled 3 times with Malindo but none of these reflecting my Malindo Miles (Frequent flyer program). Try calling the call centre, no one would not pick up the phone. Have tried calling for so many times. DISAPPOINTED WITH SUCH A LOUSY SERVICE. Why bother having website and call centre.
